Deeringly Meeting more people!

Atlas then reached out his hand for Elias to get on the trunk that was infront of the cart as he nodded a few times.

"Indeed, alot has happened, but if i am bringing over food to you two your place, then of course i have enough time to listen."

Before snapping his fingers causing William to lower himself to let the harness be put on more easily, even helping along the way as he earned a few good pats before taking out a small orange fruit to let the beast snack on, a carrot if people knew it in this age, it was rather fishy what vegetables survived afterall and were known.

"So, let us start with the very start of what you two know, while you two join me on the front of the cart, there is enough place for five adults, so i know that the kids would not mind."

Hoping that the two would realize that he did not need to know where they were born, he needed some decent information to get some safety to his people.
Especially with how everything has been advancing in the neighbourhood.

Elias climbs up onto the cart.

"What, exactly, do you want to know?"

Rose hops out the back and scrambles to the front very clumsily.

"About Cabal?" she chimes in after Elias.

It was at this point, that atlas finished his information gathering from the kids their own personalities and mindsets, there was of course the danger that they were hiding something.
But this was not the case for his own mindset to be troubled with.

"Right now, we are in cabal, cabal was organised by a bunch of people but according to the locals, after the war, a few events had occured that were unforgettable.
Could you name a few and i can indulge you guys in more information?
If that is too difficult, tell me something about your own living enviroment and what has happened to you guys."

Before sitting down and making sure that they both had a cup of the sweet nectar in the barrels along with the bars.

"Which way do i need to start driving to find our way to where you two reside?"

"That way."

Elias points, in between noisily chewing his bar and slurping that drink. This kid has no manners.

"Well... there's been another war. And we were told to attend here, since 259 is bigger than 256, so we have to do what they say."

Rose happily sips her own drink. This is way better than mud water! Or regular water.

"Everyone has to learn how to u-use their powers..."

Another war? this wasn't that known to him as he pondered this for a solid minute before then letting a sigh escape his mouth, knowing full well that it wasn't too obvious that many dangers were hidden in many nooks for most people.

"So, everybody has to learn their powers, but who teaches the kids?
Are they a governemental body that wishes to help or oppress their students?"

Asking this question, Atlas tapped the wood of the seat a few times before making his way slowly to where they had pointed the way, adjusting his route if neccesary.

"but above all, there is no financial support to those poor? Family assistance or something?"

Before then taking a deep swallowing sound...

"Any issues regarding parents?"

"There's trainers here, at Cabal."

Elias says, as if it's obvious.

"Our territory has nothing. Had nothing. I'm fixing it now, by making the people work, since I'm king."

Also a very simple way of explaining what had happened with the Kingdom of Dirt.

"My parents are gone."

No further explanation.

"Leon and Zack teach...um...there's more I think."

She only really met those two. She doesn't really know what governmental body or oppress means.

At the mention of parents...

"Elias killed mine."

Noting the information regarding the parental situation, Atlas would simply be quiet for a few seconds, scratching the back of his head as one of the sprites, a water one would climb over the back of the seat and try to land on the lap of Rose

"Hey, Hey! Do you know how to knit hair?"

Smiling contently, she was excited to be able to assist in this scenario before Atlas turned to the man that was sitting beside him.
The notion of kid gone after his attempts of trying to better something.

"As a king life will only be difficult, but i am glad that somebody at your age atleast has the show of a king, the foundation is laid down.
But what is your plan as you work with your people, do you force them to be slaves or will you work alongside them?"

His smile serious, his facial expression showing that he wasn't as silly anymore, a certain edge in his eyes that was all too serious.

"Huh?"

Elias looks up from his drink, almost as if he's confused.

"They work or they don't get food. They talk back, they die. I don't have time for lazy people who want to fight me. I'm making it better. I take care of my stuff."

He's including his people as his stuff.

Rose blinks in surprise as she's chosen as a seat for one of the sprites. She feels so blessed.

"N-no...c-can you teach me?"

Because she would LOVE to knit hair. Well someone else's. Her own hair is too messed up and uneven from "punishment cuts" to really style properly.

[Atlas Steele]

As she spoke about being unable to do this, she simply scoffed for a second, trying to realize why she had been saying this before just sighing softly.

"You know! As friends we have to look out for each other, so before i teach you, how about i knit your hair into a ponytail and we can impress your boyfriend?"

Simply elbowing her softly, with the lack of strength of these little sprites, it was obvious enough that it was meant playfully!

While Atlas himself just softly laughed as he nodded at the answer that the kid had given, moving his hand over and starting to ruffle his hair, even if he were to be stopped for a bit before then saying.

"Consider this whatever you may, but i mean it. I am proud of you kid as i am sure your people will too be one day.
Keep at it and you will rise to be a great king of a land with no poverty and despair."

Already imagining the smiling kids walking from one field to another...

Well, it's a good thing that this old man completely agreed with Elias' methods.

Elias smacks at the man's hands, not thrilled with having his hair ruffled.

"Well, I am going to be king of everything, eventually."

[Stigma Wyatt]

The scoff terrifies Rose briefly, because she thinks she's offended the little sprite. But she resumes a friendly tone and Rose laughs bashfully in her weird, awkward way before nodding.

No one's ever styled her hair before!

"O-okay! Th-th-th-thank you so much!"

She's so moved her eyes are tearing up.
