Just pass midnight in a quaint little lounge bar in Long Beach and closing time was approaching. Thus the entertainment was about to go into its last number. The actual bar was in on the far right as you entered, the bathrooms to the back right, and in the center at the back where everyone could see, who choose to look, was the small stage where the entertainment was. Occasionally a band starting up near by or a comedian would come in a do their little bit, but for most nights the entertainment was a small band and singer who did old songs reminiscent of lounge singers. Most of the regulars enjoyed this most of all since that was the kind of bar it was… not all of them older folks but a good bit. Who was this singer exactly? Well he was a young man, about six foot… handsome, blonde hair with blue eyes, in good shape despite some rather bad habits and… oh yes British.
Yes, that singer was indeed Sky. This gig was his job from eight pm to about one am depending on the night, weekdays were about twelve thirty, weekends could run to almost three. Each night paid one hundred dollars though on longer nights the owner might add a bit since the two were on friendly terms. They both enjoyed Sinatra. However most of his greater income was of the tips of the patrons, left in a box at the bar. Sky got up on stage again, his outfit was a red silk shirt with the buttons undone from his neck to the top of his chest, black slacks, and a pair of Italian leather shoes. He grabbed the mike and turned to smile at the crowd.
“Well you guys have been a blast tonight! So… instead of our usual closer of Send in the Clowns… we shall send you off with something a bit more… festive.”
There were a few cheers as the band kicked in. As Sky started off with a wiggle of his hips that slowly shifted into a gentle sway.
“You can dance-every dance with the guy Who gives you the eye. Let him hold you tight You can smile-every smile for the man Who held your hand beneath the pale moon light But don't forget who's takin' you home And in whose arms you're gonna be So darlin' save the last dance for me.
Oh I know that the music’s fine Like sparklin' wine, Go and have your fun Laugh and sing, But while we're apart Don't give your heart to anyone But don't forget who's takin' you home And in whose arms you're gonna be Sooo darlin' save the last dance for me”
Baby don't you know I love you so Can't you feel it when we touch I will never never let you go I love you oh so much”
The Brit took a moment to invite an older woman of sixty onto the stage to dance with him. The two twirled about like a grandmother and son dancing at a wedding on the stage. Of course, Sky sang the whole while, pausing to do his finger wag long with “you must tell him no” as he had been doing the whole song. Also he gave his dance partner the proper eye contact that of course made her laugh with amusement at how cheesy his act could was at times. But still people had fun… that was what mattered.
“You can dance, go and carry on Till the night is gone And it's time to go If he asks if you're all alone Can he walk you home, you must tell him no 'Cause don't forget who's taking you home And in whose arms you're gonna be So darling, save the last dance for me”
During the small instrumental interlude, Sky gave the woman a hug and helped her off the stage before getting right back into the swing of things… ha ha… awful pun.
“So don't forget who's taking you hooooooome Or in whose arms you're gonna beeeeeeee So darling, save the last dance for me Ooooh, baby won’t you save the last dance for meeee Saaaave the last daaaaance, the very last daaaance fooooor meeeeeeee.”
Finishing Sky struck a pose with his head tilted downward and to the right, his right arm was raising straight up with the mike in hand. His left leg was bent, the toes planted on the ground out to his side a bit. Perhaps a bit over dramatic but hey, it was all in good fun. After taking the bit of applause, the Englishman planned to grab a bottle of water from the bar and skip out to the back alley for a smoke. That had been designated the smoking area and had a door to it right past the bathrooms.

(OOC: Cant...resist!)
Kasumi had been present in the crowd and not longer after Sky's performance had begun Kasumi was almost instantly using her cellphone to record the entire thing.
This was just classic gold, no way in hell she could pass this up. If anyone had been wondering what our darling Kasumi had been doing in a bar, well, she was 18 afterall and that meant she could go to the bars but she wasn't supposed to drink alcohol.
Lucky for her that she'd met a nice woman who was of the legal age to provide the alcohol for her whilst no one was looking, afterall, they only carded people once you got into the place...after that...no one really cared.
What made this even more gold wasn't the fact that Sky had begun to dance with a sixty year old woman, but the fact of the pose he had struck at the end of it. It was drowned out by the crowd's clapping but Kasumi had nearly been in tears as she laughed.
Ok, that was enough of that she thought while putting her cellphone away...she was so showing everybody she knew the video footage from that night. Giving the woman who had been buying her drinks a quick kiss to the lips Kasumi put down a decent amount of cash before she rose to her feet and quickly intercepted the Englishman at the bar, with a rather wide grin the slightly tipsy Kasumi giggled
"Now now~ You never told me you were a sinnnngerrrr Sky.." Her voice carried even more of a teasing tone before as the giggling girl had tilted her head to one side, grinning wide.

“Now now~ You never told me you were a sinnnngerrrr Sky..”
Of all the people that could have appeared in this bar, it had to be Kasumi, the one who would probably be teasing him about this as long as they knew each other. Ah well… it was good pay with the tips and it wasn’t like that was his first performance. He sighed as he turned toward the girl as he took a sip from the water bottle to sooth his throat. Though there was a positive… he had entertained her though perhaps not in the way he planned. Kids these days couldn’t appreciate lounge style singing anymore. A small chuckle escaped Sky as he looked at the grinning girl, deciding to play coy.
“Did I not? It must have escaped me then.”
A playfully arrogant grin formed on the Englishman’s lips. Oddly enough it did not puzzle him that an eighteen year old girl was in a bar drinking, that happened quite a bit around these type of schools. He leaned against the bar on his left, holding the bottle in his right, as he watched Kasumi in her inebriation. Unlucky for him, Sky couldn’t drink because he had to drive himself home but he had time. Reia was quite responsible for her age so a babysitter wasn’t need since Sky could eat dinner with her before going to work at this bar. Digging around for his pack, the Brit grabbed one and placed it in the corner of his mouth, knowing full well he couldn’t light it until he was outside.
“Did you at least enjoy yourself, my dear?”

With a bit of a happy glint to her eyes Kasumi leaned her self against the bar, maybe it was the alcohol or maybe it was the fact that she and Sky weren't attempting to tear each others throats out and destroy the bar.
The music what she had complaints again, simply watching Sky up on the stage had been rather funny to say the least...not quite what she'd expect from the usually classy and sophisticated brit, who seemed to loathe the fact that she had hugged him the other day.
And ah, the question of the moment as Kasumi ran her fingers through her hair, twisting a strand of it about her index finger before replying "Mmhmm...It was entertaining Skyyyy-kkkunn~!"

Another small chuckle came from Sky as he watched Kasumi. It was weird how when she was ‘tipsy’ that if he didn’t know better Sky would have sworn she was coming onto him. What a thought that was?! The simple idea of something like that being remotely possible cause him to shake his head in manner of shock at his own thoughts. It was probably just part of that personality of hers. Playing with the cigarette, he removed it and twirled it about his fingers before slipping it behind his ear for safe keeping, and he didn’t feel like digging out his pack again. Having been up there made him feel somewhat lethargic in certain aspects… mainly that task. The Brit smiled brightly to his classmate in order to express his delight.
“Really? Well I’m glad that you enjoyed that as much as the others… especially since I believe you are the first person under the age of thirty five, that doesn’t work here, to see me perform.”
There was a joking quality to his voice at the end. Sky liked doing his performances, didn’t matter who saw as long as they appreciated it and had fun. He just liked to see people smile. Now there was an urge for Sky to ask at least one of two questions that he had; how much did she drink and was his wild assumption right? The Brit ruffled his hair lightly with his hand for a moment trying to get it back to that perfect look… everyone who knew Sky knew he was meticulous about his appearance, Kasumi included. Of course it was going to be rude, but he was a nice guy and had to ask in order to prevent something bad from happening.
“May I ask how much you’ve had?”

"Enough to know that I tried to kill you once~" Kasumi said in an almost sing-song voice, she had a very high tolerance of alcohol so there was really no point in keeping count in had much she had drank that night, only that it was enough for her to get that happy feeling but still retain her common sense and thinking.
Also the knowledge that she could pretty much level again guy, drunk or not, that made any sort of sexual advancements upon her. Besides, she wasn't completely drunk drunk, she just had a nice buzz going on...which really seemed to bring out her inner-child as Kasumi was all giggles and smiles.

With a frail smile on his face, Sky took another drink from his water bottle. It wasn’t exactly something he could joke about yet, if ever, that she mentioned in such a nonchalant almost cheery manner. He would simply chalk that up as a comment brought on by the sauce, it helped him keep from getting overly angered about something that should be left in the past as they had agreed. Bygone be bygone and all that.
“Well… do me a favor and don’t going driving out of here. I’d hate to hear you got in a car accident of some kind, ‘kay?”
There was a large amount of doubt that Kasumi would actually listen to him, but Sky had to try. Civic duty and all that. If necessary, he’d paid for the taxi to take her to wherever Jyo lived in order to prevent her from driving. Of course, there was the possibility of him driving her home…
“So how’d you find this place anyway? It isn’t exactly on the normal teenage circuit.”

"I'm not a normal teenager." Kasumi said matter-of-factly, she'd been to places like this alot actually...despite what people might have thought she found this aspect of American culture really interesting, and the music wasn't really as annoying as it was in the nightclubs of the 'youth'.
Now, find her a nice underground Japanese club and she'd be there in a heart beat...but until then this was the best form of American music she could get ahold of. With a bit of a bitter smile and a giggle Kasumi grudgingly admitted something "I don't drive, na-no-da!" Her voice carried the tone of a cheery and rather innocent sounding little girl, but her actions spoke in different tones.
Her body had pressed up against the rather interesting Englishman from her past, now, there could of probably been less amusing and far more respectful ways to go about what she was about to do, asking would have been one of the more respectful ways...but hey, who carried.
With her breasts pressed teasingly up against him one of her hands slid smoothly along his body before diving into the pocket for which he'd stowed the cigarettes, god she loved her memory, and with that she withdrew the pack and claimed it as her own before backing off
"Hope you don't mind koi~" Once more her voice had lost the sweet-innocent act as she spoke more like an adult again despite still carrying the childish mannerism's about, she'd just stole the poor brits pack of cigarettes and pocketed them.

So… Kasumi wasn’t normal, not really news but Sky was impressed nonetheless that she enjoyed this kind of music. Frankly, he would never understand the whole death screaming-at-the-top-of-your-lungs rock that always gave him a headache. Or the rap stuff… how many songs can be written about chronic and bitches? Ah well. Good for her, but bad for her that she couldn’t drive be it not having a license or car. At least she wouldn’t be driving into a telephone pole… safety first.
Of course, Kasumi started to press herself against Sky which was needless to say… quite awkward and made him think he was right about his thought earlier. Again, as with the hug during their last meeting, the blood started to make its way to Sky’s face simply because Kasumi wasn’t the person who used to do things exactly like this. He had gotten used to the action for a certain person, without it being that certain person… it was once again… awkward. Slowly he tilted away from the contact, not sure if Kasumi was serious or playing, at this point either was quite possible… hell it could have been both. Of course then she just had to do it… just had to tempt him. As soon as Sky noticed Kasumi trying to take his cigarettes, he was on his way after them. Luckily he still had the one by his ear just in case.
This time Sky was the one closing the distance between them as he stepped right up in front of her and smiled an almost sickeningly sweet smile as he held out a hand. Of course, his voice had a tone that matched the smile because he knew full well that this was probably some game she was playing at.
“Oh my… could I please get my cigarettes back, love? I do need them ever so much… besides, I know you don’t smoke.”
If he didn’t get them back…
“What are you playing at?”

"Whoever said I didn't smoke?" With that the sweet innocence had disappeared from her voice more as she flicked up a very intircately designed Zippo lighter which had a rather nice design of a dragon on it, the fire had been sparked when she had flicked it up right infront of his face.
God she loved being fast, and just as soon as she had flicked it open she'd flicked it back closed putting the flame out as she leaned back again, realizing that the brit was becoming a bit too close for her own comfort indeed.
Sure, she'd used the underhanded trick to steal his smokes from him but Sky also couldn't deliver a rather nasty Qi powered blow to her groin, now could he? A bit of a sarcastic and taunting smile ahd spread across the Japanese girls face as she let out another giggle mm taking his cigarettes did seem to upset him so.
"You have a job~ You can always buy more."

Blink… blink… okay. That was just a bit weird Sky thought to himself as he recalled the meeting in the hallway at school. Sky stood straight as he folded his left arm across his chest and propped his right elbow in the palm as he brought a hand to his chin, in a thoughtful looking position. Kasumi’s personality seemed like the was a six-sided die in her head that just kept rolling about, whatever it landed on was her for a moment before the next roll.
“Well… if I’m not mistaken, when I offered you a cigarette in the hallway you said you didn’t smoke.”
Of course none of that really had any bearing on why it seemed Kasumi wanted his cigarettes, other than the pushing his buttons motive. So why not continue to push back… and get some information at the same time? Again Sky leaned toward Kasumi, this time placing an arm on the bar to each side of her to, in essence, trap her. He bent his right leg forward at an inward angle in order to protect himself from the worst kind of attack. Another arrogant grin graced his features as his hair started to fall forward slightly. He spoke in that Hollywood heartthrob kind of voice, the idea that it would make her just that much more uncomfortable… and helped him get his pack back.
“But you are right, I can just buy another so you can keep that one… as a memento of me, since Jyo obviously is leaving you wanting of something more…”

"Nothing you can give me he can't~" Kasumi said in a bit of a sing song voice, her head tilting back ever so slightly. There were so many ways that she could get out of this without even having to move, she could do so many naughty things none of which were actually violent.
Her head came down again, face to face with Sky once more before she her self pushed forward pressing her self up against him softly as her head lingered next to his ear tauntingly her tongue had darted out, giving his lobe a playful little lick and with the same sultry and adult voice as before she whispered into his ear
"Mm...You have five seconds to back the fuck up before I scream rape, love.." Her voice had that damnedable feminine charm to it, the same sultry and lustful tone though this time it was obvious that she was quite serious in the matter as she'd push her self back away from Sky's body, playfully clicking her tongue.

That was an unpleasant moment. Sky chuckled lightly and stood up again while removing the cigarette he had tucked by his ear. At least he still had one to finish the night, after that he would just have to stop at a 24 hour convenience store and grab another pack. In essence the Englishman had to accept defeat for their little game considering there was competing with such a charge, especially when he focused so much on his outward appearance. Now he just wanted to get his smoke on… sort of speak. Of course he still extended a hand toward Kasumi with his palm held open… why? Well…
“You win. So, can I at least get my lighter back? It’s in the pack…”
Yes, his green bic lighter was in the pack with the rest of the cigarettes… unfortunately he hadn’t thought to snag it out like the cigarette. He had figured he could do that outside… foolish. The Brit knew the chances were that she would say no to be get on his nerves more so… that he could handle. Hopefully she didn’t care enough to be one of those people who took it upon themselves to go on crusades in order to try and stop his smoking. More so, it would be a favor. Kasumi had her own way of dealing with the past and getting over it… in which Sky did not mettle. Same situation here. Sky got over the past by good old fashion smoking and drinking, when he was at home, without it he would probably go nuts like he had freshman year. Whether or not she wanted to see… who knew…

Despite what Sky might have thought, Kasumi really did want the cigarette for the cigarettes...not to play some sort of childish game of 'make-the-brit-quit'. With that, she'd shoved her hand into the pocket and pulled the green bic lighter out, slapping it down into his palm
Of course she won, she was a woman afterall and every woman had that delicious trump card that they could pull it. It was like the black people playing the race card, if you were a woman you could play the rape card.
Which in retrospect was probably an underhanded move for someone like Kasumi to preform but hey, when you had no money and got the craving you suppose you'll do whatever it takes. With a hum and a sigh, Kasumi stretched
"Are you happy Goldie-chan~" She asked, flicking his forehead...her voice sweet and innocent.

Sky closed his hand around the lighter with a nod of thanks, also glad that she wasn’t going to be one of those people. As for the question well… in all depended on the context of things. Of course about the only context that had a ‘yes’ answer was about getting his lighter back. The rest would be long winded ‘no’s of which he did not wish to get into, nor had he drank the amount of alcohol that would bring about that conversation so…
“Yes, quite… now I shall be heading out for a smoke.”
The Englishman spun on his heels and began to make his way toward the exit toward the smoking area. He twirled the lighter absent-mindedly between his fingers as he made his way through the first door to the entrances to the bathrooms and out the back door. Once out there he sparked a light and took a nice refreshing drag of smoke. He exhaled with a long sigh, something about the altercation game that had just been played made him think about what he had lost not too long ago. In all honesty, he wasn’t going in to the hospital tomorrow, with what was flying around his head… Sky would be drinking heavily for the rest of the night, once he got home.
