"The Demon?"

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey offered Mitsoumi a small smile out of habit at this point as she gave a tiny nod.

"We believe so." She stopped and looked at Barker at the introduction. This was literally the man she had been advised about by Mathew, among other things. Her gaze went over him again, not quite sure how to address the situation, but polite seemed best for someone who could ruin our day...or life.

"Likewise."

[Sean Barker]

Mitsoumi would smile.

"That's good. It's a bad idea to spend too much time in there."

Barker would open his mouth to speak, pointing at Blake.

"That's... A..."

He'd stop and kind of look tot he side raising an eye brow.

"Slightly rude thing to say."

Mitsoumi would turn to Blake and speak.

"Please refrain from being rude to Sean. Baby Bailey would be upset if we made too much noise."

[Blake Oleander]

"Bailey is used to it."

He'd take a step forward.

"What are you doing here?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"True." Again, agreeing with Mitsoumi, though Barker speaking up caught her attention more as he was unable to defend himself against the title he had acquired. Her gaze went from one man to another as they commented on a baby Bailey and that she was apparently used to being upset.

Then her gaze went back to Barker, and the swaddled bundle in his arms.

"I didn't realize that was such a popular name here."

[Sean Barker]

Mitsoumi would shake a finger.

"Now, now. I asked you first."

Barker would hold a hand out at Mitsoumi in response to Blake's question.

Barker would look at Bailey.

"Ah, yeah. Baby Bailey keeps getting dropped on my door step when her guardians are busy with their stuff."

[Blake Oleander]

Blake glares at them.

[Bailey Oleander]

Well, at least no one's killing each other yet. That's good, all things considered.

"I see." She blinked, still feeling odd that someone was referring to another person with her name. The kiddo was small enough that it reminded her of Sil and Kirin's kid, the last people she'd been around with someone that small other than possibly some of Blake's villagers.

She's also not entirely sure if she should trust the fact that the baby's guardians were leaving them with Barker. It was disquieting. She shook her head, clearing out the thought to refocus on why they were here in the first place.

"I suppose that makes sense. You seem to be used to babysitting duty, whoever her guardians are."

[Sean Barker]

Mitsoumi stares back with a stupid grin on his face waiting for Blake to explain. Barker would also ignore Blake for now.

"I've helped raise quite a few children."

He would shrug before sighing.

"We are here looking for something to help figure out a mystery."

[Blake Oleander]

"Which is?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"I suppose I'll have to trust in your parenting skills, then." It was safe to bet it was Mathew, given how few people seemed to have actual connections to the infamous Sean Barker. The lack of names was fine with her. Bailey's gaze went to the rubble that Mitsoumi had been digging through at the mention of mysteries, and shrugged, turning her attention back to Barker.

"That seems reasonable." Meanwhile, Blake promoting further.

[Sean Barker]

Barker would shake his head and address Blake.

"A little quid pro quo would be appreciated, your negotiation tactics are very... Unrefined."

Mitsoumi would shrug, if Sean wanted answers before giving his own so be it, but he was supposed to be digging. So he would go over and begin moving rubble again.

[Blake Oleander]

"Doesn't matter much, we have our own business here."

He'd turn away from Barker, the Bailey, and the other guy to start moving toward where Virgil had pointed them.

[Bailey Oleander]

She watched Blake head back to where they were headed as Mitsoumi went back to digging. She would nod with a polite expression at Barker and the baby both.

"Next time you see him, please feel free to pass on our regards to Mr. Amtrum." She would step back a couple paces before turning to follow after Blake.

[Sean Barker]

Mitsoumi would wave as they left, huge exagerated body movements.

Barker would give a nod.

"Will do. Be careful around here, Zack was... An eccentric kind of guy."
