Krane moved his head away from he explosion as it tore is arm from his torso. He let out a grunt of pain, though his years of training and being brought up by the Gods had dulled his reaction to such things. One of the reasons his left eye had the scar over it. Why it was dead in the first place. He would breath and coat his form in a sheet of Ice, attempting to stop the bleeding as he walked back to the lines. His vision blurred and red. He would go to the back where the support soldiers were, walking calmly. He would sit down and look tot he nearest soldier, most likely Preston. "I need a Fire Qi user to cauterize this wound." He had taken a strategic retreat to make sure he didn't;t bleed out so he could go back to the fighting. He sat there in stubborn silence.
Ice Form: Krane is able to draw condensation from his body and cover his skin in hard ice adding 1/2 his Energy stat to his Defence.

All:
The man that had fired at Kyrie turned, and snapped several times, getting slightly more pale with each one.
Everyone takes +25 explosive blast damage (You may choose the damage location), except for Preston. The leader of his Cabal guard squads jumps in the way, his head exploding as he falls backward, sacrificing his life for the young prodigy.

Preston successfully buffs Krane again, being one of the only people on the field without damage!
Preston earns a new catch phrase: "Worry not, Preston has arrived!" - Since Preston was the only one untouched, if he's attacked and says this in any battle, he gains +25% energy for one post.

After firing all those attacks he shot one at Kyrie's attack, the explosion causing hers to rebound. The mech let off a hum as the man controlling it ejected, rushing forward to grab the leader who fell to a knee. As Kyrie struck it, it exploded. Kyrie takes +45 damage, and is thrown into the wall.

Avice, as she picked up the ruby, would feel a sudden jerk to her body. She'd stop running, being frozen in place for just a moment. She'd see the rest of the area around her also frozen, including Damien who was inches away, hand outstretched. She could move her head, but that was it. The item in her hand was glowing softly, and she'd feel a pull from her Qi, like it wanted to....touch.

Arianna would see the men around her being forced back by the enemy. They could use her help, if she could muster it!

His spinal column blows out his back, his legs going limp as Tina rides his body to the ground. Damn she devil was just too fast. He was screaming, trying to reach behind himself to feel where his spine broke through his back.
Tina would then have to contend with the BOOM!

Eric would be ripping a new asshole into the men, who had surrounded him. Getting to the mech and the leader would be very hard, but if he pushed himself he might make it! His spirit animal would spray blood into the air, gurgling men adding to the moans and cries on the battlefield.

Aryn's flame gives her breathing room, a wall of literal death scorching through the fools who stood before her. She'd be a sitting duck, however, for the attack from the boom man.

Krane makes a tactical retreat from the front lines- and a good thing too. The wound is incredible, and could cause him to bleed out very shortly without help. +2 to perception.

The boom man looked around the battlefield and let out a shrill whistle. This was not working.
"RETREAT! TO EXIT POSITIONS!"
The men started to fall back.

Eric smirked as he cut through the men, blood spraying around him thanks to him and Fenrir. The challenge of it is what he enjoyed. If this had been easy he would be bored. And it seemed that his Qi was kicking back on as his body started to absorb the stone from the ground underfoot to coat his body once more.
"Melt... Like Steel Beams". He'd whisper, not bothering to fight the impulsive phrase to enter his mind. He was far more concerned with reaching the leader before he could retreat.
He'd try to weather the explosions targeting him again with his revived ability.
OOC: Qi use 11/30
Level 2: Stone Skin - Eric manipulates a thin layer of stone over his body to act as armor. 1/2 energy stat added to his defense.

Krane would hold out his one remaining hand and four ice tendrils would sprout and catch the explosion and then fire it back at it's source. "I... Am... The Kraken..." Krane would pass out from fatigue and damage however.
Kraken Armor: +4 Def, +6 Eng
The golden body armor of The Gods bestowed upon him by his father, Hades. To be the monster he was meant to be.
Power: Can catch an offensive Qi attack up to Krane's Full Energy using 4 near invisible tentacles and launch it back. Can be used once per thread.

Her Qi wanted to touch it. Avice would allow it anything to keep this wank from taking it. If she couldn't move and she'd refuse to let it go. She learned to trust her Qi in her week of being bed ridden. In her only hand she'd look at the stone and allow her Qi to... Touch...

Really? Really.
Kyrie, successful in her attack on the mech, at least, collided with the wall, her bloodline blades digging against the ground to soften the blow. Her entire body ached and felt singed. She took a few breaths to fortify herself so the world stopped spinning, and then looked to where those people were, and in trying to retreat. Her hands touched the ground and she spread shadows out, trying to quickly blanket a swatch of ground with a width of a few feet, and then have the shadows coil up against their legs and hold a few of them in place.
If she got the snappy-finger man, she would aim to have a portion of her qi quickly climb higher and cover his good hand.
Qi: 3/18 uses
First use of bloodline qi. Boost will occur every odd post as long as the chains remain.

"No!" He cried out as the man's head exploded. He turned his head to look away, clenching his eyes shut in a moment of silence to a fallen hero. He didn't even know the man's name and he had died to protect him. He had made an error, he should have focused on giving him another shield rather than helping to push the attack. He had made a mistake. But the battle still raged, even if the enemies were retreating. That didn't mean they were not dangerous. "Tight formation, we are gonna maneuver to try and get to our wounded". He would cast another shield around one of his men. Qi use 8/14
Water Shield - Water Element - Support Archetype - Preston summons a disk of water that circles it's target and persists for the thread or until it absorbs an attack. The disk can absorb up to Preston's Energy in damage.
One of his protectors has a water shield!

Arianna gave those that surrounded her a brief smile, trying to be reassuring...but the explosion hit her and her body immediately went up in flames as she disintegrated before their very eyes, into ash with a surprised cry that was quickly strangled.
Two GM posts before Arianna revives. Next GM post she stops burning.

Tina is having so much fun it should be illegal! Right up until she gets hit in the arm with the boom. She lets out a shriek that is part pain, part rage, and has that lovely high pitch that teenage girls do. The axe is dropped to the ground.
"AND STAY OUT!!" She creates another ground explosion to keep the baddies away as they seem to retreat, lunging forward to thro the boom boom nightstick with her good arm to hit someone as they flee.
Because Tina gives no fucks.
"I don't...feel so good," she mumbled, woozy as she drops to the ground like a rag doll.

Aryn's screech could be heard from her cone of fire and the blast impacted her good leg, causing her to crumple with a scream of pain and rage, and her hands lifted to defensively burn anyone that approached...but more, a jet followed those that were turning tail to flee.

After Eric finished uttering the phrase, He'd feel like his spine was being ripped out....it lasted for several seconds, but to him it would feel like an eternity. His face would darken, and his left eye changed color to an icy, almost white color (pupil only). After the five seconds were over....he'd feel a new tingle in his Qi.

Krane's attack hit the man, causing him to pass out from exhaustion and the sheer damage he'd not taken, his left shoulder smoldering from the contact. The mech pilot holding him lifting him into a fireman carry and leapt over the wall!

Throwing her boom stick, she hit an enemy running away, causing his right buttcheek to explode in a mix of muscle and fat that was sprayed backward. The rest of his ass was burned to the third degree and he fell, screaming and holding himself!

"We need to tend to the wounded. The fastest among you go and grab anyone from the medical staff. I'll try and do what I can to help here."
He issued his orders and went to go tend to the wounded. He was no White Mage, but he did know some first aid at least. He knew how to apply pressure and tie off wounds to stem bleeding at the very least until proper healers came.

Aryn collapsed with a groan, her stomach rolling. Nope...not moving. The embers of her circle burned subtly around her, but certainly didn't seem to have an effect on her. Even her clothes - these ones, anyway - seemed resistant to the fire, though they were rather sooty and obviously torn where the brunt of the explosion had been.
Not to mention the mace sticking in her other leg.

Eric stopped mid-step as his spine felt like it was about to rip itself out of his body. His nerves were alight as pain wracked his whole body. The pain seared itself into his mind for what felt like an eternity. For years he struggled to continue to stand, but it was from sheer force of will that he did not back down from the pain, that he refused to kneel and submit to the pain that threatened to tear him asunder.
And it would pass. Only moments had passed, but his body was drenched in sweat. Whatever those machines were running on, he didn't like it. It brought back bad memories from long ago.

Tina would continue to be unconscious, bleeding on the ground from several wounds, if they can tell what's hers and what belongs to the men she killed.
Her unconscious dreams are of asking Krane for his autograph.
