Somewhere a few blocks off 259, in a rather dark alleyway, was a group of thugs and a fellow company. A tied up company, that is. It was a young girl, her wrists tied up behind her and her legs tied at the ankles, her knees bent as she cowered at the end of the alleyway, looking away as tears rolled down her cheeks, a piece of cloth over her mouth and preventing her from screaming. She was wearing a skirt that reached down to her knees, a white shirt and a black vest over that. Her hair was messy, a few bruises on her arms. The ten thugs were laughing, licking their lips as they stared at their helpless victim, their imagination going wild with what they could do to her. The girl simply sat there, helpless and defenceless as she cried, shivering at every thought that she knew was entering their dirty minds. Her name was Cornelia.
The thugs seemed to be in uniform of sorts, all wearing a red bandana, a black shirt with white sleeves that were folded up to their elbows and pinned in place by a brown belt. They were wearing urban camouflage pants, followed by black shoes. They all wore spiky wrist bands, and some wore a dog collar. They all had tattoos of words on their forearms, probably being their codename, or something. Payne, Jaker, Magik, Ideel, Bomel, Yeath, Fayke, Knite, Sorne, Bayng.
It was only an hour ago that her so-called boyfriend abandoned her as these thugs appeared from an alleyway and grabbed her. In fact, he practically gave her to them as he pushed her onto the thugs to give himself time to escape. Talk about a boyfriend. The girl made a mental note that if she ever made it out alive, she was gonna get a better boyfriend. And then, she trembled as she felt something cold touch her cheek, her eyes jerking open as she turned her head slowly, only to look into one of the thug's eyes, his hands on her cheek. He had a dirty smile on his face that only made her cry even harder.
"From now on, you will be our pet. And like every new pet, they will be given a name. And yours will be-"
"Yours will be forgotten once I'm through with you."
A new voice came into the scene, and the man who had been talking to the girl jumped in surprise, turning around, only to see a figure standing there, the other nine's heads too turning around. It was a male, one with long purple-hair. He was wearing a black shirt with the words "I'm Kind Of A Big Deal" imprinted on it in silver. He was wearing dark brown cargo pants, and a red and black Nike shoes. The leader of the thug, the one who was about to give their new pet a new name, the one who had the words 'Payne' on his right bare forearm, stood up and gritted his teeth in frustration.
"I don't know who you are, and I don't care, but considering that you know of our new pet, you will be brought down hard, just to make sure you'll forget, ya?"
But the man didn't seem to listen as he put his hands together suddenly. And then, with one fluid movement, he moved them apart from each other. Suddenly, this bright flash of light appeared from where his hands had been together earlier, lighting up the whole alleyway. Payne staggered backwards, finding himself leaning against the wall as he lifted his arms, trying to cover his eyes, which he found could no longer see. Temporarily, of course. A period of five seconds later, he blinked his eyes, relieved that he had been given back the use of it and looked into the hallway once more, only to see six of his 'brothers' lying on the ground, bleeding. Some had their legs twisted in a very sick way, others had arms that were bent in a rather impossible why. The remaining three backed away, leaning against the wall, near Payne as the girl started crawling away, nearer to the man, who she saw as her saviour.
"Who are you?!" Payne asked, and the man replied in a rather cold and emotionless tone. One that sent goosebumps running down their spines.
"Your darkest nightmare."
