[Blake Oleander]

Blake would wait for his return since Bailey was having a private moment with her mom.

Bailey nodded, glancing at the motion from the corner of her eye to see her step father leaving, but turning her attention back to her mother without comment.

"And if one of us might need to know what those were?" Meaning any of her father's children or other generations.

[Leon]

Her mother would think on that for a minute.

"I am not sure. What he shared was his DNA, I can send it to your personal work tool and you can take that with you."

[Bailey Oleander]

"Thanks, Mom. I'll let you know what I find." She nodded, hoping that what she would be something that could be used to help her siblings as well as herself. Just in case.

She nodded to Blake, who was waiting patiently for them to finish. She woudln't know more without taking time they didn't have right now, but she would definitely make sure to bring her work tool with her.

Blake acknowledged the nod but remained where he was with arms folded.

[Leon]

Bailey's step-dad would return.

"There aren't many who will be ready to leave for a few hours, but they are our best scouts, and a couple technicians. Check the place out, see whats viable for us."

[Blake Oleander]

He'd nod.

"Any who wish to stay will be welcome. I would like to utilize what you have here with what we have where I come from. This position is too defensible to give up completely."

Though it would mean he needed to set up a trade route between both locations and try to get the connecting territories on board. He'd glance back at Bailey to see if the ladies were done and if they wanted to give him the tour as a group, or if he should simply go on his own.

Bailey nodded in agreement, knowing there'd be more work if some stayed, but that there would surely be those who would want to. With the personal conversation ended and some of the workers already preparing, she stepped forward.

"In that case, why don't we show you what's here." Since he was planning to keep the defensive position, something they had been using to their advantage as much as they could. It would be better to know than to walk around and end up an unexpected guest with hostility or questions.

[Leon]

"I will no doubt be staying to make sure our machines at least don't fall into the wrong hands."

Bailey's step-father would say and would nod. At the request of being shown around.

"Ah, yes. I'd be happy to give a tour right this way."

She'd head for the door before stopping.

"Oh dear, where are my manners. I am Miriam and my husband is Jaco. How rude we must seem going into negotiate without average pleasantries."

[Blake Oleander]

Blake clasped a fist to his chest and bowed.

"I am Blake Oleander, Elder of Aurora. The slight is mine for not having introduced myself first."

[Bailey Oleander]

"It's mine, actually. I could have introduced you when we met." Bailey stepped around the complications of internalizing that thought and nodded in apology to the three.

She'd lead the way, walking past the machinery that greeted them when they came in, pointing out various machines and uses!  Once back towards the entrance, she nodded to a group of workers trying to catch their breath and recover.

"Those are some of our remaining mines," she would point out.  "We have some minerals left there, things like cobalt, but we're looking into a potential water source now."  Since Blake had been talkign to Jaco at the time she'd been speaking with her mother.  "If we're fortunate, we can probably filter out the salt, as well."  Buildings rose up in teh distance along with teh mountainside, including one that was almost white.

Blake followed in silence, listening and taking stock of what was here and available.

[Bailey Oleander]

"This is the hospital, as well." She would lead him inside the building, running over some of the more basic technology they used and what it did, since that would likely be incorporated in their territory, as well. She figured a great deal would remain here for now until it was decided who all would move and would stay permanently, and since it was likely they'd bring some with them, it was better to give him a small idea now. That also meant the territory would grow more.

There was about as much as expected from last time she had visited. A small school, as well, and buildings that were partially build into the mountains if they were important or could help survive a siege. The homes were decrepit compared to richer territories, but more than huts. She passed by the cemetery with barely a glance and no comment on it, focusing on what he would need to know as a leader of the people and what else they could bring.

She looked back at Blake as she spoke, willing to take comments or questions. They were near the entrance to another mine now, one of the few that still had minerals involved, but she'd wait before going that far.

"What is it we are lacking most here for those that choose to stay and continue industry with your setups?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"Food and water are our biggest needs until the underground is confirmed," she said without missing a beat. They'd seen much. "Some stone and lumber would be good, too, so we can repair the buildings we have and see what isn't able to be salvaged.

"We can supply ore, too. Some of the mines are still active. Right now, the basics are most important."
