A finger tapped on the girls shoulder. When she turned around, she'd see a taller male in gold armor, slightly glowing, standing there with a small smile.

"Excuse me, girl. Are you the one who doesn't die?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

Rose would jump from the finger taps, not at all used to anyone approaching her of their own free will.

She spins around with the look of someone fearing they're getting attacked. Even more so when she sees how big this guy is.

"Y-y-y-y-y-yyyy--y-y-yessss...that's m-m-meee..."

She's never been so amazed and terrified at the same time. HE'S GLOWING?!

Despite his size and power, she'd feel almost inherently that she was talking to a good person. Someone who was not in any way a threat. She'd feel warmth coming off his body. He crouched, so he was now smaller than her.

"What....is that like? Do you feel pain?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

The initial shock fades, despite what her mind was telling her...

While she'd usually try to minimize what it felt like to die, she felt comfortable enough to tell the truth.

"It depends how..." she says softly, clasping her hands behind her back to keep herself from weirdly reaching out to touch him as she talked.

"If I die really fast I don't remember feeling pain. It's just dark and...nice..."

No one's really asked her about this before. Her face flushes a bit.

IS THIS WAS A REAL DAD IS? DON'T CALL HIM DAD.

"For one so young to know death so intimately...it is unfortunate."

He held up a hand.

"I could stop it, if you wish. Your power."

[Stigma Wyatt]

She looks surprised to hear that.

"Stop it how?"

At the rate she died, Rose wasn't sure she ever wanted to part with it.

Elias needed her...

"I can change it, make it something different. Something that wouldn't require pain. A new ability that you can fight and grow with, instead."

He searched the young girls eyes.

"That way.....death could be a peaceful thing for you. Less of a...liability."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Would I still be able to come back if I died..?"

If he only meant to change the process of her resurrections, that was one thing. Losing it was not an option.

[Baldur Odinson]

"Well...no....but why would you want to?"

His brow furrowed, confused. She wanted to die?

[Stigma Wyatt]

She holds her hands to her heart.

"I can't go forever!" Rose shakes her head.

"I have to be here to help the person I love. He can use me when I have this power!"

[Baldur Odinson]

"Use you...?"

His hand slowly retracted.

"You are a living person, someone who can love and breathe and be special without anyone needing to use you. Has someone made you feel you must be a tool for them?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

"No one where I was from wanted to be around me. Not even my parents." she says, smiling softly to herself.

"Only one person ever did, so I want to be useful to them no matter what. For once in my life I was able to offer something to someone, so you can't take it away from me..."

[Baldur Odinson]

He gave a gentle smile and waved it off.

"I won't, little one. But I think it says more about the people around you, than it does you, that they treat you this way."

He reached into a pouch at his waist, pulling out a gold coin.

"My name Is Baldur Odinson. And I would like to be your friend."

He'd offer her the coin.

[Stigma Wyatt]

"R-really?!"

Someone just offering like that?! AND giving her a gift?!

She starts to shake in some weird mixture of anxiety and excitement, her hand trembling all the way to grabbing the coin.

Just as she's about to touch it however, she looks up at Baldur.

"I can really take this?"

[Baldur Odinson]

He smiled.

"Of course. It's a gift. You just throw it into some water and ask for Baldur Odinson, and I'll be there, ok?"

He'd stand, hands going to his hips.

"And I hope things change for you. That people stop making you feel useful, and instead start making you feel cared for."
