Filling the quiver (Leon)

[Blake Oleander]

He would follow trying to decide if she was being literal when she said he could rip out souls. And what exactly that meant.

[Leon]

They would find a large gate acting as the rib cage of a giant skeleton creature wearing a hood. It carried a death scythe like Blake had with Dante, and the door its self was closed. It stood vigilant and its eyes dark chasms of nothing. At the base stood a tall male with black hair, a cloak, and pale blue eyes, next to him was a man not as tall, but with the head and legs of a jackal. Opposite the Jackal headed man was a much larger male in dark black armor and golden trimming. He stood with his arms folded, near seven and a half feet tall. Blake would however recognize the translucent spirit staring at the gate. It was Krane in his golden armor, with both arms and both eyes perfectly fine. Diana would point to each before they got too close.

"The cloaked man is Hades, the jackal is Anubis, and the tall man is Thanatos."

[Blake Oleander]

Blake would nod silently at the knowledge of who was who. He would stand to the side at a respectful distance for the moment. He knew Hades was Krane's Dad, and he didn't want to interrupt what could be a final moment between them.

[Leon]

Anubis' large ear would twitch and he would turn to look, spotting Diana and interrupting himself he would turn to them. Hades ignored them for a few moments, as Thanatos turned and Krane decided to walk over.

"Blake."

Krane spoke addressing him, this caused Hades to turn finally and acknowledge their existence.

"Lords of Death and Fear. I present Blake Oleander, current leader and Elder over Territories 63 and 64."

Krane would nod.

"He was also a grand combatant." adding to it.

Anubis would give a curious bow, Thanatos would fold his arms and nod. Hades would simply stare.

[Blake Oleander]

Blake would step forward, pressing his fist against his chest and bowing his head as was proper when dealing with people of authority. He'd give Krane himself a nod as he brought his hand away like a small salute. He had been an honorable warrior.

"Thank you."

He'd say to Krane before addressing the Lords of Death.

"I wish to extend the condolences of me and my people for the Death of Krane. He fought and led with honor."

[Leon]

Hades eyes would drift to Blake's own eyes, trying to read him. Thanatos would tilt his head tot he side and leave this alone. Anubis and Krane shared a quick fist bump.

"As you say Blake Oleander. Your condolences are accepted and appreciated. I feel you do not seek me in such a formal way to simply pass on well wishes."

[Blake Oleander]

"No Sir. We wished to discuss terms to foster a relationship between our peoples. The accords are breaking and I believe war will continue to spew from the cracks of these fractured agreements. My people are small, and I would do them a disservice if I did not try to get ahead of it."

He'd glance to Krane's specter before back to the God's of Death.

"I understand if right now is not the time for terms, but I would like to arrange a meeting at the very least. Between you three or whoever would be in a position to discuss such things."

[Leon]

Krane would interrupt this time.

"Actually, before the battle broke out, I was going to discuss this very thing with you, Father."

Hades nods.

"Our business will take quite some time yet, as Krane has decided to revive, so we must wait for his vessel to be constructed."

Hades explained, Thanatos would walk to the gate and stare, as he didn't feel this involved him.

"What kind of, relationship are you requesting. Trade? Knowledge? Protection?"

Anubis would ask.

[Blake Oleander]

"Trade and knowledge. I would welcome additional soldiers if needed. But I am not approaching as a supplicant. I come looking to make an agreement as equals. To contribute as well as receive."

He didn't want charity.

[Leon]

Anubis would continue speaking.

"In trade and knowledge we have much to offer, what would be the deal you seek?"

[Blake Oleander]

"Right now we have little in the way of material wealth to trade. But our people are skilled craftsmen. I would request aid in rebuilding our homes after the devastation that has wrecked it so that we may start production again. In return, I would be willing to help answer questions you may have."

[Leon]

They all seemed confused by this one.

"Answer our questions... What does that mean?"

[Blake Oleander]

He'd turn to Virgil.

"What did Lord Anubis have for breakfast today?"

[Leon]

"Lord Antonio 'Anubis' Fernando ate pancakes with an unnatural amount of butter this morning."

Anubis mouth hung open and Krane covered his mouth to stifle a laugh. Hades would give Anubis a glance from the corner of his eye, while Thanatos lost his shit, laughing loudly.

"Y-yes, well... Butter is a nice addition to pancakes."

Hades pondered his question for a moment.

"The man whom killed Krane said he worked for masters. I want the name of the one responsible."

[Blake Oleander]

He nodded.

"I too would like that."

Krane was one of the few people Blake liked at Cabal. He'd turn toward Virgil again.

"What is the name of the Master of the man that killed Krane. Who is responsible for the attack that led to his death?"
