[Blake Oleander]

"I will send word with a scout back at our camp to have a convoy bring what we can spare. We are one people now."

He'd nod as he did a mental calculation.

Miriam would nod.

"Our mining tunnels are also rather extensive, with multiple checkpoint camps and half way safe areas. It's possibly to stay in the tunnels for many hours at a time, possibly two or three days with supplies."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey would also nod!

"I'm sure we can get some updated maps of the tunnels, as well." Especially since it sounded like they'd already made some potential bursts of progress while she'd been away.

[Blake Oleander]

"How many of your people do you suspect will wish to stay here and work the mines versus how many would wish to transplant to the rest of Aurora?"

[Leon]

"I do not fore see many wishing to stay... It has been a harsh life, and the land its self holds many painful memories for many of the people here. There are also those rather dedicated to the work. I would say twenty to thirty would stay."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey would nod at the assessment. It sounded about right. There are those who were dedicated, though she fell in the former category. It did make her wonder where her family stood on the matter, and she glanced at her mother with a questioning look.

[Blake Oleander]

"That should be enough to hold this area. I will send some soldiers to instruct them in how we fight as well as to arm them. However, you will also find my people to be hard workers. We are not the type to shy away from honest labor."

[Leon]

Miriam would give Bailey a soft smile, and her chin pushed out with his chest a bit in pride. There was pain, but this was home.

"We will prepare appropriately for their arrival."

[Bailey Oleander]

It was enough. Bailey nodded in understanding, figuring as much. This was the place she'd known all her life until leaving for Cabal; doing so had opened doors for her. But this place would always be a part of her, no matter where she went.

[Blake Oleander]

"Other than the mines, is there anything of value I should know about? You mentioned sending something to a tool?"

Which was an odd statement? The confusion would be clear on his face.

[Leon]

Miriam would hold up a hand to show a bracelet with a crystal on it. Pressing the crystal it would shine light in front of her showing a projection that was slightly physical like a solid gas. She touched it and moved screens, images, documents, words, blue prints, family photos, all through it with quick swiping motions.

"This is the Tool I talked about. PT's or Personal Tools are an invention made in Cabal, but we made it better."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey nodded with a bit of pride showing through the small tilt of her lips, letting Miriam explain without interruption. Hers had been left at home when she left, for obvious reasons. Traveling through multiple territories with would have wound up with it stolen and who knows what for her own condition.

"Do we still have one of the earlier models, or one Cabal sent?" If he wanted to look, this was the place to do it. Taking one from Cabal itself would just make things worse.

Well, he was impressed. He was surprised Bailey never mentioned anything like this before.

"What does it do?"

[Leon]

"We have some extra in the supply office."

Miriam would confirm that it was possible.

"Anything. Long distance messages, scans, maps, pictures, video. It just can't effect the real world. It's a computer technically."

[Blake Oleander]

"You said you improved on them. Can you make them as well?"

They sounded useful.
