She looks up at him with an awkward smile, partly because she still had troubling thoughts. But she genuinely was happy to hear something like that.
"Yes...me too." she says, sounding like she'd somewhat figured something out.
"Th-thank you...heh...sometimes its nice to hear things like that. I just hope I don't...forget..."
Elias was changing a lot, too. But what if she had to choose between him and weak people? Weak people who made her think of herself. Weak people she wanted to keep from feeling things she had before. Or even still does, to be honest.
That...was troubling.
