The pink haired woman seemed curious at Preston straightening up, but otherwise oblivious. When Roz introduced herself Annie's gaze swerved over and she blinked a few times.
If there was one of the two she seemed more in awe of...it was her.
"...so...I can call you Blood Rose? I mean it's a long name and all but how'd you get it?" Questions bubbled forth!

"I'm going to go and see if I can get a sample from the border since she seems to be doing better."

Roz basked in the awe, nodding at Preston.
"Don't die." She'd give him a wink before turning her attention to the girl with the glowing orbs, raising a brow again. Definitely feeling better since she was full of questions. And very, very bubbly.
"You may, though the story may be longer than you'd like." Her gaze flicked over the younger woman.
"And what do we call you?"

The slight gleam from the glasses being shifted caused her to blink and look back at Preston before her attention was captured by Roz again.
WHIPLASH, anyone?
And then she went still, clearly stalled by the return of the question.
"I, uh...I'm Annie. Annie Mei Xun."

Preston would traverse to the edge of the safe zone, to where the storm had started to rage. It was here that he'd grab his equipment so he could obtain an air sample and soil sample! He would use them for a spell later.

Annie looks puzzled a moment before gathering her legs and feet under herself and slowly moving up to her feet. Well, looked like it! It wasn't like she was weak or wobbly, or anything.
In fact, she bounces a couple times, like it's fascinating.

Rozalin raised her brow at Annei's reaction. The girl acted like she'd never done this before. It was a welcome sight to have Preston back, nodding as he rejoined them.
