Dragonhearth was founded after the war by members of the Dragon Core who could not stomach siding with Cabal and the Crows/Militia/Guardians because ASIV IS PROBABLY EVIL.
It is a walled city in a dead harsh land
However the people inside are quite joyful. Life is celebrated, combat is normal, and often disputes are resolved with fights. Generally non lethal, though there are cases where it is appropriate to use lethal force
The Dragons were the strongest warriors in the great war, each of them akin to a living WMD
And they worship these figures and aspire to be like them. The walls around the city are painted with murals in their honor and of their deeds
Strength is gained by overcoming hardship
They run a wide gamut of qi abilities.
Some have none
Some have basic elemental ones
Some like the guy with the hand are more freakish
The special thing about DragonHearth is the Dragonflame
People can be chosen to take the trial of Dragonflame, and their spot can be taken from them by force
You must fight to keep this honor
Should you live long enough for the rite you will be tested by the Flame of the Dragon, and those that survive are said to be able to wield unrivaled power
The details of what it all entails though is known only to the Whispers of the Dragon, and those blessed by the flame
They do not shun physical deformities, and celebrate scars
Those that follow The Path of the Earth Dragon tend to be more defensive with their abilities and styles. They believe that the key to strength is to always get back up no matter the blows life and other warriors throw at you
Those that Follow The Path of the Lightning Dragon are more offensive. He who strikes first and without mercy need not fear his enemies and will stand over all who would rob them of liberty
Those that follow The Path of the Storm Dragon are more about reacting. They don't tend to strike first, but they tend to react quickly. They believe keeping your options open is best as you never know which way the wind will blow.
Those that follow the Path of the Shadow Dragon believe in secrecy. Keep your guard up, and your head down. Let yourself be underestimated, that is when you slip in the dagger. Those that follow the Path of the Blood Dragon revel in it and their scars. Often scarring themselves as badges of achievements. Strength is in the blood, and the spilling of blood is sacred and should be treated with honor. Whether it's your blood or not. They also believe in hierarchy and following those placed above you, as honor comes from such commitment.
