WODK II: The Second Great Territory War (Speed Event)

Theme

Hovering over the battlefield, one might question the logic of war. The green fields of Edgewood, just a short distance from the Military Academy of Cabal, was coated in the blood of the damned. Hundreds of bodies littered the area, swords and steel clashed. In the distance, Mech's were firing energy weapons into students aged from 14 all the way up to fifty.

Explosions rocked the area. Friends and families would never be the same-

And yet, Edward Reevak felt it was just getting started.

Arms crossed, He sat far above the battlefield on a throne made of air, watching everything as it progressed forward.

All according to plan.

Krane heard and fully informed the Dragon God of War. The ranged soldiers fired a volley into the oncoming troops, giving him and Bailey some breathing room. More Hearthians formed up around them, forming a massive shield wall protecting them further and pushing forward!

Avice would, directly following the warning, get shot in the thigh with an arrow, the bolt sticking out both ends as blood fell onto Krane from her leg.

As Bailey was well protected, nothing stopped her from continuing to buff Mathew. However, both her and Krane would need to move quickly. There was still several hundred men pouring down on them, and despite their incredible gains, they were still outnumbered, many Cabalans and Hearthians dead on the field.

David nodded, shifting over to the Melee wall, bloody sword in hand. He'd cut further into the enemy from the side, killing 7 more and forcing them to redirect attention on the Storm Dragon and take some stress of Krane and Bailey. Kyrie ripped the enemy a second breathing hole, her chains and combination attacks killing 13 more. The soldiers around her didn't fare quite so well, however, Hearthians losing about 23 men from guarding her side.

Aryn roasted the head of an enemy, causing him to scream before falling back, dead. She punched the second in the face, causing him to stumble but was hit by a bolt of lightning from the hand of another enemy! (+10 damage after defense). Three enemies near her turned and broke out, fleeing in the face of the Unshaken one!

Mathew would proceed to lift the rock of the 90, hurling it and, on impact, killing them instantly! His 98 tons of hearth plowed into the screaming reinforcing, killing another 131 men, wounding 65 more. His stone tomb activated, killing those 65 plus an additional 17 he'd hurt previously. Due to the incredible chained attacks and their force, Mathew loses 20 energy for 3 rounds. His laser smashed through those cut off enemies, killing 33 of them and wounding 9 others. So far, the Earth Dragon was making his presence felt!

Blake succeeded in his retaliation, the laser blasting through the mech, lifting it up and off him to explode in the air, the rubble landing next to him killing 3 more enemies, plus the one in the mech. He'd be surprised by a body coming out of the smoke, and would see clawed hands and an evil smile as those hands exploded in front of Blakes face, point blank.

However, the people he resurrected would stand and shake themselves out, rejoining the fight! +7 Cabalans.

Big Bang Wave Damage: 85 after defense (not including crystals), Blakes right cheek and ear are severely burned regardless.

Tobias seems to be well hidden, thus ignored.

Everyone: Despite his incredible attack, the men Mathew killed of the reinforced army began to glow....and stood. Their eyes were now solid blue, and they bared their teeth. Some had twisted limbs and broken necks, but marched onward. Mathew would notice a man near the rear in a black cloak, holding out a hand toward his men. The hand was glowing.

[Krane Asiv]

Krane would look at the battlefield now, everyone knew their task. Everyone was doing what needed to be done.

"Everyone... Maintain current structure."

Krane would look to the ground taking a breath and reaching up with his good arm, pulling the dented headdress from his head and tossing it to Bailey.

"Give that to my father."

He'd rush to the front line, and move to kill whatever was immediately near Blake.

"Blake... Throw me at their leader. As hard as you can."

[Blake Oleander]

Blake would break rank to grab Krane and hurl him at the leader!

[Kyrie Blaze]

Her blood was singing, pounding in her ears and in her veins. Krane's orders were followed, and suddenly it seemed as though her bladed chains went on a skewering rampage, extending out to drive through the hearts of three or four people a piece, the initial links in front of the chest of each first person pierced blocking up and pushing outward, and Kyrie began to use the bodies to form a protective outer wall.

In the mean time, her last chained blade of the six continued to use the body as a flail, beating down and back the others to make it easier for them to be slain.




Qi Use: 1/23

From Kyrie's back, six bladed chains can manifest. Each chain has the equivalent stats of her ENERGY can move independently of one another, each can be manipulated and extended to unknown lengths. The longer the chains remain present, Kyrie gains extra ENERGY up to a maximum of double her current energy.

Bloodline Qi 4/8 posts to full boost.

v. Weapon to Hand: Kyrie can create and manipulate shadow into objects or weapons. It remains manifested as long as she wills it to, but any break in contact will have the object/weapon dissipate. Naturally this is much more difficult in bright sunlight and any weapon or object manifested in bright sunlight receives a -1/4 of her ENERGY in strength and effectiveness. The weapon adds 1/2 her ENERGY to her ATTACK.

[Avice Locke]

She snapped the head off the arrow after taking cover and scoped the field her eyes needed adjusting with all the Qi fogging this place but she thought things looked grim. With all the power they were only ticking away at the army the faced. Avice was not far from Krane and she'd face any who dared challenge her.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey found the headpiece in hand without processing what was going on until Krane tld her to give it to his father and rushing towards Blake. Sucking in a breath, Bailey would tuck it for safe keeping and grab for any flowers the dead medic may have, giving it to Jackal for safekeeping.

She moves closer to the front line, sticking to formation as much as possible before turning her blade to attack the first oncoming soldier coming at her!

"ARGHAKSF, YOU BASTARDS."

Aryn's attention is diverted to the lightning-weilder and she snarls a gleeful grin.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT I USED TO TAKE FROM THE LIGHTNING DRAGON?"

She pushed forward - just one step but otherwise holding her position - feeling the pain but shrugging it off, firing off a jet of black hellfire at the lightning dude!

"BURN."

Murderous intent lit her eyes. He wanted to zap her? He'd taste her flames.

Well most of the men that had gone to flank were down. It was a good warm up.

Edward continued to watch, a small smile on his lips the entire time. His left eye was slightly mechanic, and adjusted to get the perfect views, but he continued staring, watching how things unfolded.

Almast, after his attack on Blake, had taken off at a sprint toward his mechs to issue orders. Krane would come flying in like a bullet, smashing into his back to tackle him as he wished. As he hit, an explosion erupted off his back between them, ripping the shirt clean off Almasts body, revealing immense tattoos that started to glow.

Kyrie slaughtered 16 men in quick succession, absolutely devastating her enemies. An arrow wizzed in close, slicing a little piece of her left ear and causing a small spurt of blood to erupted outward. David would be over behind Bailey.

Avice heard first what nobody on the ground heard. Dropping in from the woods and coming over the hills were hundreds of flying men with wings, wearing 102 armor. In the hands, they carried cylinders that glowed blow. They proceeded to drop them on the rear flank of the Cabalan army, explosions of blue energy wreaking absolute devastation on their ranged men, blasting Cabalan and Hearthian body parts into the sky. (86 Allies killed, 23 wounded. +220 enemy air force.)

Bailey would pick up ten rounds of "Cast the Dawn" leaves! As she moves toward the front lines, enemies start pointing at her, noting that she was a support unit and rushing her way!

(Bailey gains +10 "Cast the Dawn" leaves. When fed to a dying individual, these leaves can bring them back from the brink of death, healing their most damaging wounds. It has limited scope, however, and does not affect minor injuries nor decrease the level of exhaustion someone feels.)

Aryn fired at the lightning man, who screamed as he jumped to the side, his right arm lighting aflame as she burned him. Two more enemies fled from her to engage elsewhere, the lightning man holding his arm. Aryn would fight three men rushing her other side, swinging swords for her face, midsection and one of the legs.

Mathew would find a branch of fifty air units of the enemy branching off, spread out to prevent quick reduction of their numbers. They began to drop more cylinders, aiming for him and Jeremiah! His spikes cut through eight more men, blood and gore spilling over the ground and watering the earth with their life fluids. Still, the enemy seemed unshaken, rushing toward Mathew with spears to attempt impaling him, this time aiming for his face!

[Kyrie Blaze]

The sharp sting of the arrow slicing against her ear had Kyrie looking in the direction it flew from. One at a time, the skewered chains would lift, flinging the bodies farther afield and into the enemy ranks to demoralize them.

Each bladed chain, after, would continue slicing and dicing, aiming for soft, vulnerable spots: major arteries left unguarded, throats.

But she was watching, intently, her hand-held swords held in a higher guard position than before.



Qi Use: 2/23

Aryn shrieked her unbridled rage as the three came in, the jet slinging around as her other hand came up and around to burst a close-quarters explosion to heat up their weapons and allow her to be blasted back and tuck-and-roll to somewhat awkwardly regain her feet. Their weapons would be pretty damn toasty...

...not to mention their skin.

"Mother. Fuckers."

Less than ideal, but it seemed she wasn't alone. Bailey would hurl a series of sutures at one of the soldiers rushing her, aiming to stitch their weapon to their hands and prevent using it! She'd strike out at the the closest coming after her with her sword, forcing herself to take deep breaths as her body proceeded to remind her of the injury that had just healed over.

Ability #4: Nature's Sutures - Using the energy of the area, Bailey is able to "stitch" someone to any surface of her choice, immobilizing physical attacks and qi uses relying on them. (Physical only. Telepathic qi and effects based on energy, senses, willpower, etc are not effected). Effects last for ability level (currently 1 post). If the target's Speed is higher than her Energy, they have the ability to break the stitches within one post.

Since he was above most of the battle he could see the enemy movements and right now it looked like it was time to take control of the skies. He'd line up a shot to fire at the largest clump of air units he could find! Launching a chest canon blast at them! All while painful bulges formed on his back before exploding outward as wings of his own sprouted!

Monsterous Claw - His right arm morphs and cracks into a monstrous claw that adds 3/4 of his energy to his attack stats while the transformation is +8 Def while active

Chest Canon - Blake's chest fires out a beam of concentrated energy at his opponent adding 125% of his energy stat to his attack for the blast. However, the attack deals 1/2 of his energy stat to himself.

Wings: Through a painful restructuring and rapid growth of his bone structure and muscle structure wings sprout from Blake's back needing one post to 'Dry' (Dry post does not consume a Qi use) it adds 75% of his energy stat to his speed stat. This also allows him to fly at the same speed as his energy stat.

[Avice Locke]

Aerial attacks werr coming and she might have been the first to hear them but was not long before they made ground. She used her burst speed to join in. She'd attack the stragglers one by one with her energy blade using it more like a long knife than a sword.

Qi use:1

Vampiric Knight: Avice has unlocked the cape of the Vampire Knight. All Qi moves are considered Vampiric, while active, healing Avice for 1/2 the damage she does to others be it physical or Qi. The cape also allows Avice to flout or glide without needed to touch the ground, levitate if you will.
Note: Drinking blood now actually regenerates wounds halving recovery time.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Noting the bombers heading his way he'd grin.

"And push in! If they want to bomb us make it cost them!"

He'd rush forth toward the main bulk of the enemy forces, slashing at the men with spears with his sword, sending spikes flying at others as his feet hit the ground.
