He laughed.
"Of course."
He'd step forward and give her a big hug, crouching to scoop her up into his arms. She'd feel some serious warmth coming off his body, as though he were a human heating pad. He'd hug her as long as she wanted.

Well she was going to make it brief but he turned it into something so much better.
Rose's face is as hot as this man's body, and she's starting to hyperventilate a bit.
"...iloveyou..." she blurts under her breath. She's probably pretty close to his ear so he probably heard.

He laughed again, and set her down after, not saying anything about her declaration of love.
"Remember- if you need me, put the coin in water and call for me. And don't fret, little one. Whatever anyone says or does, you're worthy of friendship, regardless of your use."
He would give her head a little rub, his large hand easily covering the top of it as he started to walk away, deeper into the bowels of the school.

Rose tries to stand tall after he gives her encouragement and pets her head.
Don't cry, this is a beautiful moment. DON'T CRY.
She sniffs and nods, holding the coin more tightly but not moving from where she was.
She'd let him go off a bit further first. She had to go that way too, but didn't want to look like she was following him. Even though she kinda wanted to.
"Coin in water..." she reminds herself, holding back from just trying it randomly in a toilet somewhere.
It was going to be hard to keep this gift away from Elias...but she'd protect it.
