Avice felt tye scaring quite a and she thought this should end quicker than she wanted it too.

Putting away her sword she remained in air and with her metal hand she pulled out her pistol and infused it with qi. But not just her own she saw the diamond in her arm glitter and she called upon it and doubling her shots potency. firing at Rozalin first in the leg and the other at weaker shot at Preston in the shoulder. She wasnt a bully if he was less able to take it, but she also doesn't chose favorites.

"I bet you have" pistol - Avice gets an energy pistol that, when gripping the hilt, allows her to infuse her energy into the weapon and fire energy bolts at her enemies up to her energy in damage.

Title gained: "Ghost of Paul Revere" - Avice warned her allies man times throughout the battle, and thus gains a permanent +1 to every stat.

Vampiric Knight: Avice has unlocked the cape of the Vampire Knight. All Qi moves are considered Vampiric, while active, healing Avice for 1/2 the damage she does to others be it physical or Qi. The cape also allows Avice to flout or glide without needed to touch the ground, levitate if you will.
Note: Drinking blood now actually regenerates wounds halving recovery time.

Diamond of a Thousand roughs, MYTHIC ITEM **May not be upgraded, traded or sold** - Avice finds herself connecting with the diamond on an intense level, and would feel like she jumped into a pool of untold amounts of energy. Avice has a pool of 1000 energy stored within the stone. Once per post, Avice may take up to her energy from this stone, stacking it on top of her own energy. She may also pass on a Qi use, adding 1/2 her energy into the stone up to 1,000 max energy. Once per thread, she may take 300 energy and heal herself fully with it.)

Since Avice was out of reach currently, she was spared the sudden backlash energy bolt damage that shot down out of the sky from Prestons Qi scar. The blast smashed into him as his sword hit the battlemage harshly. It lifted him up, throwing his flopping body backward to smash through the wall of the stone tomb Preston made. Blood spurted from his mouth as he felt three ribs crack, cuts opening on his face and chest.

Laying in the rubble of the stone tomb, he was out cold.

He'd take his own shot since his water shield would protect him as he'd throw another one up over Roz!

Well, that was one down. Roz looked from John's body to Preston with a glance and a grin before turning her attention to Avice.

"Now then, where were we?" She darted towards the woman, testing to see if her speed would continue.

It was suddenly two against one and she used her burst speed ability to back up from the scarificating mess she honestly couldn't take much more given the damage she already suffered. She'd touch the ground firm and let go of her active Qi tricks.

With that her hands were in the air.

"Oi... I surrendar to ya me friends. Good show, formidable foes ya'd make. A bit intense for what I thought trainin' would be and I'd like to keep me good parts intact to serve ya a good strong ale later." she shrugged with a grin and bowed to the two of them.

Burst Speed: A set distance to be quarter mile per 10-speed points. Can have a drawback as it will use a lot of Energy. Rest between bursts will be needed. The Qi will cycle through her body sending all motor and mental functions hyperactive to a point time might have seemed to slow and getting ahead of your opponent would be a tactical advantage. 75% speed boost to speed count.

Preston didn't press the attack! And the scar would slowly start to fade away from around him. The mana returning to a dormant state.

"May I be so bold as to offer you an analysis, Miss Locke?"

"I'll take you up on that drink before long," Roz said with a chuckle as she sheathed the sword, stepping towards Avice once more before turning to Preston. Her body stung from the damage she'd taken from the qi scar, but at least she'd been able to move away from it quickly enough. Preston had certainly been busy of late to learn something like that.

[Avice Locke]

She shrugged to Preston. "Analysize away, but only if ya ne'er call me Mrs. Locke again. I not be that old."

She held a thumbs up towards Rozalin. "I'll be within ear shot."

[Preston Salabim]

"Noted."

He'd say, adjusting his glasses, the lens flashing in the light.

"You lost the fight the moment you opted to not help Mr. Downing from the stone Gaol I had summoned. Opting to go for a two against one strategy is rarely in your favor. Especially when you lack the element of surprise."

[Avice Locke]

Her eyes narrowed to him and she pressed her lips in a thin line as hands rested on her hips. He spoke complex words but she knew what he was saying. "Hm... I be sure sacraficin' the safety of yar partner to gain the upper 'and be much better. I was called here ne'er did I agree to work with 'im. I refuse to partner with anyone." She tossed a hand over the shoulder amd decided to walk off without another word to Preston.

Rozalin raised a brow as Avice gave a very nettled response and shook her head. Something had crawled up the other woman's backside, it seemed.

"Where did you learn that, anyway?" she asked, turning her attention to Preston. "Last I knew, I was the one with the damage streak." She smirked a little, nudging John with the toe of her boot to see if he was out cold or not. She wasn't in the mood to play special delivery to the infirmary again.

Her words might have struck more of a nerve if he didn't spend most of his time shielding his partner from damage. He'd just quirk an eyebrow at her. Some people couldn't take criticism. Even when they explicitly give permission for it. Well, there was nothing to be done about people like her. He'd not concern himself with it.

"I didn't... That is the first time I've seen that happen."

It was concerning. He would have to get to the bottom of it.

"Really?" Her brows rose, even if one was hidden. That in itself was new, coming from him. Still, life hardly continued on without surprises. She shrugged.

"Well then, for now I'll have to keep it in mind in case it happens again." Stepping away from John, she'd step over to Preston like the other man wasn't even there.

"Anything else you're for while we're here?"

"I'm not sure. Was there anything else you wished to do or talk about?"

"I'm down for anything." She shrugged. "I know we both have things we're working on, but getting out of here for a bit doesn't sound bad, either."
