((OoC: Mouse first ^_^))
There’s nothing better than a nice walk through the local park on a warm sunny Saturday afternoon… except on where people weren’t walking their dogs. What a sight it would be to watch a man of about eighteen walking with a young girl of eight and every time a large dog passed the man seems to hide behind the girl. In truth, if you knew the man… it would make more sense. Sky had always been terrified of dogs, though in the past he had become able to tolerate smaller dogs, big dogs scared the living daylights out of him. After a good ten minutes Sky needed to rest and stop himself from going complete ballistic after passing a woman walking three German Shepherds. Needless to say Reia thought they were just the coolest dogs she had seen all day but knew asking for one would be pointless.
The two sat on a bench as Sky tried to relax without going for his cigarettes. He hated smoking around her and avoided it whenever necessary, plus this was a good bit of therapy for trying to get over his fears. The Englishman spread his arms across the back of the bench as he crossed his legs before him, blue gazed up into the clear sky. Beside him, Reia sat back gazing upward the same as her adopted father, her own legs dangling ideally off the bench.
“So… what are we gonna do next?”
“Oh… that’s up to you, dear.”
“Hmm… can we get… ice cream?”
“Ice cream? Ok… just let me rest a bit more.”
“~Awww~ … is daddy scared? Hehe.”
“Ahem… may I remind you, young lady, that you’ve had your own fears?”
“Yeah but that was years ago.”
“Oh? So you aren’t scared of the Grinch anymore?”
“Nope!”
The little girl turned with a self-assured smile. The Englishman chuckled lightly as he glanced at her, it had always amazed him she was how she was. When he thought back to the night they first met, how could she not be severely traumatized? He tilted his head back again with a relaxed sigh, she was a strong one alright.

After the scare with Keith, M.A.P. had moved herself to a new location- being careful to keep her sunburned arm covered and constantly taking breaks for water, not just for her put the pembrooke welsh corgi whom was ever devout in his followings of his master and ward.
M.A.P. sighed softly, taking a long drink from the closest water source, getting an odd look from several people- they acted as if they had never seen anyone drink from the same water ducks floated in. Herlong raven hair askew and dirty, M.A.P. finally stood just as Honcho's ear pricked up. A cool gust of air, a refreshing a kind one among the heat of the day, she exhaled softly as Honcho scented the air.
Taking off like a shot, Honcho gave a howl of excitement and sped past anyone and anything which would be considered in his way. M.A.P. blinked, shouted, "Honcho? Honcho, wait for me," running after him as he went under a german shepard, over a shitzu, and through a group of dogs. Each of which M.A.P. eaisily stepped around or herself leapt over- hoping to catch up with her only friend in this city.
Cookies and dirt, tobacco and mint, scardy man, little girl. Little girl, little girl, little girl. Honcho's mind was a buzz with memoeries of the little girl who ised to slip him part of her meals under the table, would play countless hours of fetch, and would let him sleep on her warm and comfortable bed- even if she tried to smother him. Running at full speed, this little dirty puppy came to a dead stop and barked at the swinging feet of the little girl, the only little girl who smelled of cookies and dirt.
A few feet away, M.A.P. came to a stop, recognizing both the man and child- a shiver passed through her, throat tightening and arms shaking. It's them..honestly truely them...Mr. Sky and Miss Reia- but even now, she could not move any closer.

“Honcho!!! I missed you!”
Reia screamed in utter excitement as she hoped down and scooped the dog up in her arms. She started to giggled as she held the corgi tightly, it was obvious that she had missed the little dog. After all, she loved dogs and Honcho had been the only dog Sky had let stay with him, however his reaction wasn’t as… joyous. Since the Englishman had been staring up at the sky, he had not seen what kind of dog was running at him and doing all the barking. He finally started breathing again when Reia had screamed the dog’s name, remembering that it was the small puppy that Mouse had brought home…
“Wait a second…”
Quickly Sky stood and his eyes quickly fell upon the corgi’s owner. Needless to say, he was shocked for a moment. It was more from never knowing what had happened to her, one day she seemed to disappear without a word. There was also a bit from the fact that now Jyo, Kasumi, Mouse and himself had all arrived in Long Beach. Slowly he shook his head with a humored smirked, neither looked at to well, as if they had been living in the woods or something. He patted the little girl on the head so she looked up as well, a bright smile crossing her face as she set the dog down and took off toward Mouse. The young girl soon threw her arms around her old friend with unrestrained joy.
“Mouse! You’re back!”
The Brit’s reaction was less impulsive. He casually strode after Reia, all the while keeping an eye on the muddy dog that had found them. Sure he could tolerate the dog… as long as he didn’t have to walk it, feed it, water it, or… touch it. It was nightmarish enough to think about touching Honcho while he was clean… now he was filthy… Sky would probably start jumping on trash cans if the corgi came after him.

As soon as Honcho recieved his warm welcome- though seemingly eaisily left behind for that of his taller counterpart- Honcho walked over and sat close but not too close to the tobacco and minted man. Honcho rememred many a time where the man would start screaming or would panic- the distinct scent of year was something he had never forgotten from that man. Though the litle girl, cookies and dirt, always held an amount of affection for him. Honcho was one lucky puppy.
Stunned, shocked, paralyzed, M.A.P. stood perfectly still. The impact of the child against her legs and stomach made her head spin- she had missed them so much and here- here they were. The only people who had ever- her stability...dare she say 'family'. Blue violets shimmered brightly a sheen of water- threatening tears as she knelt down, wrapping her arms around Reia, forgetting about her own uncleanliness. Unable to find anywords, she simply hugged Reia.

Sky stared blankly at the little dog as it sat near him, why it had always seemed to like him he would never understand. He never did anything to or for it, nothing but the occasional ‘don’t you touch me’ stare. With a cautious stare, Englishman remained still for a while before giving a little nod for the dog to follow… it seemed smart enough that touching him was still off limits. Being the guy he was, there was no way he was going to let the two stay here, or even wherever they were, if they were is this condition… though he would need to clean his car later.
Still clinging tightly to Mouse, Reia had her own tears forming from joy. It had been awhile since she had felt she had that real family unit feeling with the departure of everyone. Of course Sky was legally her father and a good provider but his British upbringing had made him quite reserved in his emotions at times. The little girl just kept holding onto the young woman as though it all might be a dream of some kind and if she let go Mouse would vanish. Meanwhile Sky had made his way over, the dog probably following behind, though he never checked out of a slight fear. He smiled not wanting to interrupt the moment… or get himself dirty if possible.
“Well… you two look just as happy as can be. Not to mention you and Honcho look like you need a place to stay, Mouse… and a bath.”
The offer was made, as was a joke. Needless to say Reia was thrilled at the idea and hoped that Mouse and Honcho would be coming back with them.

M.A.P. slowly stood, rather than letting go of the little girl, she lifted Reia up with her. Unwilling to let go of this time- blue violets focused on Sky as his words sunk in. He was offering- telling her he had a place for her to stay. For her and Honcho to be apart of a family again- and not just some new family but the one which had been imprinted in her mind- the only people she had ever truly missed. In her own memory, as shattered, torn and faded as it was- they stayed as prominent in her mind as the simple fact of her being an amnesiac.
Honcho kept his distance from the blonde human, remembering that that particular human was more likely to send him flying with a kick than pet him. Shaking from nose to tail, Honcho stopped about three feet from the man, still being close but not close enough to completely unnerve him- Honcho gave a small whining yawn, his ears pricked up as he watched and listened- nose twitching to the scents of worry, fear, and a distinct scent of cookies and dirt being very vry happy. Honcho barked and wagged his tail.
Still holding Reia close, she bowed her head slightly, "Honcho and I would gladly accept such an offer, but we cannot stay where we do not work for our keep."

“You are a better cook than daddy is so everything is fine!”
Reia chirped excitedly before the Englishman could even thing about what Mouse had said. She placed her head comfortably on the young woman’s shoulder as she looked back at the very man she spoke with a playful grin. Of course, she was correct… Sky wasn’t exactly a master chef, or even capable of making very much of anything without screwing up. If it didn’t come with directions, he botched it someway. Glancing at the smiling girl, Sky chuckled lightly as he shook his head. Running his hand through his hair, the Brit eventually nodded in agreement.
“She’s right. I’m no cook… not to mention that she could use the company of you two with how busy I am at work. Save me a load on babysitters.”
With that, the Brit gestured toward the parking lot the was across the park from where they presently were. He had parked his Beamer there… they could get the Ice cream on the way home. From the corner of his eye, he noticed the dog sitting a few feet off, wisely giving him his proper distance. Smart dog.

Carrying Reia, not willing to put her down, M.A.P. followed the gesture- though made sure not to walk ahead to too far behind Sky. She tread lighting on what normally would be considered a tense situation, after her leaving last time- he seemed to hold no grudges. She was quietly glad, as she enjoyed the feeling of holding little Reia in her arms- M.A.P. though close to resembling a garbage can capable of movement. This fact seemingly unnoticed beyond a mild comment.
Honcho whined and followed, wagging his little tail as if he was worried about being left behind. Getting tangled in M.A.P.'s long unkept hair, Honcho huffed loudly and allowed her to drag him, she seemed not to notice the weight of him- having long lost her ring..or left it at the coat...or in that one garbage dumpster she had found all those wrapped burgers. She and Honcho had gotten rather sick- but that was besides the point.
M.A.P. could make a new ring, she knew the exact schematics to it- but she paused, kneeling down and untangling Honcho- who at the moment of freedom, sped from her hair, around Sky and straight to the veicle which smelled the most of both the tobacco man and the cookies and dirt girl. Hopping up and down, barking Honcho waited. M.A.P. stood and tilted her head to the side, "I think Honcho knows where we're going."

Arriving at the car, Sky turned off the alarm as the small creature known as Honcho sped around him and toward the car. That was something he was going to have to get used to… again. Needless to say that took a bit of words out of his mouth. With a quick breath and a shake of his head, he opened the passenger side door for the others before walking around to the drivers seat. He would eventually plunk himself down and buckle in once the others were settled.
But as Mouse bent down to get Honcho untangled, Reia hopped down and watched as the puppy voiced his excitement. She giggled and of course dragged Mouse by the hand over to the car before scooping up the puppy again. It was evident by her own actions that she was just as excited as the dog.
“Yep! We’re all going home!”
Being able to say that again made Reia immensely glad. Quickly she hopped into the backseat with the pup in her arms and buckled herself in. She would have to watch the dog to make sure he didn’t bother Sky while he was driving of anything of that sort. With that they would be all set to take off as soon as Mouse joined them. Of course, Sky had not forgotten about the promise of ice cream and would make sure to stop on the way home to get everyone their choice of the dessert. And by that it was really just Mouse and Reia, he didn’t like ice cream too much… and he was not getting to get the dog anything.

M.A.P. watched them all get into the car and stood outside of it for a long moment, before getting in and closing the door. Buckling in, she sat perfectly still. One of her biggest problems, the reason why she walked everywhere she went- was because she became incredibly car sick anytime she was in a car. She could be around them and be perfectly fine, but it was something about how a car moved..she could already feel the nausea building and they hadn't even gone anywhere.
The car started, her hands dug into her pant legs. Before she could even think of jumping out and promising to catch up soon, the car was moving and her empty stomach was already churning.
In the back, Honcho was sitting almost perfectly still. He liked car rides, alot actually. Cars took you places you wanted to go even faster than walking or running. Nuzzling under the little girl's chin, he whined softly- smelling the cautious worry in his ward and master's aura. Tilting his head to the side, ears twitching, he barked for her attention, but she gave him none.
Too focused on not getting sick, she slowly began to realize she was indeed becoming just that- sick. She could feel the stomach acid begin to curn, her salivary glands go into overdrive. She chose to distract herself- watching the other cars...until she closed her eyes only to open them again and focus intently on her hands. Almost like a child pouting but rather- in her case- focusing. Focusing very, very hard.
