Double Dog Dared (Bloodline Assignment)

[Leon]

Leon would put his hands on his hips, giving a goofy smile showing all his teeth. Beaming with the praise.

"You can do something even better, did you know that?"

[Tina Bennet]

"Yeah?" For a moment, she thought he meant the crystal she'd acquired, but the smile made her a little less wary as she rose up on her toes.

"How?" Big blue eyes watched him intently, like a cat on catnip who still new they had their mouse cornered. Her fingers were practically twitching in anticipation.

[Leon]

"Follow me."

Leon would find an even bigger rock than the one he blew up.

"I want you to put both your hands on the rock. I want you to channel as much energy as you can, over and over again, make the biggest bomb you have ever made, don't stop until you can't anymore."

Leon was going to have her push herself into using all of her Qi on a single large ass boulder.

[Tina Bennet]

Kind of made sense. Nodding Tina would place both hands on the rock, closing her eyes for a moment as she focused on it, then her own energy. It was like doubling up the explosive power without the wait, right? Or at least, not the same wait.

She doesn't worry about Leon getting hurt. He's an adult with powers. He can figure out his own limits.

After several minutes, sweat started to bead on her forehead as she continued to focus, forming the idea of a giant rock bomb in her mind and wanting to put everything in her to make it white hot and ready to boom!

[Leon]

"That's it. Push it further. Everything you have, dump it into the rock. If you don't you're gonna lose the game."

[Tina Bennet]

Tina continues to push, egged on by the taunt of losing! Her arms start to shake and she grits her teeth, pouring even more into the rock. It's more than she's ever given before, but people tend to avoid explosions. The rock was sitting there taking it, and about to become something beautiful.

It was gonna be a big boom-boom if she had anything to say about it. Even if her hand slipped a little from the sweat.

[Leon]

Tina can feel the drain, but there is also something else there. A feeling she isn't used to, hidden beneath the throngs of her usual energy. It would feel malicious.

[Tina Bennet]

Well that was new. Just as Tina swore she had given it her all, there was something else there. Malicious, but not out of place, either. She reached for it on instinct, intending to use whatever it was to do what she wanted and push it into the rock, too!

[Leon]

Tina would feel it ooze into the rock, Leon's own eyes would widen, seeing it, knowing it. He would rush to her, grab her and take the fuck off.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!"

They would get some ways before the rock exploded, causing a fire ball and mushroom cloud with a large flash of light behind them. Leon would dive into a ditch with Tina under his arm, keeping them low as the wind blew over them.

Tina's Bloodline!

Tina is capable of adding Radiation to her explosions. She can make clean or full on fallout blizzard scales of radiation. Clean radiations adds +25 to damage calculations of her bombs. Nuclear Fallout causes 1/2 her energy in damage to anyone in the area of 20 ft of the explosion for four posts.

[Tina Bennet]

"Hey! What's the big idea? I was try to make it blow up." Tina looked back at the rock she'd been working with, struggling against Leon until he got them into the ditch for cover. She got full view of hte explosion and the mushroom cloud until then.

Then the winds blew over them, and Tina stopped. The teenager actually froze and dind't move for several seconds, more still than she was even in her sleep. After several seconds passed, she started giggling.

[Leon]

After everything was said and done Leon would stand upright, letting Tina get up if she wanted to, she apparently fell into a fit of giggles.

"Guess you win, Tina."

[Tina Bennet]

The giggles stopped as she got up, flouncing to take in the damage she'd done as she shielded her eyes with her hand.

"Yup!" Definitely not her usual explosion. "So what was that, anyway?"

[Leon]

Leon would hold up a hand for a high five. If she accepted it or not he would speak after.

"That, is your Blood. A power hidden in your ancestry. Basically your great, great, great, great grandparents, or beyond; could do this. Now you can."

Leon would shrug looking around and watching things. He would yawn, and then start biting his right thumb nail.

"You know, it takes some time to find family members of people who generally don't keep or have records."

Leon commented out loud.

"However, seeing someone doing something that only you can do because of your family generally is a tell tale sign."

He wasn't talking to Tina anymore.

[Tina Bennet]

Tina takes the high five, jumping up to be able to reach his hand with her own. Rocking back on her heels, she continued to listen to the explanation that seemed to be for her. A long, long time ago, who knew from what side. But it was there, which meant she came from really cool people.

"Then how'd you find out?" She hopped from one foot to the other as she spoke, frowning when Leon seemed to be talking to someone she couldn't see.

"So...like my dad?"

[Leon]

Leon would turn to Tina and nod.

"Your dad maybe, but I found out because my eyes are special. They let me see a butt load of really cool shit. Wanna see?"
