The Scorpion King (GM/Open)

Eric had found another quiet spot in the training area where he could be alone, the crystal, now containing the soul of the Scorpion King in his hands as he sat under a tree.  Shielded by it's branches from the sun, his eyes closed as he channeled his Qi and intent into the Crystal.  Probing it with his mind now that it was not empty in an attempt to figure out how it works, and how to use it. 

[Leon]

This time there was a will, a mind, and it was unhappy. He could feel a rumbling from the crystal, the soul wanted out.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He would continue to channel his will into the crystal, trying to find a way to communicate with the soul other than with feelings. Trying to find some way to tell if it could understand him, or to understand it.

[Leon]

There would be a massive strain on Eric's mental abilities likely causing sweating or small head pains as the Scorpion King fought back.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd keep pushing through a headache and strain!

[Leon]

An immense level of mental strain would set in, causing a massive migraine before he would awaken within a mind scape standing before him was This Man pointing at him.

"You have captured my soul, now you die!"

In his hand would be a weapon on a chain that was now being spun around as he stood waiting for Eric to make a move.

Eric would stand in the mindscape and stare the man down. His eyes glancing at the weapon, but making no move for now.

"I doubt that. I've defeated you once, what makes you think you will fare better this time?"

[Leon]

The armor guy would scoff before throwing the round part into the ground where the chain would extend to the end.

"Jushin To Osore!"

The ground would then begin to shake like an earthquake as it broke apart and upheaved large chunks around them! Energy beams would then fire out of random spots in the ground leaping in arcs towards Eric!

"I don't speak Japanese."

He'd say, stepping forward into the erupting Earth. He didn't care. He was going to show this thing who was boss by remaining calm and collected. The stone under his feet would come around him as armor to protect his body from the blast as he continued to stare down the fighter.

Level 2: Stone Skin - Eric manipulates a thin layer of stone over his body to act as armor. 1/2 energy stat added to his defense.

"Hmph."

He would pull the chain tight as the lasers bounced off the rock armor flying around and slamming into objects in the area. The lasers would then become chains themselves, now wrapped around Eric, trapping him, much like he had trapped the Scorpion King before.

"It means Quake with Fear."

Scorpion King would then Spin and hurl the sickle part of his weapon at Eric's head!

"Perhaps you should. This is my mindscape as well."

He'd say, flexing so that the stone around him would splinter out with spikes to try and break the chains that would bind him so that he could bring an armored arm up to block the sickle that was zooming for his head.

"Wha-?"

The spikes would shatter the chains, before the arm came up to block the sickle. Scorpion King would yank it back to keep it away from Eric. Scorpion King was already dashing towards Eric however, passing his sickle as he came at him, aiming a left backhanded fist for Eric's stomach, spreading his stance wide, and yanking the chain as soon as it ran out out slack!

Eric let him smack his stomach with his fist. He'd simply hold up an arm to fire a spike at the sickle as it was pulled back. He wanted to drive the futility of this home with the soul.

"You would be better suited working with me than against me. Our strength combined could achieve far more."

The Scorpion King would back peddle quickly as his sickle was hit by the spike, pinning it against a far tree.

"I am a King. Why would I be willing to aid you?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Because I always win."

He'd start taking slow, deliberate steps toward the King.

"And if you join with me, then we always win."
