"It's wrong." She looked at her hands as the lines of blood faded from her skin. Lines where the glow of energy should have been.

Wasn't it?

"It has to be. Why?” She was almost mumbling to herself, the swirling aura growing most prominent around her hands. Her legs felt numb and heavy, almost as though they were dragging her down to the ground.

She needed to see it again. Her gaze fell on Mathew, trying to focus on him as she reached for another scalpel, eyes narrowing as blood red lines continued to form along her hands and arms like spiderwebs sliced along her skin as her smile returned with a gleam in her eye.

"But you already saw that," A miasma of the swirling energy grew out stronger than before,breaking free and hurling itself at Mathew!  Her arms were shaking from the strain, sweat beading and dripping from her forehead and down her neck.

Zero Ability: Drawing on the surrounding energy, Bailey can now apply 1/4 of her energy level towards a target's chosen stat. At this stage, her buffs only last for one post.

Ability #1: Due to her growing experience, Bailey's buffs are more stable. She can add +6 to a target's stat.

**Unlocked** Chaos Energy: the purest form of destruction. Bailey is able to fire chaos energy from herself doing 150% her energy in damage. If there are Qi defenses in the way the chaos energy dismantles it and Pierce's items doing damage as if the target only has it's base Def stat.

He held his defenses, confident on being able to take another that she dished out. And it was with some surprise when her power shifted and went through his defense. It didn't break it, his armor still where it was, unharmed and untouched, rather the attack went through his defense like it wasn't even there. His flesh sizzling and burning under the stone that normally kept it safe.

Rather than cry out in pain his eyes narrowed in annoyance. It was to be one of those powers. Chaos energy by his guess, something that was constantly shifting and adapting to phase through other Qi signatures. Very rare. And very dangerous, to those that it is used against, and those that use it.

"Your body is producing energy that you are not equipped to handle."

He would say as he drove the spikes deeper up her leg. Still pushing her to see what she would do next.

"Either your body or mind will break from it if you continue as you are."

Though he didn't seem concerned about that. Now that he knew what it was, he could adapt.

She grit her teeth and hissed as the spikes were driven further into her legs. His voice seemed far away, underwater as the world spin and her breathing came in sharp gasps.  Blood lines continued to form along her body as she struggled for control.

"How...?"  Energy she wasn't equipped to handle. It made sense, was something she clung to before letting out a weak laugh of disbelief and collapsing, unconscious, to the ground.

He would answer her. But she passed out from the pain. Cabal might think this one had come far, and maybe she had. But this proved just how green she still was, and how far she still had to go. It would not surprise him if she ended up ground to dust before the cogs of war that had begun to turn. She would hardly be the first to be chewed up and spit out by Cabal, the Dragons, the Gods, or War.

But, he was playing nice. So he'd take her back and put her with the other wounded. After all, he'd hate for Loki to die too.
