Probably much to Sky's distress a certain head of Japanese lavendar hair stepped from the door moments after he'd sparked his own cigarette up. Between her lips was neatly placed one of the thin white sticks which were sworn to cause the death of millions ever year.
Sure, it was probably a bit odd to be next to someone with a cigarette hanging from your mouth who was quite sure you'd told him that you didn't smoke, but she could really give a shit less at that point in time.
Chalk it up to the aclohol or her delightfully demented mind, she didn't care much anymore as the lighter of hers suddenly flicked open as the flame billowed upwards igniting the tip of the cigarette as she inhaled upon it.
Her wrist flicked and the flame was quickly snuffed out as the metal lid came slamming shut down upon it, the lighter returning to it's rightful place in her pocket. It had been a momento, something that her brother used to play with when they were younger as one of Kasumi's hands came up and covered her face, grabbing a decent amount of her hair the other hand had delicately put it's fingers upon the thin white stick, pulling it away as she let the smoke leave from her mouth.
"Thanks..." After everything had been said and done Kasumi supposed the very least she could do was thank Sky for allowing her to steal his cigarettes off of him. Neither of them had had much of a wonderful life thanks to that school...

The Englishman watched as his fellow senior came out shortly after himself apparently for a smoke. Soon Kasumi had pulled out her lighter and gone about lighting the stolen cigarette, and Sky basically went back to the policy of avoiding trying to figure out the girl. It would undoubtedly save him much headache. Like said before, she was a crazy die being cast about at random. He gave a blank stare as she puffed on the cig that turned into a amused smirk when she thanked him.
“You know, you could have just asked… but you’re welcome nonetheless.”
Sky smiled kindly as he spoke, his body and mind happy to have its fill of nicotine at long last. He blew another long stream of smoke from his lungs before taking a deep breath and letting a bit of fresh night air fill them as he stood in the back alley. Slowly he tilted his head back to stare up aimlessly at the night sky above him, Sky staring at sky. Since his performance, he had rolled up the sleeves of his shirt up to his elbows to get a tad more comfortable. To think that he’d be back doing the same thing with different songs and a few different steps the next night. That was the monotony that peopled hated so often at their jobs, perhaps because they hadn’t found the right one. Sky would probably stop in to do this from time to time when he was a doctor, as long as he still lived in the area. Again he glanced at Kasumi, while his was still tilted back.
"I had fun with our little game."

"That's hardly even fun!"
She sounded as if she'd been offended by the very thought of just asking him for the cigarettes, and she had a point...that was very boring. With her head tilted back she took a drag from the cigarette, blowing the smoke out the corners of her mouth.
It was amazing how much she could bounce about, one moment she'd be as sweet and innocent as a child and the next you could easily mistake her for a hardcore biker bitch...even more so was the fact that she didn't seem to notice the changes in personality which occured all the time.
Hey, it seemed natural to her so why not. Her eyes rolled backwards as she turned an upwards gaze to the nearly starless sky, fucking california. Unless you were somewhere completely remote the lights from the cities completely blacked the sky out, it pissed her off.
"Besides, I don't smoke." She said almost tauntingly, taking an extra long drag from the cigarette before crushing it out into the wall behind her.

Another small laugh escaped the Brit as he tapped a few ashes off the end of his cigarette, being out made it a bit more necessary to prolong the act. Of course Kasumi was right that asking probably wouldn’t be as fun to ask… but at least she knew she could. That was all Sky really wanted to do anymore, help those who asked, especially considering when he had tried to help those who didn’t ask… well… he had learned his lesson.
Placing his cigarette back between his lips, Sky locked his fingers together and stretched his arm over his head. He never got much sleep nowadays, as mentioned most nights he didn’t get off until one am and then went home to dwell for an hour or two. After that he got up to make Reia breakfast before dropping her off at school and heading off himself at about eight thirty. It was particularly bad on nights when memories flood him and caused him to stay up most, if not all, of the night drowning away his sorrows. Considering it all, it was a wonder that the Brit didn’t look like he was at least ten years older. Of course, he heard Kasumi mention she didn’t smoke… very funny.
“Of course not… a lady such as yourself would never do something so unhealthy, correct?”
With a sarcastic smirk Sky replied before taking another drag, this time letting the smoke slowly seep from his mouth before inhaling again. He did this a couple times before finally exhaling the smoke in streams from his nostrils.

"Good night..." And suddenly her body felt entirely too weak, her vision had within seconds blurred out of focus as she took a step forward her body wavered ever so slightly before she toppled down, piling down upon her knees before falling backwards.
Well...That couldn't have been good, had someone spiked one of her drinks with something when she wasn't looking? Had she gotten more drunk then she thought? Or did she just suddenly faint for no apparent reason.
Whatever the reason was she had been preparing to walk her way to her home when suddenly she lost control, in her last moments it felt as if something had burned inside of her and the world around begun to spiral. Her footing had missed and she'd fallen down onto her knees and then backwards, saving her self from possible damage before she'd completely passed out.
And so there she was now, completely unconscious laying there in the alley....her life just couldn't get much worse at this point...boy did she have some problems.

Sky had turned to nod a simple farewell to his long time classmate as she bit a good night, when he noticed something was off. For a second he thought that it might be some game that Kasumi was playing, but as she started to collapse completely, he realized that wasn’t the case. Quickly the Englishman dashed over to the freshly passed out woman with a great deal of concern, though having an internship in a hospital made it less of a shock. Though he wasn’t positive, Sky chalked it up to having too much to drink during the night… the worst case scenario that sat in the back of his head was dehydration. However as he placed one arm under her knees and another under her shoulders and started to carry Kasumi inside a thought crossed his mind, partially brought on by the little exchange. Was she… did Jyo… nooooo… right?
The bar had basically cleared out quite quickly as different people left with designated drivers or took cabs to get home. Only a few older regulars and the staff which was cleaning up remained as Sky carried the passed out Kasumi in with the utmost delicacy. He set her down carefully as the youngest bartender came over to see what exactly was going on. The guy was about twenty-three and had become good friends with the Englishman due to the closeness of their ages. It wasn’t the fact she was passed out, that could happen fairly often, it was the fact that she had seemed quite fine when she had followed Sky out for a smoke. Gently the senior tilted the girl’s head back to pour a little bit of water down the girl’s throat, just in case.
“What happened to her?”
“I believe she just had too much sauce.”
“She seemed fine when the two of you left…”
“Yeah, just may have effected her in a weird way… anyways I’ll take her home and make sure she is okay. If worse comes to worse I’ll drop her off at the hospital.”
“Alright, man. Take it easy… oh, by the way… no smoking.”
With a contemptuous stare, Sky put out his cigarette in the bottom of a glass that hadn’t been collect yet. The bartender went back to cleaning up and left the girl to the Englishman’s care. Seeing as Sky wasn’t the type of guy to take advantage of the situation, he checked to see if Kasumi was coming back around. If so everything would be fine… if not Sky would carefully carry the passed out girl to his car and strap her into the passenger seat before heading home. He had no idea where she lived, so they would have to go to Sky’s unless Kasumi appeared to take a turn for the worse. If that happened, next stop; Hospital.
