Yanmei gives Katsu a nod before glancing back at Bailey and smiling.

"I'm sure you do."

Not that she would pretend to know the extent of Bailey and Blake's relationship from the little she managed to poke out of the girl, but you recognize similarities pretty easily.

Either way, she follows near Katsu like a little guardian, if only for the journey north.

[Katsu]

Katsu follows along, not really making small talk along the way!

He lead them to a small clearing where he would turn to face Katsu.

"Qi or no Qi. Your choice."

Handicap or none.

Bailey would offer YanMei a smile in return, silent as the rest until they reached their destination. She remembered not coming anywhere near here for a while when she first arrived. She'd even avoided combat as much as possible until she'd been assigned a squad.

Funny how things change.

She stopped while the details of the spar were being worked out, curious what Katsu would pick.

Yanmei just looks at Katsu, trying to will the words into his head somehow.

Katsu says, drawing his sword.

"That, should be your answer."

She should know better.

"Okay."

He'd flick his sword loose in his sheath. Inhaling as he activated his Guardian Oath, feeling the power of his people flow through him as his right hand moved to his blade. His arm bubbling and cracking as it shifted into its monstrous form. His teeth gritting together in pain as his back exploded in a shower of ichor and flesh, wings sprouting forth with a powerful flap as he rushed forward at Katsu, drawing his blade and swiping for his midsection as he went to pass the man. Though Blake would be using the flat part of the blade even knowing Cabal would have its shields up. This man was one of his people, he wished him no real harm.

Monsterous Claw - His right arm morphs and cracks into a monstrous claw that adds his energy to his attack stats while the transformation is +8 Def while active

Wings: Through a painful restructuring and rapid growth of his bone structure and muscle structure wings sprout from Blake's back. It adds his energy stat to his speed stat. This also allows him to fly at the same speed as his energy stat.

Monster Blood Lvl 1: Blake adds 6 to his energy

"Generous God" - Due to his resurrection of his allies, people have taken to seeing Blake as a Generous and beloved warrior. He may add an additional 25% of his base energy onto any energy-based enhancement, once per thread.

Anytime Blake can enter a Blitz mode, which adds up to +25 his Spd stat in momentum damage once per thread.

Blakes Oath allows him to instantly change places with anyone he can see up to four times a thread. As long as 'Aurora' has a Happiness above 100. If Aurora has a Happiness and Safety above 200 he gets +15 Atk, +15 Def instead. His body switch also has unlimited uses

The moment Blake drew his blade and took a breath was when Bailey took a step back and glanced to see if YanMei would do the same. She knew Blake could handle himself; it was just a matter of how much of what he would use.

"Birds of a feather," she mused with a soft laugh.

You can almost feel the disappointment radiate from Yanmei.

She too takes a step back, staring daggers at Katsu because he might be all about testing himself but SHE has to be the one who's any bit worried about what happens to him.

She pinches the bridge of her nose and sighs.

Let the games begin.

Katsu goes to block the attack, though he's far too slow, and he's swiftly sent sailing backwards from the strike!

[Blake Oleander]

Blake would teleport to swap places with Katsu before he hits something so that Blake will hit the tree while Katsu lands on the ground in front of the women.

[Bailey Oleander]

What.

Bailey blinked, staring at where Blake had been, only to find Katsu in his place. When had he been able to do that? She shook her head with a small huff, prepared to move again if needed. But from what she had seen, the warriors of 63 were capable and aware of their surroundings. It was too early for them to be that engrossed...

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei would gasp and cover her mouth with her hands. She's SHOOK.

[Katsu]

Katsu's lying on the ground, barely conscious!

This was far and away from what he was expecting.

Blake grunted, flapping his wings again to fly back to the group, landing lightly with his sword still out, just in case he wished to continue.
