This made Spike's eye brow raise.

"But you just said I'm not strong enough to do jack shit? You guys are the best of the best."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Correct on both counts."

He'd say as he bit into a piece of crispy bacon.

"Leon's powerful, but when you were what? 10? You were strong enough to take an hold an airport. When Leon was fifteen he was constantly crying and sniveling. You shouldn't settle for matching him when you can surpass him."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would look down at his food for a moment before chowing down. Shoveling whole egg along with slices of bacon quickly, nearly inhaling, choking on a piece of fat in the bacon holding two halves together in his throat. Quickly drinking more cocoa, which was super hot still, which hurt going down as well.

He hadn't thought about what his dad was like at his own age, and then capturing the airport when he was ten, he felt like that was just something they would of done by his age no problem.

"I didn't know that. Back in the old world... What were you guys like? What started the Dragons? Father always said it started before the war."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"You want the honest truth?"

[Sage Sudeki]

"I would prefer that over a fairy tail at the moment."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Leon was a guy with a chip on his shoulder. Looking to prove himself the only way he knew how. Fighting. David Blaze was a know it all who thought it was up to him to save the world and clean up every mess that no one asked him too. And me. I was a thug. A criminal who got his kicks off of hurting people and playing little games with people's lives. We took our titles from an old gang in New York that fucked up a lot of people, a symbol of our own power when there was no one to challenge us for it. We enforced it by breaking anyone we didn't approve of from doing the same."

He'd shrug.

"And it grew from there, fighting stronger and stronger people. Stumbling into our gifts, and fumbling and learning as we went. No one showed us the way to become what we are. No one had really done it to the extreme we had. There was no path, so we made one."

He'd take another bite of his food.

"So make yours."

[Sage Sudeki]

"My own, huh? Yeah..."

Spike would continue eating and drinking for a few moments, mulling over the explanation of the origin of things. Sounded about right though. Sage narrowed his eyes looking at the bandages on his hands, he had a lot to think about.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Only way to not be a piece."

[Sage Sudeki]

"The last... Order I remember getting while they were controlling my body was to measure the inner defenses of Cabal during the exams... Does that have to do with the marching armies?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Maybe. Could just be Strike being an opportunistic ass."

Either way, he didn't really care about that.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Fine, be my own man."

Spike said more to himself than anyone else before gulping down the rest of his food and cocoa. Going to the sink and rinsing his dishes before storming out the front door. Finding a spot he would spread his feet about shoulder width apart and raise his fists to near his face, as a black plasma jumped between his arms momentarily. Causing Spike to grunt before a black fire began to calmly seep from his joints as smoke. Before finally the fire burst from him, covering his whole body in an intense black aura.

His eyes changed into the Seikatsugan as he began compiling his energy, raising it even higher, another flash of energy as black scales appeared on his body accompanied by more black lightning sparking around his body. Growling near constantly at this point as he still hadn't reached the peek of his energy.
