It was sunset. The sun was about to set and night would take over. Keith took the opportunity to get a little bit of practice in. However, the practice took Keith in the middle of a cemetary. A cemetary of all places? Why a person would practice martial arts in a cemetary is unknown.
Perhaps it's like being in tuned with the spirits. In martial arts, one's own mind, body, and soul needed to be in sync with one another. Maybe it might be a way to communicate with spirits, who knows? But for today, it was a pretty interesting place to practice.
It's like the grave stones are stones of warriors. And their spirits are watching two people fighting it out from above. One could only imagine that. But, it was a regular cemetary. People buried who died from murder, natural causes, diseases, etc. Most people are wary to go to cemetaries. It's makes them think and fear death.
Personally, death wasn't something to be feared. It was to be embraced. For everybody, death is inevitable. One cannot beat death. One does not know where or when death is going to strike. All Death does is its job, take people when it's their time to go. One example would be "Meet Joe Black" with Brad Pitt where he plays the Grim Reaper.
If you fear death, you'll never be free. One must accept that death is part of the cycle of life. Depending on your religious views, you could go to Heaven forever. Or possibly reincarnate into another being depending on your deeds. You won't know until you pass. One must learn to accept and embrace death. Which is probably the reason Keith was practicing.
Maybe it was to show that he didn't fear death or something. Yet at the same time, the area and the sunset, felt like some Wild West Shootout. There was only one thing missing, an opponent.

OOC-And thus enters player number two!
Yzal took slow steps in the grave yard as his head glanced around from tombstone to tombstone. Yzal's eyes lingered on the graves for no more than a few seconds each as he walked down the path. His eyes held a sort of lifelessness that they hadn't had for awhile. See....Yzal never knew his parents. For all he knew, they could be in anywhere. Across the sea, in some random apartment across the nation, or the most likely answer, dead.
Yzal quickly brought his left hand up to his cheek and lightly smacked it a few times. He couldn't let this get him down. He had lived his whole life without them, so why would he be thinking about them now. Yzal shook his lightly as he cast down the doubt in his mind. He needed to get his mind off of it with something....something like...
~A boy...? Whose....practicing martial arts?~
...Thats it! A fight. It was the perfect thing to get his mind out of this depressing slump it was in.
"Yo!" Yzal said giving the boy a friendly wave as he walked up. "Odd place to be doing that sought of thing don't you think?"

"Odd place to be doing that sought of thing don't you think?"
Keith continued to practice his martial arts. He adjusted his shades a bit. Without looking at the person, he continued practicing. However, the senior wasn't ignorining him one bit. Yeah, he had a point. This was a pretty odd place to be practicing this sort of stuff.
"Perhaps, I've always wanted to get the feel of practicing in such odd places," he said with this English accent. Keith took a few deep breaths as he continued practicing some sort of Karate kata.
He then added, "but overall, it's a pretty interesting location really. It's like a setting for a Wild West Shootout. Only thing missing is the opposition. Y'know to trade gunfire with while hiding behind the gravestones to reload."
Graveyard was a pretty interesting venue.

Yzal's eyes flashed slightly as soon as the boy mentioned wanting some opposition. Yzal was actually about to ask the boy if he rather perferred a real opponent rather than practicing his moves. Now that the boy mentioned it too, it would actually be the first time Yzal fought in a graveyard. If he thought about it, how ironic would it be to fight in the place were you were bound to end up eventually, regardless how much you fought against it.
It was a sad, but true fact.
~Wow, this place really has a bad effort on me!~ He thought as he brought his attention back to the older looking boy.
"Well...how about fighting me then?" Yzal said with a confident grin on his face. " We may not have guns, but it still might be interesting, dontcha think?"

"Well...how about fighting me then?"
Ah, the other opponent. Though they didn't have guns and ammo, simple hand-to-hand would more than suffice. A hand-to-hand fight seemed to be more exciting. It would be like the spirits wandering the graveyard would be the spectators of this match.
They'd be watching two fighting spirits go at it. Also, it would be the first time that Keith himself would be fighting in a cemetary. It should prove rather interesting and intriguing.
" We may not have guns, but i it still might be interesting, dontcha think?"
Keith smiled and nodded.
"Quite."

Yzal wasn't much for dramatics. Yet he couldn't help but feel the scene taking on that certain sense. The sunset weighing heavily on the two fighters. Yzal rolled his eyes at the thought as he felt there was no need for further idle chit-chat.
"Show me what you got..." He said in the same tone he addressed the boy in when he had showed up.
Yzal dashed off toward the guy as he wanted to see if the man could even keep up. Yzal didn't want to leave himself to open in his opening attack, so he decided that he would send a side kick into the man's stomach. As soon as Yzal got into range, he centered his body on his left leg and thrust his right leg straight at the boy.
No element of surprise, no underhanded tricks, just a regular kick. ~Lets see how this goes...~

Seems that Keith's opponent wasn't hesitant on starting the fight. Instead, the person just ran at him. Keith's opponent was pretty fast. But Keith was just as fast. There was about a possible less than one percent difference between each other's speed. Keith didn't mind, a fast opponent was good training. There, Keith saw the side kick coming at him. It was pretty fast. However, Keith wouldn't let that hit connect with him. This was a pretty basic kick. Perhaps this person might have a few aces up his sleeve. As the kick came for him, Keith would quickly grab the ankle of the right foot with both of his hands. From there, Keith would fall backwards onto the ground and use his strength and catapult his opponent off the ground and onto the other side for a Single Leg Catapult. The opponent should be on his stomach after that. Should the attack connect, Keith would keep hold of his opponent's ankle and tightly hook it under left arm and apply a painful Half-Boston Crab.

It all happened so fast. One minute Yzal's challenging the boy to a fight, and the next, he's under the kid in a hold he couldn't hope to break. Yzal struggled for a few seconds against the boy's hold on his leg.
~Okay...so what are my options?~ Thought Yzal as he tried to calmly assess the situation.
~I could struggle....but then my leg would be broken.~
~...or i could kick him with my other leg....which would result in him breaking my leg.~
~..perhaps i could break my leg and the twist to kick him in the balls..oh wait...but then my leg would be broken....shucks.....and that plan was so good too.~
Anyway Yzal ran it through his mind, it always wound up with him and his leg being broken.
"Woah woah man! I give! You don't have to take it so far!"
Ya ya....Yzal took the wussy way out. He would have attacked the kid's pressure points like a certain girl had did when he was on top of her in the same position, but that would be creepy...not to mention putting his body in a awkward position.

"Woah woah man! I give! You don't have to take it so far!"
That was fast...
The Single-leg Catapult to Half-Boston Crab combination worked like a charm. But damn, that was a pretty easy counter attack. But hey, least the move worked. And the beauty of certain submissions is that a person can fight but that person is going to be in a lot of pain.
Having no reason to break the person's leg. Keith quickly released the hold and took a few steps away and faced his opponent. It was pretty quick in one shot. Kinda like those Wild West showdowns or those samurai showdowns in those movies.
Like a quick gunshot or a quick slash. Instead it was a counter-throw that flowed into a leg submission. Though fast, it seemed to be pretty interesting.
"You okay?" Keith calmly asked.

Yzal felt the hold on his leg being released and scoffed at how quickly he went down. That was the problem when he went against someone on a whole different level than he was on. When the boy had matched his speed, it was already over. With his trump card...well....trumped, there wasn't much else to do.
Yzal slowly stood up, dusting the graveyard soil off his shirt. The stuff honestly gave him the creeps, and to be on the ground against it did nothing to help his nerves.
"Yea yea, im fine. I gotta admit man....your fast" Yzal said with a light chuckle. Fast was putting it lightly. Not many people could really keep up with him....apparently this guy wasn't one of those people.

"Yea yea, im fine. I gotta admit man....your fast"
Keith casually nodded to his opponent. He was fast but with good reason. Speed was crucial in a match. Because most fights are supposed to end quick and not to be prolonged. But yeah, Keith was pretty fast.
"Speed is always important," he politely explained. Keith then added, "but what good is speed if you cannot utilize it well. With speed, your mind, body, and soul must be in sync."
Keith cleared his throat some.
"Your thinking must be as fast as your body."

Yzal nodded slightly toward the boy. This day was simply disappointing. He got his ass kicked....bad...and in one move. How sad was that? Well they weren't serious....so that was a good side to it. Yzal really didn't wanta wind up with more injuries than necessary. So avoiding all was what he wanted to do. Pain he didn't mind, but it was something he normally avoided.
"Well....sorry for my poor performance man....i guess ill see you later." Yzal said apologetically while turning to walk away. One day...maybe soon, he would come back and show this kid what he was really made of.....
~maybe....~
OOC- Wow...i just felt the life drain out of me in this thread....i just thought we should end it =P
