Not just another job (open)

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity was close on the track of a punk causin trouble for the Helium Alliance. As of right now, she was only to follow the subject and only take him out if he moved on Helium. She didn’t prefer this kind of job. It was boring and well, to be honest, below her abilities. It had been two months since the Sudeki Clan has sent her in a real mission. The last one to come through had made her laugh. They wanted Leon Sudeki’s eyes. Trinity knew her father’s eyes well enough to know that she was better off to leave that one alone. Leon was dangerous and Trinity knew it. 

She drew res another exploding head on the pavement with her eye. This was getting old fast. He had been at the same location for over a week. She knew his type: cowardly rat. Word must have gotten to him someone was coming for him. After a few days on his trail he took to hiding here. Every few days Trinity reported back via Qi phone. She took out her phone and pushed off the ledge back inside the building and pressed the contact.

“It’s me. Yeah he’s still here. I can easily go in and— Yes I understand. But they won’t even— Yes. Trust me, he’s terrified enough not to go anywhere. Come on, it’s fish in a— Yeah. /sigh/ Yeah. Alright. I’ll report back in a few days. Yeah, thanks.”

Trinity removed the phone from her ear and let out another sigh. 

“It’s so much better to just kill them.” 

She grumbled to no one and sat back at her perch, watching the unmoving building.

[Zack Asiv]

Her target was now exiting the building. He seemed jumpy looking around and hurrying to get down the road. At the same time her Qi device was ringing, she was getting a call!

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity grumbled as she put the phone to her ear and followed through the building after her target.

“I thought we already agreed radio silence was best until something happens.”

She was so past all his checking in waaaay too often business. Let her handle it or find someone else. Trinity silently thanked her stars the building continued on for another block and a half. Gotta love old empty factories.

[Zack Asiv]

"We have a new assignment. Abandon your target and secure a safe location."

The connection would end abruptly. It was Astrid, her cousin. She was a primary handler for the Sudeki Guardians, this took precedent over her current job.

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity cursed and the line cut off.

“Dammit.”

Trinity shoved the phone back in her pocket before looking back out the wall of dusty windows. She mumbled something about always being in a safe place as she watched he target enter a store. She sighed and called her cousin back. This had better be a good one. This may very well be money circling the drain.

“Who’s the mark and what’s the intel?”

[Zack Asiv]

Astrid would step out of the wall near by, using her Seikatsugan ability to create a portal to person they have an Aura signal for.

"Come with me."

Astrid would lead the way to a near by side alley to speak.

"It's come to our attention that your father has hidden your brother. His eyes are unique. Can be dangerous if used against the Clan. He was last seen at Cabal, having been captured by someone named Rozalin and Onides. Sage's eyes must be recovered."

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity wasn’t even /phases/ by what she saw. This was usual for Astrid. As well as usual for the clan in its entirety. Trinity stopped short and glared at her cuz.

“What makes you think he would turn on us?”

She tried not to think about Prota and his being used as a bodyguard. That was extreme circumstances, right? Her job was always her job. She loved it and rarely asked questions. But they were sending her after family. That was... well, there was a reason she didn’t go after Leon. Not only was he powerful, but he was family. She mentally shook her head. THE WHOLE CLAN WAS FAMILY. This was getting complicated, best not to think about it like that.

[Zack Asiv]

"We don't suspect he will turn on us. The problem is if Prota comes after him again. If they recapture him his eyes can be used against us. If the Katashi Clan discovers he is no longer protected by the Clan they will go after his eyes too. We can't risk it."

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity sighed. Logic. She hated logic sometimes. It in order to best protect her family, she would have to hurt it. Damn.

“Okay. Rosalind and Onides. What are their physical appearances? Do they have any allies other than my father that I need to know about?”

Always be prepared.

[Zack Asiv]

Astrid would sigh.

"Rozalin has graduated out of Cabal Academy and is assumed to be a member of Ayatlan or Territory 260 now. In a city of Mages look for the pirate with the saber and eye patch no doubt. As for Onides, she looks like a demon and is a part of one of Cabal's military squads."

[Trinity Sudeki]

Against her best judgement, Trinity grins.

“Bout time I got an actual challenge. I hate this small stuff.”

She gestures toward the store containing the precious mark.

“At least the family gives me tasks worth my training.”

Hunting her own brother... she shook her head. This was something out of a bad story.

Astrid would click her tongue turning and looking at the shop.

"The small stuff is important too, Trin."

She would shrug.

"I'll be handling this mark, you are to leave immediately."

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity would maintain her grin, though it would take on a taunting feel.

“Sure you can handle him? Don’t forget that time I had to save your ass.”

She’d laugh and head to her bike.

“Be careful.”

[Zack Asiv]

"If I remember correctly, the only reason we got caught up in that mess was because you didn't like the way that Kenton asshole was talking to you."

She'd wave as Trinity left.

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity would laugh again.

“Drinks on me when I get back. I’ll need the details anyway.”

With that, she would start the bike and speed off.
