"Who is the man with the Gold eyes?"

[Zack Asiv]

His smile returns.

"I don't know. I only know what other people know about him."

[Blake Oleander]

"What do you know about the man with the Gold eyes then?"

[Zack Asiv]

"He is a large man, that wears an Arabian style vest and martial arts pants. He has a mark on his chest, black hair and gold eyes. He ignores people like they are ants, and if someone or something does get in his they generally die. People tend to either run into him randomly, or specifically looking for him. He is in the plains of 244 looking for the Summer Crystal."

"Do I possess the means to defeat him?"

[Zack Asiv]

"If you attack with every warrior in Aurora at your back."

[Blake Oleander]

"Let me know when the man with Golden Eyes has figured out where the summer Crystal has been moved to."

[Zack Asiv]

"Can do."

[Blake Oleander]

"Thank you Virgil."

He'd bow his head to the sprite before turning to Bailey.

"Do you feel better?"

[Bailey Oleander]

“Yes.” She leaned up to kiss Blake as Virgil was given a break. “Thank you.”

There was, of course, still the issue of why she’d come to find him besides asking questions. Something Blake would be less than happy about.

“We’ll need to swing by the lab on our way out tomorrow, though. I testing a couple of scrapings to see where the stress points were for it.” She frowned at the memory.

“There is some machinery there i’d Rather we take with us if i’m going to be taking the mask off, anyway. They suffered a power surge in the process. They’re safely contained, but I’d still rather not have them sitting around in the city. Even with it being kept under supervision.”

He frowned.

"What happened?"

[Bailey Oleander]

“It consumed the samples I took. Organic or synthetic, it absorbs then and gains the energy when it feels threatened.” She paused, remembering the details with a frown of her own.

“The backlash will infect anything it touches - and it will attach itself to whatever is giving it energy. It might be different if it’s attached to me, though.”  Thanks to Virgil telling them. Bless that little sprite for giving the answers to get her that idea.

“The parts had some of the energy when it was separated. The rest of it is fine, though.  I didn’t take it further than that. Mostly I was concerned if it was passively affecting others. As long as I don’t get hit in the face in it in battle or when I take it off, it should be okay.”

"Okay...?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"So just so you know why I'm asking to bring it with us instead of just keeping it contained?" Yes, she is having that moment. Probably because Bailey realized she had been babbling.

"I was more concerned before we started asking Virgil questions. Too many unknowns, other than it doesn't seem to do anything but gather more energy until provoked or removed."
