He didn't have any questions. He'd just watch her and listen.

Intently.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey would stop after she finished her first explanation, very much aware of the intent stare as he watched what she did and took it in, looking up at him with a smile.

"What do you think? Would you like to give it a try before we move on to a different one?"

[Blake Oleander]

He'd flick his wrist to summon up the interface and mimic her previous movements to pull up the messenger app. Though his, of course, was blank and empty.

[Bailey Oleander]

Once he had the app opened up, Bailey would check the messenger ID and pull it up on her own monitor, letting Blake see how it worked in action as she sent him a simple greeting. After a few seconds, it would show up on his screen!

He would clumsily reply!

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey would wait for a moment, selecting the message and replying in kind!

It's not so bad once you get used to it. You're doing great.

She wanted to try a couple more times at least for him to feel less awkward about it.

He would very slowly type out.

Thank you.

His brows knitted in concentration.

[Bailey Oleander]

You're welcome.

"We can try this a little longer if you like, or we can try something else when you're comfortable with it."

[Blake Oleander]

"It's up to you."

He would adapt. He was determined!

[Bailey Oleander]

"Actually, it's up to you." She chuckled as she sent another response.

"Look at this way; we're going to cover what's on these tools, so it's up to you how you want to do this. If you want to work on this one until you're more conformable with it before moving on."

[Blake Oleander]

"We move forward then."

He could practice on his own to obtain mastery. Not was a time to understand.

[Bailey Oleander]

"Alright." She nodded and switched over to the next app, which was one she was familiar with both on Cabal standards and her own.

"You may have seen this or seen others with this one at Cabal; it allows us to look into various databanks and sources of information for research." She would show him how to operate the browser, including how to handle the information out there, transferring and saving it for later if he found anything he liked, and other such methods!

As slowly as she needed to, and as often.

"Right now, we have access to our own sources, Cabal's civilian database, and the same for any others sources out there."

She'd find him a quick study, if somewhat hesitant with the tech. But he seemed to grasp the concepts and didn't need to be shown twice.

"Do they have access to our databases then?"

If so that needed to change.

[Bailey Oleander]

She paused, considering his question for a moment, then began pulling up what she could.

"We've made our own improvements, of course, but they would have access to public records and civilian information, only. Birthdays, public purchases, things anyone can find with a casual search. Information on the original parts of Aurora may be more difficult for them, but I imagine the same could be said there if someone looked into it or transferred hte information - like when you joined Cabal. Or public news, like the death of the previous Elder.

"Beyond that? If they want information on the council's private records or similar, they would need the correct permission and access - like my mother's access code, for example - or the ability to break past the defenses and steal the information. We have defenses against that, of course - most do, and some of ours keep up to date on it with our own personal developments on the tech."
