They would follow that trail!
Not very long as it led to a large dug out area that was used to catch rain water and filter fluids through the area to keep good farm land.
In the ditch would be the missing Sil, Brill and Jake. On their knee's and bound barely hanging onto their awareness. behind them were warriors wearing masks holding swords, with a fourth standing and looking directly at Blake like it was inevitable to see him coming from that direction. An obvious trap.

The one waiting held a hand up, and Dianna would hit the ground like a freshly slain deer. Blake himself would feel heavy and drowsy. He would also find he didn't;t have the emotion or concentration to use his Qi.

He was a warrior long before he had a Qi! And this was an attack, clear as day. Without hesitation or pause, he'd launch himself forward at the one holding his hand up. He'd slash for his torso as he unsheathed his blade!

The one holding his hand up would remove his mask and hood! It was the elder that banished him!

Blake's eyes widened in shock seeing who it was, and he'd do his best to push the blade down to avoid hitting the Elder!

Blake would miss the elder and his blade would slam the ground near by. Blake would feel heavier now, more tired than before.
The elder would raise his other hand and a fire ball would manifest before turning into a sword.
"Pick up your blade, Blake Oleander. Attack me, if you dare."

There was truth to what the Elder said, but they all were freaks here. His world wasn't quite as black and white anymore.
"We all are."
He said with a furrowed brow.
"We chose to build a protector for our home rather than destroy ourselves... But... Why are we banished for being what you are?"
