Rai had received a letter from Cabal Academy. They were looking for some assistance in showing some of their younger recruits how to use Qi properly on the battlefield. However, due to the exam going on, most of the instructors or students with experience were all busy. So they were willing to offer payment if Rai would be willing to show up and give the students a short Qi tutorial. Rai scoffed at the letter when he first received the notice and was about to toss it without a second thought. But Rai would pause. If he did tell Cabal to fuck off for no reason… Sigh… He would only be proving to them what they thought of the Dragons, and Rai himself, to be accurate, and accurate or not Rai wasn’t about to let them feel smug for even a moment. So, Rai would proceed to make his way towards Cabal Academy. If it was a demonstration they wanted, it was a demonstration they were going to get. Rai would show up at the gates of Cabal Academy and knock loudly. He would have to wait a few moments before a couple of guards showed.
“Yeah, yeah what do you-“
The first guard was rendered speechless upon seeing Rai standing there impatiently.
“Oi, what’s your problem mate? Who is-“
The second guard would start to ask as he walked over and saw what the first guard saw. The Blood Dragon standing before them, looking Regal as Fuck. Rai would roll his eyes.
“Raikotsu Sudeki, The Blood Dragon, at your service. I am here because your masters sent for me. Here, see?”
Rai would begin to rummage his pockets until he found the letter he received from Cabal Academy, he would then proceed to hand the letter to the stunned guards, who would attempt to find some sort of composure as quickly as possible. Taking the letter from Rai the two would read over it together both surprised and curious as to what possible reason Cabal would have sent for The Blood Dragon, one of the largest outlaws along with all of the others in the Dragons Gang. As they read they reluctantly understood with why he had been summoned but even still… they both wondered if their leaders knew what they were requesting when they sent for The Blood Dragon. But they both resigned to the fact that their leaders were far wiser than they were, they also both knew that The Blood Dragon was stronger than the two of them, and more due to the last thought than the first, they opened the gate to let Rai through.
“To get to the training yard, your going to want to head in that direction, then follow the signs. Once you get there just tell the guard on duty and he’ll gather the new recruits for your demonstration. Welcome to Cabal Academy, Sir.”
Rai would nod at the helpful guard. Well that was awfully nice. He wondered if it was because the guard was trying to help or was trying to make sure Rai went in the right direction and didn’t stir up unwanted trouble. Well, whatever the case may have been Rai still found the directions helpful.
“Thank you very much.”
With that Rai went on his way. Following the directions he was given he would soon find himself at the training grounds. Rai would notify the guard on post to gather the new recruits. After a few moments there would be a crowd. Rai would stand there until everyone was gathered. After the guard informed him that everyone was there he would thank the guard and proceed to stand in front of the gathered crowd.
“Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen. I am Raikotsu Sudeki, The Blood Dragon, Reaper of Hades, and The former Crimson King. I’ve been asked to show up here today to give you lot a Qi demonstration.”
Rai would proceed to cut both of his hand open with his sharp rings. Black blood would begin to seep from the cuts. Kuron would come oozing out of one hand and form himself next to Rai.
“Today Kuron and I will be demonstrating how to use multiple Qi’s to create a combined Offensive and Defensive move. First I will use my ability to defend myself from my attacker.”
Rai’s arm would then be covered with a black blood armor.
“Just like this, my arm is now my shield because it is being protected by my Qi, watch as that is not all I can do!”
Rai’s arm would then morph growing spikes along the arm and claws from the fist.
“Now my arm is both my shield and my armor. Kuron, attack me.”
Kuron would leap at Rai his arm forming a sharp blade aimed to slash at Rai’s chest! Rai would catch the blade on his arm then, using the spikes on his arm he would parry the blade and ‘stab’ Kuron who would absorb the blood into his body, looking like he just got impaled by the claws on Rai’s fist.
“I can also use my Qi to increase my speed and strength making me a harder opponent to hit and defend against. It is important to learn the many different ways you can manipulate your Qi AND how to let your Qi manipulate you. Remember, there is no such thing as a weak, or useless, ability. If used properly even the most pointless looking abilities can be used to destroy strong opponents, maybe even a Dragon.”
Rai would chuckle at his little quip.
“Alright, now train hard, and never forget to fight to your fullest!”
With that Rai would reabsorb the blood, and Kuron and heal his wounds. It was time for him to return to his journey, he had taken out too much time already… But, he did have fun teaching kids again…
