Rose nods in agreement with Cael before slowly starting to approach the dummy as suggested. She raises the blade over her head then brings it down on the dummy's shoulder like an axe.

As she tries to pull back up she realizes the blade is stuck in a dent she made and she starts pulling at it a bit desperately.

"A-ah!! Nooo!"

"Try using your leg to push against it when you pull it out. Use the extra force of your body weight?"

"Absolutely dont panic." Oni got a bit scarred seeing all the horrible ways this could cometo end. Rose would need to be calm to think and act on her own. "It could pop out and smack into you doing who knows how much damage. Cael is right and thats a good way also pull up on the hilt, not out, it twists it loose. Either or are common practices when unwedging a blade."

She'd place a hand over her chest trying to calm her own rapidly beating heart. That is a scary thought. The blade popping out and Rose falling back with a blade suddenly smacking into her face or something.

"Ah! O-okay!" she nods in understanding. She doesn't seem to truly understand the danger, but at least she's listening.

With a few upward tugs, she's finally able to dislodge it, stumbling back just a bit.

"I-is it going to do that on real people..?"

Because that's slightly distressing.

"Uh... In bone maybe?"

She visibly pales.

"It hasnt happened to me yet... Not on a person anyway. But that isn't saying much considering I have not swung my blade in a person." she tried to think. "Daggers dont get stuck often... But you are not aiming for much bone with those."

"Ahahehehe..."

Scary.

"Um...okay. If I use the pointy end in a stab, where should I do it?"

She's been stabbed more than anything else so she kinda knows how that works.

"Is there a less bone-y place?"

There's just bones everywhere. What do?

"The stomach area?"

"Precisely, what he said." she would point at the soft points on a persons body. Using a finger to swipe strikes as to mimicking the cut of a dagger. "Front and sides of the neck, the stomach, to wound or slow down your enemy the back of the knees, calfs, and the thighs all will keep them from running too far."

Alright. We're gonna definitely see Rose disembowel someone in the near future.

She takes notes with quick nods!

"Ah! Th-thank you so much you're both so helpful!!"

She's tearing up.

Oni's body just tightens and her face beams with delight. Rose's tears or joy gave a sparkle to them that looked incredibly cute.

"Yes, you're absolutely welcome." she answered forth with. "Be sure to keep practicing, even if you feel sore and tired. You only get better from here on out."

"Y-yes!" she nods in determination!

At least she had several paths open up. Her own practice and the classes.

"A-and I'm going to try to learn to use my f-fists too!"

Because Cael inspired her to do that as well!
