Rozalin sighed as the armor came into place, giving Preston a look that was almost a pout. The girl either meant it, which was possible since she couldn't judge qi. Hers was, after all, from a sentient eye patch. Still, she could simply be eager to impress or something else.
"Well, you'll have a hard time proving it now, girl."

Her eyes were wide.

The one with the titties was right, how was she supposed to die now?!
"I-it's okay! I die a lot! You don't have to worry! I'm fine with it!" she half pleads because lord knows she's desperate. Desperate enough to be unconcerned with the setting.

She felt a tear gather at the back of her eye. Thinking of people dying brought back memories or Krane. She wasn’t ready to relive that.

What is happening?!
She smiles just a little bit, somewhat feeling mixed emotions. On the one hand she can't really show them all what she can do. On the other, it's...nice...to hear people say they don't want to see her dead.
"Umm...it's purple..." she says softly, trying to search her mind for other ways to befriend them...even though small talk would PROBABLY be the best way.

The young brunette reminded Rozalin of a puppy in a way. Skittish and a bit prone to jumping at her own shadow, uncertain if hte hand held out ot her had a treat or was about to strike. From what the pirate saw, however, Rose had two perfectly nurturing people on hand to reasurre her all was well. Her own interest waned as the subject changed, letting Rose speak out about herself and and her own interests. It was apparent shed' be fine with them.
Turning her attention back to the shelves, Rozalin made her way among the aisles to where the most recently updated maps were kept, pulling out one for 259 and the surrounding territories and coast.
((Feel free to skip Rozalin for now. If she feels like chiming in, she will.))

She laughs a bit awkwardly but nods, not really sure how to continue small talk like this. To be honest it felt nice, but, she was still out of her element.
"So what is a library, anyway? It's so quiet..." she finally says, glancing around.
"It's pretty though. What are these?"
She clunks her way over to the books Preston had stacked, and picks one up, dangling it kinda carelessly as the pages flap down with the help of gravity.

MelNie tapped her [good] for about three times and then nodded once.
“Ok. Well. Glad everything here is solved. I’m gonna go and be somewhere that’s not here. Ok. Bye.”
She’d give a small wave and depart the library.

Rose looks at him slightly confused as he takes it from her, before tilting her head.
"No...not really. There's little paper things that you'd find on the ground sometimes that looked like it, I think..."
Pamphlets or letters that were dragged there by the wind, mostly.
"We don't have much where I'm from..."
