He'd take a deep slow breath at her question. It was to be expected he supposed. And it was one he should start getting used to.
"I am... trying to re-examine my beliefs. It has been shown to me that my view on people like you... Like us. Was flawed. It is a challenge to face your closest held beliefs. And some days are easier than others. But I have made a conscious decision to try and look at everyone as an individual. Qi or no Qi."
Then she asked about her looks and that just sent an eyebrow up.
"Uh... You look fine? It wasn't your looks I judged you or anyone on. It was simply that we had our powers and what we were taught that represented."
God, he felt he was talking too much. How were words not just tangled in his mouth from all this talking!?

"I see." she held a soft smile. "Then I worried for nothing." she didnt need this peachy skin to do these things. If from the beginning it was like this then she was silly to have let it stop her.
She looked up at him again seeing a slight discomfort in his jaw and shoulders, but mostly in his eyes. She caught herself and cleared her throat.
"Well, I am not sure I can tell you how happy I am to have told you the truth about myself and all. It is good to finally meet you face to face. A lots been placed on your shoulders but I can tell you've adapted far better than you might believe." He's changed in his short time here while Oni has been around for years and has wished for her lot to remain modestly the same. She needed to adapt better as well. "Suppose I'll be seeing you around?"

"I thank you for your kind words."
He said with a small bow of his head.
"I suspect you will not. My people and I will be leaving to rebuild our home within the week. So unless your business takes you to our lands, this may be the last time we meet for some time."

Not quite what she meant but suppose it held the same purpose. His usual stone tones were a matter of fact and logic. She understood.
With a simple wave she'd finally let him go. "Good luck to you then."

"Thank you, to you as well."
And with that he'd leave!
