The monster let out a low hiss at Tina bringing up the item that was currently keeping him at bay.
"Hrnnnngnnnn it burns, and pulls and pushes and cages. I do not like it. DeStRoY IT-"

"Yeah, well, she doesn't like being in this crystal, either," Tina snapped, jabbing a finger at the dead body nearby. "That's not what friends do, unless they're joking. And NONE of us are joking." Real friends were usually myths, anyway.
"Listen, I think you're cool, so, here's the deal. I'll destroy the necklace and be your friend, instead. BUT!" She jabbed her finger at the beast instead, making sure it kept its distance. "She wants to be free. So you let her go, I give it back, and -I- stay on the outside." She pointed to her own crystal.
"But you can stay in mine, so you can always have a friend and we can watch each other's backs. No terrified wuss in my ear, no burning necklace for you. Deal?"

It hissed.
This was not a no.
It's head slunk forward a little more.
"You lie. Always lying. You'll destroy me first chance. FiRsT ChAnCe!"

Tina snorts a laugh and shakes her head, the sound actually coming into a full laugh.
"DUDE, you are the coolest thing I've seen since I've been here. Way cooler than any of the other people that pretend to be my friend." She paused, eying it with admiration and caution alike since it hadn't said no. She just dind't know if it would try to trick her either.
"Tell you what, if I'm lying, you can kill me. So, what's your name?"

It began to wiggle it's feet to try and get free slowly, but answered.
"Leyak."

"Leyak," she samples the name, making sure to get it right. Sometimes, you gotta leave a good impression to keep a friend. She still didn't full trust it, either though.
"Well, I'm Tina. So, if you promise not to attack me or take my stuff like a good friend, I'll help you outta that meat suit. We good?"

It's eyes rolled for a moment, then four of them closed, leaving only the two big ones in the middle open. It glanced at the stone she held, then at the one in her chest.
"Yes."

"Good." Tina puts the necklace and the gem in their separate pouches before making her way over to it. Since it seemed to hate the necklace, she figured Allissa's crystal was safe. Ish.
"This is probably gonna suck for you if i get close, so I promise to make it quick." She'd go over and, if there was no resistance or sudden moves, start helping Leyak out of its former cage, pulling back bits of body and flesh!
"So. Cool," she murmured under her breath. There may have been a bit of a fangirl squee in her tone.

Leyak wriggled and when it got free, it burst into a full sprint-!
Into the woods.
It came back a moment later, breathing heavily, but somewhat giddy.
"Yes yes yes....okay, I free girl, you become my new host. This is the deal, is it not?"

Well that didn't work as planned. Tina sighed and scowled as Leyak ran free, as wild and free as it had probably been in a long time, disappearing from sight. Oh well, at least she had the bracelet if it came back and tried to eat her or something. The tricky part would be figuring out what to do with a spirit in a crystal in a dead body. She still didn't know what to do with them, if anything. Probably make a report. Bleh.
Then it...it came back. Tina blinked as Leyak returned, its tone giddy, even elated, but it seemed to be interested in keeping the deal it had made. A sly grin crept across her face, eyes bright as the grin went toothy and excited. No one woudl believe this back home!
"You got it, buddy!" She would bring out the crystal with the girl's soul.

It took the crystal and promptly ate it! Chewing fervently, the monster swallowed and then spun in a circle on all fours a few times. It proceeded to run over to the girl, open her mouth, and vomit inside her gullet, the purple and black fluid seeping down into her belly.
Leyak, eyes wide with glee, leapt into the air at Tina and then vanished. Tina would find her chest crystal slightly warm and pulsing more, now. She also felt this...connection to the monster, like it would help her if she needed it.
After a second or two, the girl woke gasping, spitting blood. Her cheeks were flushed and she started crawling away backward, screaming!
OOC:
Tina gains "Leyak Forth": -1 to all stats. Once per thread, Tina can summon Layak to fight for her. Layak lasts for 3 posts and has 30 in all stats. At any other given time, she may converse with Layak mentally, with the monster being a brilliant conversationalist. Leyak can be summoned in NON combat situations for as many posts as Tina wishes. He's about three feet tall and tends to walk upright, if hunched. He runs on all fours.

Well that was horrifying. Or probably was for Allissa, being spiritually conscious as her crystal was being chomped on and vomited back into her body. Tina just admires her new friend's ability to do things. Her fingers brush against the crystal with a smile as the creature vanishes into it, the warmth an pleasant feeling and reminder.
Right up until wuss-girl started screaming.
"WOULD YOU SHUT UP ALREADY? JEEZ!" Tina was shouting right back and just as loud. At least one of them lived. She would find other boyfriends. Maybe.
"You're alive. Be happy for that, at least." She could have just given the crystal with her spirit still in it to Leyak, after all.
"Just, I dunno, go to the infirmary or something." Ugh.

The girl got up and ran the fuck away!
