Deeringly Meeting more people!

[Atlas Steele]

Atlas just smiled at the statement of him saying that he would be king one day before handing a small fruit towards the small creature that was busy doing something, knowing what she was trying with the hair at this point.

"Now, Kid, Tell me a bit about how you rule your area and if you need any seeds to sow, of course you will need to be fed to show an example to your people that the future is bright, but if you want food, you need to learn how to grow it right?"

The sprite herself just took the fruit, peeling the skins off and taking the juice before letting her smell it.

"Listen rose, i am going to use these fruits to help get some gunk out of your hair and do my best fixing up some small spots in them.
If you feel any pain, i am sorry but those are clumps i have to brush out and my arms are too weak to do it easily okay?"

Smiling about this, she showed actual care in her voice and her actions as she then soon took a strange rectangle made out of wood that was carefully carved and glossed over using oils to prevent any future splintering.
But as she got it in hand, using both her tiny hands to help it move through her hair, the oil would only help in getting that original shine back and removing some of those nasty clumps!

"Thank god for these new fruits after the war right?"

She spoke with a smile.

"I don't run my territory often. I'm not there enough, so I let my zealots and bandits do it in the meantime while I'm gone. They know better than to go against what I want."

Elias shrugs.

"I don't need to know how to farm. They do. It's their job, not mine."

[Stigma Wyatt]

Rose smiles at the sweet smell, nodding in some understanding of what the sprite was going to do. Once she starts, Rose doesn't seem to react much in any pain. Even the snags that tug her head a bit don't really seem to phase her.

She's been through harsher pain than that.

"I d-didn't know you could use fruits like that." she admits, happy to learn something new.

Atlas would then raise his eyes towards the kid that was sitting besides him at this cart, knowing full well that there was some merit given to when you trust your people.
But that was a little bit silly to say the least, not knowing how to grow anything in the least as he just shrugged and smiled to himself.

"If you ever need to know how to grow some plants or do some farmland renovation, just inform me."

Smiling contently, Atlas shifted his view from one kid to the other, having to keep an eye on both sides so that they would not fall off by being reckless and rowdy.
Although they were being quite the pleasant children, sitting neatly and moving not much.

While the sprite had been busy using oils to freshen up and help fix some of the hair related issues, She soon started to trace her fingers over the pleasant strands as she smiles kindly.
Her small hands, with a little bit of trouble due to the size difference was starting to get the braiding going.
The scent of fruits, a sweet nectarine like smell spreading around, not intoxicatingly sweet to interrupt somebody, but a slight hinge to attract attention softly.

"You know, as a girl you have to remember that we have to make ourselves a little bit presentable, even after what happened to us~"

"Maybe. We'll see how things end up. If it makes things easier, then good."

He shrugs.

[Stigma Wyatt]

"D-do we?" she asks, blinking a bit. Maybe that's why Cecelia's hair was so shiny and smooth. It just wasn't something she grew up with. She bathed and all that now that she could at Cabal, but her upkeep was just that. Soap and water and being mostly all natural.

"I always just l-look like this..."

Atlas smiled at the comment from Elias as he would soon turn back to him, asking a very simple question as he was trying to get through his facade at this point.
Hoping to get a few more reactions out of him to continue the conversation instead of falling upon deaf ears, he thought rather carefully about this point for a few seconds.

"So, This area of yours, what is there to say about the features it has?
Maybe even some people that you have grown fond within that area that you have been waiting to meet again and interact or play with?"

Smiling contently, Atlas was trying to learn more about this kid that he had grown fond off.

While the little sprite was finishing up the braiding of the ponytail, she gasped painfully as the statement of her just always being like that was made!
Using her shoulder as a jumping platform to jump from the back to the front onto her lap, making that braided pony tail flop onto her front as she then pointed upwards to it.

"Smell it! You will notice why a little attention to yourself and a bit of extra attention can do wonders! If Atlas wasn't so carefull about it, you two could just become his kids and join us for dinner every night!
I can even teach you some tricks and how to fix clothes easily yourself, the little things you know?"

"Eh..?" she blinks in surprise, trying to follow the conversation.

She slowly lifts her hair to smell it, smiling softly at the scent.

"This is really nice! Y-you did a really good job u-um...uhh.."

What can she call her?

"Girl...sprite..."

THAT SOUNDS TERRIBLE. She tries to change the subject really quickly.

"D-does Atlas like to adopt p-people?" Rose would try to ask conversationally since she'd never heard of someone claiming random people as their children.

"It's filled with junk."

Elias shrugs.

"Garbage. Ruins. But now we're starting to harvest other things, like trees, ore, and the animals around us. It's becoming a real community."

[Atlas Steele]

The female sprite gave a soft nod as she smiled contently, showing herself and then the other three sprites with a beautifull nod.

"Yeah! Here, let me sit down and try to braid my hair!"

Giving her small tips on the side, to help her figure this out and see if she had a talent for these small pleasantries.

"Atlas likes to take kids who have no parents, parents who died or people who ended up being left alone.
Then he teaches them what a father is, he helps them fend for themselves and gives them a home when they grow up.
Somebody has to don't they? especially after the great... mistakes of humanity."

atlas himself listened to the word of Elias, his eyes starting to sparkle softly, the garbage, the ruins, there was something specific that caught his eyes as he would slowly clap his hands together and rub them softly.

"Listen, there are a few electronic devices in those ruins probably... Would you mind if i send a few people over to check them and see if we can get a few repaired?
Maybe we can even find old parts of farming machines and automate the process of obtaining food in general!"

"Only if they repair them while they're there, not take them with them."

Elias says sharply.

"I don't want anything leaving my territory."

[Stigma Wyatt]

Rose follows the directions, slowly and shakily starting to braid the hair. It's not super difficult once she figures it out, but, she's a nervous person by nature.

"That very nice of him..." Rose smiles softly as she works away.

"I think it's a l-little too late for E-Elias and I. We're already adults...s-so I'm sure there's a lot of children that need him more."

Atlas would raise an eye at the comment made by Elias, not realizing why he would want to keep most junk items but it was fair.

"Don't worry, researching the items means that we can get some blueprints going too.
No issue with that."

Whilest the little sprite would look up and simply tilt her head as the braid was starting to form, a smile on her face.

"It is never too late for somebody to have a family, it is never too many, life is like an open book and we are the ones writing in it.
So if you ever feel like you are limited by your choices, just remember that you are the one holding the pen in this book and that you must just push on to have your story written and not overwritten."

Smiling kindly.

"Good."

He says flatly.

"That's all I want."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Heheh...I don't know how to read or write..."

She'd only just learned what it is recently. The words were nice but a bit lost on her...

Rose could only understand slightly simpler things.
