[Mathew Amtrum]

"Not just him, but precious few. The fewer people that know a secret the safer it is."

For everyone.

[Leon]

"Well he never gave you up. He never responded to be honest, but he never gave you up is the point I would think."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"If he had, I imagine he wouldn't have told me in the first place. But it is appreciated."

He'd say with a small smile. Good friends were hard to come by, and Leon was the closest he ever got to that.

"I assume the dark cloud on the roof is your Father? Did you wish to join me?"

[Leon]

Karen would nod.

"Yes, it's the easiest place to survey the battle field. I will actually be heading out. I think a hunting trip will level my emotions out."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I wish you well Karen. It is good to see you again."

And in a way, it was very comforting.

"I suspect we will see more of each other in the future."

And with that, he'd head further inside, opting to slam his foot into the ground to lift himself up to the roof with a stone platform rather than take the stairs.

"Hector..."

[Leon]

Hades would be standing on the roof now, his cloak wrapped around the soul of Krane that seemed resting in a blissful sleep. Hector would turn to look at Mathew, his face one of pain.

"Mathew... It is good to see you old friend."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I regret it's not under better circumstances."

He'd say, stepping onto the roof.

[Leon]

"As I'm told, and witnessed through his soul memory, he fought bravely. Without a God Right he stood as a leader. I couldn't be more proud. But he is still my son and the pain is great."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I've felt no pain greater."

[Leon]

Hades would let that sit for a moment, looking to his peacefully sleeping soul.

"I have had a gift for you... You may decide if you wish to accept it. It could be more torturous than helpful, but I suppose it is only right you are allowed to speak one last time to your family. Give final goodbyes and resolutions. I can summon their souls here for this purpose..."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I might take you up on that when I have the soul of their killer within my grasp."

He'd say, remembering Hades himself was on the list given to him.

"Whomever they may be."

[Leon]

Hector would nod at the response.

"Would you be surprised to hear I have the man responsible already in my grasp?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I would."

[Leon]

Krane would roll over grumbling, and Hector would watch silently for a moment. Waving a hand the soul of a normal looking man would appear. He was somewhat older with some grey hairs mixed in with his reds. He wore glasses and was tortured, skittish, but accepting of his problems.

"This man died of suicide. Admitted to the conspiracy of killing your family."

Mathew would actually recognize him as one of the scientists he worked with under Barker during his time in the correctional facility.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Why? Why kill yourself and why kill them and not me?"
