[Leon]

Hades would take a breath.

"She is from our territory so familiarity is one thing, and Her training here has apparently been through many advances with mutations, and the like, missions and all good scores."

Hector shrugged.

"Good scores a God does not make. She must hold the kindness, aterness, and awareness of thought to hold that role. John Summers thinks she has those qualities."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Kindness?"

He'd ask with an arched eyebrow. He'd not have used that word to describe himself, and he was a God.

[Leon]

Hector would nod.

"The person must match the God, Ares. Your position, my position, other such similar positions do not need kindness. This one, like Artemis, like Dionysus, like Aphrodite. Judge her to be Apollo, not Ares."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"It depends on the interpretation of the lore. But I will not look at her as I would Ares."

[Leon]

"If we fill the seat, it will make things simpler. It can be done without, but it may require... Sacrifices."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I promise I will give her an honest and fair shot."

He'd go in with an open mind. At least.

[Leon]

"That is enough for me."

This would be new, his first time testing someone for Godhood. It is weird since he went out of his way to claim his throne.

"How are Pandora and Dion doing? I am assuming they did not join you and Karen?"

[Leon]

Hector took a drag from his cigar and paused at the question.

"Pandora is over seeing the Artemis trials in my stead. Dion was already here, sharing some knowledge of Qi effects with a young class of trainees. Hoping to teach him some humility."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Any front-runners for Artemis?"

[Leon]

"There are some stand outs, though until the hunt ends we won't have any definitive answers."

Hector would mention blowing smoke from his mouth. Hades figured Mathew must not wish to speak with his family since the subject has been... Avoided.

"I hear you have had contact with this... Prota group Cabal will be competing with soon."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I have. They seem to be run by our old friend John Strike. And I ran into a unit of them when I was out on a mission. I drove them off and sent them running with their tails between their legs, and now they are here with grievances."

From what he understood at least. He didn't get to sit in on the talks.

"I suspect it is going to come to war games, and it wouldn't surprise me if a few of the Cabal cadets eat it."

[Leon]

"Hmph."

Hector responds to the comment.

"Any stand outs?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Bailey Blake will likely live. She has grown strong and has Loki guiding her. John Summers is another that I believe will survive the ordeal and likely continue to rise in power. Perhaps one day rivaling myself. There are plenty that have ability, what I believe will hold some back is the lack of killer instinct. To be decisive. I am unsure how many of them realize how deadly such contests can be."

[Leon]

Hector would raise a brow.

"The boy from Zack's little group of illuminati wannabe's?"
