Bailey would find a tall and thin man, somewhat sickly looking. He let out a low hum.

"Try to go easy on me, okay lass?"

The door slammed shut behind them, and he coughed again, slowly drawing his sword. With a flicker, the scenery around them changed, and they were in a fighting cage, like the ones from times of old. He coughed again.

Bailey blinked at the sight of her opponent stepping into the ring. He looked like he had seen better days, to say the least. She actually started to feel bad.

"Sure?" Was this an insult, trap, or joke? Did they think she was weak, too, with no name and title to go by? He had to be more than he appeared to be. She drew her escrima sticks, startled at the change in scenery as it lead to something other than a pit. A cage, then. She would have to watch her footing as well as her opponent. Part of her wondered what caused the change.

She would feint to the right, then strike from the left, remaining on the bottom of the cage floor for now!

The old man was too slow, and her stick smashed home, sending him skittering across the ring. His back popped, and he stood a little straighter, some color returning to his skin.

"My my...you're strong."

He'd leap forward and aim a downward slash, intent to cut Baileys left shoulder!

Ability 1: Pleasure from Pain - Oku gets +1/3 the damage dealt to him back in reinvigorated energies. Increase Atk, Spd, Def and Per by 1/3rd the Atk of his opponent.

That popping sound would have been horrifying, once. The old man seemed to come to life with more pep than before. Her lips pursed as the old man seemed to grow stronger than before, more life in his eyes and speed to match.

"I guess you could say that."

She flicked her hand at him, a glowing arrow forming beneath his feet before hopefully repelling him back! Regardless if it succeeded, she would flick her fingers at him, golden stitches bidning any part of his body that touched the side of the cage (or bottom of it if the arrow fails) to the wall!

Her attacks worked like magic, stitching the older male up like a build a bear. He looked at his own body, then frowned.

"And filled to the brim with Qi, too? It seems Cabal is somewhere to be respected."

His color enhanced further, and his body began to age...backwards. His scraggly beard started receding into his chin, and he looked around thirty years old, a wide toothy grin showing as he ripped off the stitches and stepped off the cage wall.

"I hope to see more!"

He'd lunge forward and aim to knee her in the ribcage, hopefully sending her body back to smash against the octagon wall.

He slammed a foot down, smashing the Arrow as it came near, his grin having never receded as he said nothing, just exhilarated by the battle!

He'd slash with his sword at the air, a blade of energy rushing towards her full speed!

The arrow dissipated as quickly as it formed, overwhelmed by her opponent's might! First blood went to her opponent, it seemed, as Bailey hissed at the strike to her shoulder. She felt in her gut that she woudln't be able to win by physically attack him, so now it was a matter of new strategy. The webbing would show briefly on her legs as she boosted her speed, rushing behind him and trying an arrow again, hoping to pin him to the ceiling this time with closer contact!

She was way too fast!

Her arrow worked, blasting him toward the ceiling. He'd spin in the air, however, to sword slash at it, blowing him back down toward the ground where he'd land superhero style, fist smashing into the ground as he'd try to upheave the earth and cause her to fall. If it worked, he'd slash at her again, energy blasting at her once more!

The earth shakes along with the cage! Bailey's knocked off balance with the attack, coughing with the dirt that comes with it. She rolls to one side as the slash comes at her, the attack almost missing her as she got to her feet. This time, she would aim to get close, slipping behind him and poking the shoulder of his sword hand with her escrima stick.

"Behind you." If he'd turn to swing at her, she'd stitch his sword arm to a wall and try to disarm him. If not, she would defend herself as best she could for his attack! She could feel the blood seeping into her clothes, sticking to her as her hair stuck to her forehead, her breathing growing heavier with the continued attack!

Making it behind him, he did indeed swing for her, which would cause her attack to work. His arm was stitched so he spun, dropping the sword and catching it with his other hand and stabbing it into the ground. Jumping onto the wall he would push with his legs and pull with his arms to rip his stitched arm out. The skin on his arm shredded like pulling the burned outside off a marshmellow.

He grabbed his sword and slashed at her, cutting Bailey at the forehead, a deep gash! +60 damage

The shredded arm hung limp, Oku having made the choice to sacrifice the arm and instead use his boost to cut her face!

This particular application of her sutures was one she hadn't considered before. A soft giggle escaped her lips as she watched his arm turn to lacerated meat and created an energy arrow up behind him, hopefully slamming him into the corner of the walls so she could stitch him to it again!

Then she walks up one of the walls herself, the opposite side of the same wall he had jumped on, wiping the blood on her face as the world starts acting like a tilt-a-whirl in her vision!

He whipped the sword around, cutting through her arrow attack and side rolling to avoid the stitches and stabbing the sword into the ground as he slid, digging into the ground and baring his teeth, then laughing as she ran up the wall.

"I LOVE IT!"

He cut the air twice, sending two blasts of energy blade at her!

She hissed as the blade sliced her skin again, another deep gash that left her vision turning red as blood seeped along the corner of her eye. She figured she had one shot left, her arms turning numb with the continued blood loss. Taking a deep breath, she'd jump up, bolting across the ceiling of the cage and dropping behind her opponent at a sprint, aiming to slam her escrma stick against the back of his head!

"Scorpion Grip!": With he power of 60,000 newtons of force Bailey is able to grip adding her full energy stat to her Attack stat.

Taking a knee, the blood pouring out of his arm caused his vision to blur, and in that second he lost sight of her. Spinning around, he whipped the sword up as her Escrima sticks smashed into his head, busting his skull cap off and killing him instantly. However, with the speed and scale of the strike with her lack of perception, Bailey ran herself along the blade, cutting herself wide on her right side. Organs threatened to push out, and Bailey would know....this was a fatal wound.

As the cage came down, a young girl ran over with some flowers, shoving them down Oku's throat. Then, she did the same to Bailey. If Bailey swallowed (which would feel like she was forced to), she'd feel an intense pain in her side and forehead as the wounds literally began to heal themselves. Oku sat up too, despite his death.

"M-my goodness, I never thought I'd lose!" as he spoke, he grew older.

"W-well done, milady..." He coughed. "In my prime, we'd have been a much closer match!"

He grinned.

Bailey gains +5 exp, and for the remainder of the thread it is physically impossible for her to die without total destruction of the body (Fall in lava, disintegration, etc)
