He didn't really know what to make of the blades from the heart that people had received earlier today. Part of him wondered if he should have tried for one himself. Given what he'd seen the power could come in handy. But he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about them. Even though the ones that died are still alive, he couldn't shake that feeling. The other shoe would drop.
But it was a problem for another time. The fabric of their world was threatening to rip and destroy everything they'd ever known. Not only his home was at risk, but the security of the territories at large. It was part of the reason staying connected would be important, and ensuring he had a means to do so. That is why he was back here right now. More than anything, he needed to anchor his mana to Cabal so that should the need arise he can get them back here. An escape should the worst happen.
