Spit In Your Eye

It's about mid afternoon on a cloudy day. It's a bit chilly outside and it might rain.

Leon has tasked some Cabal soldiers with a simple patrol. Nothing out there, but due to recent events it seemed an appropriate response to increase boots on ground.

All the soldiers have to do is gear up and mingle the perameter just off Academy grounds.

Since she basically chickened out when the explosives went off she just thought some quiet patrol would pardon her from her cowardice.

[Rozalin Kendal]

Finally free of the infirmary, Rozalin was among the other soldiers. The clouds were there, rather than outside the window, and the rain cool against her skin. It was almost perfect.

Geared up with the others, Rozalin is honestly probably flirting with one of the other soldiers.

[Leon]

Their patrol would go seemingly normal until they reached a guy standing and looking at the wall. The odd thing would be around him at each of his sides were large Fox qi beasts. They were on his eye patch side so it would be difficult to see anything besides his side profile.

The large foxes however stared at the wall with him.

[Onides Une]

Start of the night and something strange already happened seeing someone she doesn't recognize viewing the place with interest and Qi beasts at his side no doubt. She slowed in her pace and watched him carefully upon growing closer.

[Rozalin Kendal]

Ah, the eye patch life. Rozalin knew it well. Still, it was hard to miss the suit or the foxes beside him.

"Taking a picture usually lasts longer, buddy. Is there something we can help you with?" Hip cocked to the side, she raised a brow at the man. It was odd how they were all just staring. It felt like they had to be looking past the wall, or maybe through it.

[Leon]

At the sound of people addressing him directly he'd turn his head. The foxes mimicing him in unison. He'd grin.

"Pictures do last longer. Nothing like seeing it for yourself."

He would turn towards Roz completely.

"Though maybe my attention should be elsewhere."

He'd say raising a hand to his chin.

[Onides Une]

He looked maybe just a bit younger than she and she'd deducted with the way the foxes would be moving they were Qi linked. Someone who might be able to link his Qi into other creatures and puppet them. She remained near by with barely an ear to them but otherwise she stopped advancing closer.

[Rozalin Kendal]

That was interesting and creepy. They all turned in unison with him, like a hive mind.

"True." A sly smile tugged at her lips.

"Close. He's got the beasts under some kind of mind control," Ari chimed in her head. "Kinky.

"I guess the real question is if you like what you see." She'd stay where she was at that point. Her gaze flicked over him, gauging if the control came from something on him, or if it was going to be more complicated then that.

[Leon]

"Honestly yes. But, I still should see more."

He'd extend his left hand out, veins on his face around his eye bulging, the whites turned black and his gold eyes seemed to become more accented by the black designs around his eyes.

"Get em."

The foxes would snarl and lunge forward with washing maws!

She exasperated a small cry before bringing her hands up and falling over as if she was hit by a strong wind while the beast passed through her.

She scrambled to her feet. "W-we should warn Cabal!"

[Rozalin Kendal]

Trouble wasn't long in coming. At his command, the foxes attacked.

"We'll have to see what we can do about that." She drew her sword, mentally lamenting the loss of her original, and let the beast come, kicking the one closest to her as it lunged! The sight of blue veins could be seen where the skin of her legs was exposed.

Acionna's Infusion: (+2 Attack, +2 Energy) - These shoes seem to be imbued with the power of the sea. When utilizing water abilities, or when fighting in the rain/doused with water, she gains a +5 boost to Speed and Defense. This remains for the thread. Once activated, blue veins of energy crawl up her legs, terminating just above the knees.

[Leon]

The fox was fairly confused having passed right through Oni. It turned back around and would swipe a paw at her head! 15 spf, 15 atk.

The beast kicked by Roz would fall back having risen on it's hind legs. Getting to it's feet quickly it'd take in a breath and smoke would erupt from it's teeth before it let out a jet of fire! 20 dmg!

[Onides Une]

She clumsily fell about avoiding pain as the creature blocked her path to help. With the swipe she was on her back and quickly a foot came up and snocked the pup in the snoz as she'd turn up right coming. Back to back with the other red head.

[Rozalin Kendal]

"Girl, we are Cabal!" Not even wondering what the horned girl intended to do, Roz was more focused on the creature now spitting fire at her.

"Huh. They're hypnotized, kinda like that one fight with the Rock Dude."

"Which part of it?" Rozalin's thought was aimed at her eye patch companion as she ducked to the side, feeling the heat on her skin and arm. She ignored the burn and instead would use a qi attack, hoping to knock the creature into the guy in the suit!

"The part where everyone wanted to be punched in their smug face!" Bless you, Ari.

To the others, she'd shout, "Cut a path through the beasts!  We get to him, we break his control!"

Zero Ability: Ominous Winds – Rozalin is able to summon forth winds strong enough to berate her opponent and those in melee range. Damage is equal to 1/4 her ENG stat added to her ATK with a small knock-back effect.
