WODK II: The Second Great Territory War (Speed Event)

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie fell to a knee with a hoarse cry of pain, but ultimately grunted and pushed back up, back through the pain. She'd been through worse before, much worse, and she refused to stay down. So the blades flailed a moment before turning around on themselves to slice up his hands...and if he persisted she would have to cut his hands off at the wrist.

He'd have to drop them, leaving them free to quickly and effortlessly return as that black winged mask remanifested over her face as she took a look at the brute.

Her breaths evened out slowly after the shock of the pain, and the little blonde's steely blue gaze locked on to him after passing over one of the blue-eyed soldiers that seemed to have revived.

She would know everything.

viii. I See You: Kyrie's mask gives her the ability to see a person's qi: what it does, its weaknesses, and can literally read a person's stats.

From Kyrie's back, six bladed chains can manifest. Each chain has the equivalent stats of her ENERGY can move independently of one another, each can be manipulated and extended to unknown lengths. The longer the chains remain present, Kyrie gains extra ENERGY up to a maximum of double her current energy.

v. Weapon to Hand: Kyrie can create and manipulate shadow into objects or weapons. It remains manifested as long as she wills it to, but any break in contact will have the object/weapon dissipate. Naturally this is much more difficult in bright sunlight and any weapon or object manifested in bright sunlight receives a -1/4 of her ENERGY in strength and effectiveness. The weapon adds 1/2 her ENERGY to her ATTACK.

His eyes taking in the battle and the movements of the armies, Tobias raised an eyebrow at the sight of a face once known long ago. The lightning dragon appeared on the battlefield and stirred the flames of war with his actions. The sides of this battle became clear to him and his body shifted as energy raced through it. A chance to step onto the battlefield and dance with the fates once again.

"Hide yourself."

He could feel his daughter's gaze upon his back and knew she worried about him. His body was a wreck and he had long since passed all his strength into her. He was an old tiger looking for death, yet this did not feel like it was his time. As he watched the flow of the battle, Tobias waited till he could feel his daughter's presence fade and then waited for the enemy to attempt to counter the new reinforcements. As the chosen moment arrived, he would shoot from the treeline and arrow himself towards the area that he could do the most damage and spread the most chaos. All it takes is one person in the right spot at the right time to throw off the tempo of a fight. One person to turn the tides of war.

Edward leaned forward and frowned. It seemed the invasion force, over time, were winning. Unexpected. Sheer numbers wise, it was not unheard of but he had hoped for more of a show. As Leon showed up with his men, however, he leaned back with a sigh of relief, and continued watching.

Bailey'd turn around to see David defending her rear, as he was ordered. However, at her words, he'd laugh. Reaching up, he adjusted his tie, buttoning his coat as purple electricity burst up around him, his sword howling as he gave a little nod. "You had but to ask." He rushed forward, his sword severing their heads and blowing their bodies backward. Clenching a fist, David proceeded to suck the air out of the lungs of his enemies, causing them to gasp and choke and collapse as he now went wild on the enemy. (David kills 35 enemies every round moving forward.)

Avice did indeed dodge, but would find two of the flying men plowing into her full speed, blasting her and them down into the ground to hit the earth and roll among the Hearthians.

The man didn't seem phased by Mathews claim, cocking a brow.

"Show me yours and I'll show you mine."

From around Mathew, Jeremiah burst, his flaming sword smashing into the mans stomach, sending him sliding back as fire erupted over his body, burning away the fabric. He spat blood, but only smirked. "My my. Mr. Sykes. We meet again." Jeremiah's body glowed as he'd look to Mathew, clearly intent to kill this man with him.

Aryn and Leon would see the enemy, clearly unfazed by Leons entry, continue rushing forward like they expected him. the rear of the army turned to engage Leon's men, the Mechs firing on his people without so much as blinking as their armies engaged. (-23 Lightning men, -41 enemies) Aryns rolling explosion wheel blew men apart like fucking watermelons, coating the fields with yet more blood and gore. (20 enemies get straight up fucked)

Kyrie cut his hands off, earning a roar from him. He pointed the stumps at her, interrupting her next move by firing energy blasts out of them! (Energy blast strength: 40)

Tobias would find himself engaged immediately, men turning and throwing axes. As he got close, two with swords leapt forward and would attempt to slash down on him!

Blake would take to the sky slashing his scythe at the enemies and trying to raise Cabal soldiers!

With David effectively cleaning up and making way, Bailey had breathing room to continue her buffing! She would look over the field to find the most in need, and noticed Mathew going one for one with someone on the enemy force!

She boosts Mathew again, the familiar webbing doing its thing!

She was taken down and landed with a cry out escaping her throat.

She saw flags of the enemy all around and thought if she hadn't moved they'd have her pinned and maimed in quickly. She would feel her Qi and try to reach for something within her to bring forth and get her out of this bind!

[Leon]

"We shall."

Leon would use the newly gained axes and throw them as his eyes changed to the Seikatsugan making it appear like he hadn't thrown the axes at all. He would draw the blade of the Lightning Dragon, electricity crackling to life around him as he copied Bailey's power. He then enhanced it with his own power and also sent a buff of energy to Mathew.

Leon saw no reason to order his people to do anything, they knew the score. Kill or be killed, it was the same during the war. Fight and survive, or die.

Aryn loooooooooooooooooooooooooves straight up fucking her enemies.

She screamed, wordlessly, the sound hungry and haggard, and STOMPED the ground; a field of hellfire appeared, scorching the earth and burning and smouldering, giving her a HELLA NICE BOOST. Then she sent off another round of rolling explosions to those assholes around them, adding just five more beads to the mix this time.

Might as well keep Leon in the clear and burn these assholes.

Description: Once per thread, Aryn is able to use the treads to generate a stationary field with a radius of ten feet at the point she's currently standing. This is a "fired field" (hello fires of hell) that boosts hellfire qi by 1/2 of her current energy. This field lasts for four posts.

He'd just grin as he pulled the Scorpion soul back into his body. The armor of the beast overlaping his flesh as he cracked his neck. His fists clenching as he roared in fury! His body erupting with energy the color of the flames of war. Ares was unleashed. He'd harness the energy within his dragon, drawing his stored power into his body. It wasn't enough to bring him back to where he was, but it should be enough to show the might of the Earth Dragon!

He's seen this man now, he had his measure, and he would exploit his weakness. Starting by cutting him off from his Qi energy.

"Back away Jeremiah unless you too wish to die."

He'd snarl, the rage of Ares pulsing through him as he held his hand out.

"E ehjuga dra Mekrdhehk Tnykuh"

The Lightning Dragon's blade would erupt into his hand as he chugged down his potion feeling the energy surge through him. The ground under the so called Reckoning would tremble as a massive amount (500 tons) of it was ripped upward, floating into the air before he'd hurl it at the bulk of the enemy forces. He'd try to bury them all under the Earth and give Cabal a new Graveyard. Complete with complimentary graves.

Don't say he never gave you anything Cabal.

Letting out a shirll whistle his Shadow split into a Mist as a massive wolf would emerge growling and moving like the mist. Red eyes reflecting the end of days as it howled to the sky. Ragnorak had arrived.  Grinning at his wolf he'd lift his hand up to the flying enemys and fire his laser at them to try and take them all out of the fight.

Strike Lazer: the battle armor forms a stinger on a chosen fist to be used for striking. It may also fire a penetrating beam of energy doing 125% dmg and doing 1/4 dmg in disease damage the following post. Lasts 2 posts

Special: The Jade Dragon: +12 Energy Charges 50/50



Power: Multi-Thread Power - Over the prospect of time this Jade Dragon stores energy through the user focusing energy into it. For every post the user may move a "Use" of their Qi into the Jade Dragon creating a +1 charge, for a max of +5 per thread. This can be done for up to 10 threads before it is full and can no longer contain energy. At any point in time, the user may absorb all the stored +1 charges to add +50 stat point to be distributed how needed. After which until recharged to at least +10, +1 charges no longer gives static stat points.

Cabal Ring: +5 Energy

By showing loyalty to Cabal the wearer may summon a lesser form of a Dragon's sword. Words seem to sprout from their mouth of their own will. The only incantation the ring has learned so far is;

"E ehjuga dra Mekrdhehk Tnykuh" - This summons the blade of the Lightning Dragon. This blade adds 1/2 the users ENG stat to the wielders ATK stat. This lasts four posts and can not be knocked from the wielders hand. This changes all damage types the wielder does to 'Lightning' type.

Silence, Fool: Eric can now, to up to 2 people within 20 feet of himself, seal any Qi attacks from being used for up to 2 posts by the individual. After wearing off, they get a backlash increase of +10 energy. Does not work on anyone who's energy is greater than his own. Base only.

Eye of a Mentor: Eric's capable of seeing a person's lowest stat through the most minimal of body language. Should he capitalize on this the counter stat increases by +15 for the following post. Can be done twice per thread. (Str vs Def, Per vs Spd, Energy vs Energy, etc and vise versa.)

[Kyrie Blaze]

The shadows along the ground beneath her feet seemed to leap up, beckoned to her hands to create a shield-wall for herself and those nearest to her by barricading against the hefty blast.

As soon as it faded, her chains acting to further brace herself, the tiny blonde boosted herself into the air and leaped three additional times in rapid succession, gaining altitude with a grunt of exertion each time. The earrings - the black pearls - against her ears increased in their dark glow as Kyrie coaxed the dragon through the portal of the doomed world. She had to get higher for this, unwilling to set the dragon loose without at least aiming it towards the bulk of their enemies with a harsh cry; the gauntlet against her one arm started to glow even brighter in preparation to contain all the backlash from the dragon solely to her arm.

With a roar the black dragon burst into being, heading in the direction Kyrie pointed. The beast let out a fierce roar and surged forth!

"UPMEDANYDA DRAS..!"

At the apex of her leaps after the dragon was unleashed, a shadowy pair of dragon wings extended from her own back, connecting down to her sides so she wouldn't simply freefall. The blonde breathed, dive-bombing towards the ground and swooping in with a quick buffet of wind towards the foe she'd been facing.

Her eyes gleamed.

Her dragon would be coming back for the price she would pay...

Straight through this commander in its way.

Her bladed chains were in guard position, same with the two swords she held, and she snarled beneath her breath.

Shadow Manipulation: Kyrie is able to actively manipulate shadows currently present, including things such like causing shadows to extend from her position to connect with someone else's and thus "snap" to their position upon entering the shadow realm, or extend the shadows from her current position within the Shadow Realm to connect with another in order to pull someone else in.

vii. Take Wing: In line with being able to create materials/weapons/objects from her qi, Kyrie has been known to - on occasion - fashion herself a pair of large dragon wings that she uses for a gliding-sort of flight, as it's more akin to a wing suit than anything. Typically she jumps from on top buildings and glides around, as to start to fly from the ground takes immense lift and strength, given the fact human bodies aren't really meant for flight. Perhaps in combination with her bloodline qi this would be possible...

[Earrings] Earrings of the Doomed World
Description: These earrings act as a gateway to the Doomed World, where Kiyr can coax out the Dragon of the Shadow Flame. She must however offer up her own energy as bait, once unleashed it is impossible to fully control, it does Kiyr’s maximum Charisma in damage +50, and does half of that in damage to one of Kiyr's arms.

[Hands] The Forge-Gods' Gauntlet
Description: This glowing gauntlet was passed in secret to Kyrie during Mathew Amtrum's funeral. Since then it has spent some time within the shadows, and seems to have grown in strength. Its unique ability is - after her mishap with the Doomed World Dragon while fighting David Blaze - that it strictly contains the Dragon's wrath to her arm instead of the backlash coming to be too out of control and ravaging her own body, and so the damage is contained within its confines. It reduces the backlash to 1/4 of Kyrie's energy, instead of 1/2.

Blake began to cut into the enemy fliers, scything through the surprised units who didn't expect someone so large to take flight! Blood and wings fall into the armies below, men screaming and floundering out of the sky. (13 enemies die.) He does take five arrows to the back, as most of the attacking fliers move in to engage the LT enemies! (Blake has 5 fliers left to deal with)

Bailey finds herself buffing Mathew's perfectly shaped ass. She would find that unleashing the Storm Dragon allowed the Hearthians to press forward, attacking the enemy more rigorously. She'd also find this strange shield of air over her body, protecting her. A tornado tore down out of the sky, ripping into the enemy and earning screams across the battlefield! (Bailey gains +90 defense for the remainder of the thread. Piercing weapons used by those with less Atk than she has defense glances off. Enemy morale drops as more men are killed by the Storm Dragon. Add 30 to standard round kills, 65 total.)

Avice would feel this intense warmth flood over her body. She'd discovered something new, but would find it was a boon she could keep secret from her enemies- they were fleeing the battlefield!

(Ability 2: Diamond of a Thousand roughs, MYTHIC ITEM **May not be upgraded, traded or sold** - Avice finds herself connecting with the diamond on an intense level, and would feel like she jumped into a pool of untold amounts of energy. Avice has a pool of 1000 energy stored within the stone. Once per post, Avice may take up to her energy from this stone, stacking it on top of her own energy. She may also pass on a Qi use, adding 1/2 her energy into the stone up to 1,000 max energy. Once per thread, she may take 300 energy and heal herself fully with it.)

Leon's axes smashed through two men, embedding in the two men behind them! (4 men get plugged). He'd find the enemy starting to show fear, backing away from the fully empowered Lightning Dragon! (Enemy moral is near to break.) Men screamed and burned from Aryns attack, explosions blowing several men in front away, limbs flying off to smash into people, a penis being blown off and spattering against Leon's face! (1 damage, 18 men killed)

Mathew's decimation of the enemy forces was utter and complete chaos. He cut a swath through the fliers, Wiping them all out in an instant. (+70 enemy deaths) His attempt to neutralize the reckoning failed as the man absorbed the attempt to take away his Qi, firing it back at Mathew. Rather than listen to his former enemy, Jeremiah leapt in the way, taking the Qi restriction head on, which turned his flames completely off. He would be a foot in front of Mathew, rushing forward to stab the commander through the chest as he attempted to flee, pinning him to the rock face as Mathew lifted them both, hurling him and the bad guy into the opposing force. Mathew vengefully slaughtered 441 men in the explosion of rock and dust and stone, men screaming in terror as they were buried in tombs and crushed beneath the weight of the living God, Ares. (441 enemy men dead, Jeremiah dead, 1 Commander dead)

Kyrie's summon cracked the earth beneath her. With a screaming roar, she ripped the dragon out and tore through the commander, who's eyes widened as his body was completely obliterated. Screaming fire and ash and blood as he was ripped to fucking tatters. The Dragon swarmed onward, crashing through the men like a great wave as Mathews rock came down, killing 38 more men and wounding 13 others.

The entire area was broken, shredded and torn apart. The earth upheaved, it was as though....the great war had returned in earnest. The enemies began to flee before them....and it was clear as the allies cheered gleefully, letting out roars....that victory was theirs this day.

If one could call it that.

Eye powering down, Edward grinned and sighed, giving a small salute to the battlefield as he stood from his throne.

"Everything I dreamed it would be and more. Thank you for your contributions, and your sacrifices. We'll see each other soon."

He vanished in thin air.

Leon's eyes would be wide in horror, mouth left a gape at the blood and flesh on his cheek. His skin even more pale if you could imagine that... He shook before reaching up to wipe it off.

"... Ew..."

And then utter depression. The enemy in full retreat and all he got to do was throw some axes. He turned to his men and called out.

"Bonus round! Moving targets are worth seven hundred and fifty points. Winner gets control of the district for a month."

Mathew pulls out a cigar for a good smoke as he pets his Pup.

She pulled arrows from her body and groaned.

They'd heal by the end of the day. So she'd not worry much about that... But she was glad that meant she wasnt going to spend Moore infirmary time. Just a bit of sleep.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey blinked at the shield went up around her, grateful for the boost as the enemy fled. For now, it seems. She looked around for familiar faces. she ran her fingers through her hair, her hand going to the pouch where Krane's headdress was safely stowed.

It seemed her first meeting with the god of the underworld was going to be...unpleasant.

"Thank you, Jackal." She'd trade weapon for flowers, stowing them as well, her shirt more crimson than the subdued green it hand once been.

So this was war.
