OOC- join if you want.
The rain was falling again as it had done earlier in the day. The dark clouds hung heavy over the bus stop that Yzal was standing at. It wasn't just a slight drizzle but that of a major downpour. Yzal's forward leaning hair was matted down on the top of his head with small water droplets falling from the dark strands. Yzal's orange eyes weren't their exuberant bright orange that they usually were. No, instead they were like that of a endless void leading no where. Just staring out toward the empty street waiting for bus to take him to his next destination.
His grey shirt was soaked and currently sticking close to his body. His light blue pants were a dark blue hue was making it difficult to walk. But Yzal's mind wasn't on his shirt, jeans, or the fact that he was standing there alone in the rain without a umbrella at the front of the park.
The rain just put him in a down mood and made him think of things he never wanted to think about. Yzal couldn't remember much from when he was a kid, but whenever it rained he just closed up on the inside. It was like a part of him reacted to it, and in turn just felt so...depressed, if thats what you would call it. Yet he never knew why it made him feel like that. It just did.
Hands in his pocket, Yzal couldn't even release a sigh, like he normally did when he was down. His eyes glanced to the left, looking down the street searching for a pair of headlights that weren't there. It seemed that he was going to be there awhile.

I am so glad I wore my coat.
-- My glasses were fogged, long hair was matted on my head, and I was positively drenched. Though glad I brought my coat, I wish I had had an umbrella. What I regretted more was the fact that I had walked to the blasted park in the first place. Walk home in this rain? About a mile or so? Dern it…
-- Walking quickly, I managed to, if barely, trace my steps to one of the park’s entrances/exits, and taking my leave of the area. And at that moment, I decided to splurge a bit. Maybe take a cab or a bus home?
And there’s a bus stop over there. How dandy. If only it was one with a little roof…
-- One quiet sigh later, I stepped towards the bus stop, glancing for a second at the other person there. So I wasn’t the only one out here without any protection from the vile droplets of water.
“… Wet, ain’t it?”

Yzal's eyes, which had been focused on the street, quickly turned toward the silver haired boy. Seeing that it was nothing to really get riled over, his eyes slowly moved back their former positions on the street. Honestly, Yzal didn't expect to see another soul during this downpour, but it wasnt like there weren't other people roaming the park as he was.
"Yea...it is.." Yzal said while giving his head a slow shake to the boy's comment. "It doesnt look like the bus is coming any time soon just so you know...."
Yzal had been waiting there for a good twenty minutes. Buses usually ran within ten minutes of each other. Being ten minutes late, Yzal was starting to wonder if the bus was even coming.

-- I let out another quiet sigh, adjusting the trench coat with was by now heavy with the water that had soaked in. My right hand moved to remove my glasses, and I did my best to defog them, and at the same time, made a vain attempt to get the water off of the lenses. “Well, if it doesn’t come, there’s always a cab, right?” ((ooc: I hate my writer’s block ><;; )

" Yes...yes there is." Yzal said idly while keeping his eyes narrowed straight ahead. This was truly unsettling. The way this guy was dressed reminded him of one of those vampire movies that he had seen. It would take place on a rainy night like this one, and the victim would be standing there, like Yzal was, and a silver haired man dressed in a long sweeping coat would come...like this guy was.....and then....then.....he would STRIKE!
Yzal shook his head lightly, thinking that what he was even considering couldn't even be classified as a rational thought. In spots where the street was lower then at others, large pools of water started to form.
Was flooding even possible here? He didn't know, but how was calling a cab possible. Yzal hadn't seen a phone in a park, and he hadn't had a cell phone on him. His only means of transportation was this bus that seemingly had abandoned him when he needed it most.
~'man....this day is turning out to be such a downer...'~ He thought while let out a sigh which appeared as a slight fog in the cold rain.
