Rai would just watch as Spike would rip out his own eye and proceed to offer it Trinity. He sighed. He was definitely is fathers son. Well, that was their business now. For now he would just stay silent and watch, he would talk to Mathew later, if Mathew was even up for talking with Rai after this mess.

Mathew turned when Spike decided he was not going to follow instructions. His arms folding over his chest as the boy got his sentiments out of the way. A single eyebrow would raise however as Spike began to rip the eyeball out of his own socket.
No. He was not gonna watch as this kid blinded himself for no reason. If there was sibling love then his sister wouldn't be here to collect his eyes in the first place. To the Amtrums family was important, especially direct family. Apparently, Leon and his absenteeism didn't instill the same feelings in both of his kids. And so for Spike's own good, he would step in. As he'd promised Leon he'd do.
He'd start walking toward them with a frown inhaling deeply before exhaling a torrent of stone and shrapnel at the Sudeki children. It would likely hurt as all lessons that stuck did, but the true purpose was its petrification side effect that would slow their joints and muscles as Mathew would go to grab the eye out of Spike's hand with a snarl.
"Don't forget the reason we are here to begin with boy."

Interesting. Despite the order Mathew had just given, Evelyn would slow her pushups as Spike came to a stop, wanting to talk to his sister. The tension in the air thickened enough to turn it to soup, switching to names she'd not heard before as the redhead pulled her knees up to her chest and stood. What was he doing? Before she could say anything, Spike's hands were already at his eye, pulling it out, viscera and all. She blinked, reaching out a hand to stop him, but he was already walking forward. With a smile. It was like something out of a dream, or a nightmare. The sibling moment was enough to make her chest hurt for a moment before her stomach churned and rose up into her throat. Shifting positions, she braced herself for some form of attack, gaze going from the Sudeki's to the man with the dark hair as her father brought his judgement down on those before him. If it was a fight, then so be it. What it would be remained to be seen, but she wouldn't just keep herself on the ground while this continued to escalate. |

Rai would GTFO! He was not about to get in the middle of this fight. Nope, that was all on the younger Sudeki's. He would make his way over to stand beside Evelyn and watch.

Trinity’s eyes snapped to Spike as he got up. Her heart thundered as he came toward her and began talking. “Half? No. We searched for you for years. I always had my eye out, hoping I’d see you again. Worried doesn’t even begin to cover it.” When he stretched his arms out for a hug, Trinity snatched him into her arms. He was gone for so long. She never truly thought he was dead. How could she? When he sarted to pull away, she held on but eventually let go. And then, just like dad, he pulled his fucking eye out. “Goddammit Sage!” She would move to push his hand back but Mathew attacked?! Really! Trinity threw up her sheild, not onherself, but on Sage. It wouldn’t completely keep him safe, but that wasn’t the point. Of course her sheild didn’t last. It shattered, but the blunt of the hit was absorbed. However, she would fucking eat the rocks thrown at her and then breathe out her thundercloud muttering to Sage whilst doing it. “Get out of the area. I want you safe. And keep the fucking eye.” If Mathew was distracted, she would pluck back the eye and shove it into Sage’s hopefully awaiting hand.
Qi uses:
Zero Ability: God Eater - every Elemental/Energy attacks can be ingested/inhaled taking blunt force dmg, This gives Trinity +1 temporary Qi use, and adds +18 to damage calculations of her next attack in the damage type of the attack ingested/inhaled. (This includes explosions or Qi constructs)
Legacy Zero Ability: (Takumi's Zero Ability): Force of Fate
Desc: Takumi is able to create a shield anywhere he so chooses. His limit is one at a time. However, being as he can make them anywhere, he normally only needs one at a time. The power of his ENG.
Thunder Cloud - Trinity may exhale a thunder cloud that make all caught within feel nauseous. Inflicts all caught within the cloud with damage equal to 1/2 her eng. Radius of the cloud is 20 ft.
Qi uses remaining:11/13 Trinity began picking herself up off the ground. That fucking HURT! Her side, head, and arms were bleeding from being thrown at the rocks behind her. Trinity forced herself into a defensive stance. She didn’t know what hurt most, but she sure as hell wasnt about to let Mathew anywhere near her little brother. “I don’t care what you do to me, but I won’t let you hit my brother again.” |

Spike was blasted away by the stone breath, rolling a few times in the dark made him dizzy which was odd. He would lift activate his Seikatsugan as the dead eye came back into service to get up. He shook his head trying to force it to orient, but he'd walk back towards Mathew waving Trinity off.
"It's all good, Trin. I'm safe here, Mathew is simply trying to protect me from you, as you are trying to do. I took a gamble, turns out it at least showed us that you aren't going to take my eyes."
Spike would walk over to his spot again and start doing push ups, his arms were shaky from pain, blood dripping to the ground from his cheek and chin where it was draining from his empty socket.
"Trust me. I'm safe where I am."

She should have just stayed down because when she launched another attack against him he was inclined to respond in kind. He wasn't here to play around, and it didn't really matter who was trying to get to Spike. He was off limits. He'd didn't by the sweet sister bit either, Spike had been gone for two decades and Trinity moments before had chastised Rai for giving up her objective. If she was worried about Spike the best thing she could do is pretend she never found him.
He let the cloud wash over him, the twisting in his stomach mild thanks in large part to his partial immunity from electric based attacks. Perks of hanging around Leon for so many years he expected. Gave the gamble fruit something to work with. Unhooking his mace from his hip he'd slide forward, confident that the petrifying qualities of his last attack will have her barely able to move as he'd slam the mace for her stomach.
"Evelyn! Get Spike to a medic with his eye and see that he doesn't bleed out because of this idiocy."
He'd bark at her as he focused in on the invader. She wasn't going to get near him again if Mathew had his way.

This was...interesting. No, crazy was more like it. The oddest family reunion Evelyn had seen, anyway, and that included know her small pack of uncles. She didn't buy the suddenly sweet sister routine, knowing that the Sudekis weren't like her own family, but at the end of the day, that's what they were - family. And you didn't try to hurt family like that.
Yet despite ripping out his own eye and being told to keep it, Spike continued with his training like the last few minutes had never happened, pushing past the injury and blood dripping from the now empty socket. It was creepy. She glanced back to her father, wondering what exactly they were supposed to do: act like nothing was out of the ordinary, or fight. She'd been ready to join if needed instead of just sitting by, but things seemed under control. Ish.
"Right." The stomach churning sensation of the lightning storm was annoying, but only mildly uncomfortable compared to what it could be. Evelyn knelt down next to Spike, since she hadn't moved from her spot, and touched his shoulder with her hand as her fingers wrapped firmly around it and pulling him up if she needed to.
"Come on." She didn't know what all he went through to keep going like that as though it were normal, but it was better to get him healed now before more damage happened.

Rai would move with Evelyn, covering her in case Trin and Mathew began to fight, he wanted to make sure he could shield her and Spike so they could get him medical attention. But he wouldn't leave. He would stay and intently watch what might be about to unfold.

Trinity crumpled under his blow. Fighting to remain conscious, she eyed her attacker. Would she die? Maybe. It was worth it to see her brother was safe. She could see stead forming and knew she was moments away from losing consciousness. Before she let herself slip into the darkness that awaited her, she whispered three words to Mathew.
“Keep him safe.”
And she passed out.

He frowned down at the girl's body as she fell. Debating on smashing in her skull, the only thing keeping him from doing so was his agreement about not killing each other's kids.

Rai nodded reluctantly.
"If I'm being completely honest. She surprised me."
He rubbed the back of his head.
"I sent Kuron to go find her, he was given strict orders to delay her arrival here until after I was able to talk things over with you. To inform you of her intentions and to see how you would've liked to handle that situation. I wasn't expecting her to find me, least of all as quickly as she did. I underestimated her. But, my reason for seeking y'all out was only to speak to you. I have no interest in trying to take either Spike or his eyes away from your protection. If you'll allow me, I would still like to discuss why I searched you out. However, I do understand that I have caused you more trouble here today than necessary. For that, I do apologize Master."
Rai would say, bowing as he spoke those final words. It would really suck if Mathew turned his back and left Rai standing there... But Rai would only have himself, mostly, to blame.

Rai stood back up and nodded.
"Long story short, I've been tracking down the people that killed me. That investigation lead me to Chris Gunn, one of Leon's men. He told me that he found signs of mysterious deaths in the sewers of 259."
He paused for a minute, shuddering as that woman came to his thoughts again.
"I... don't think I'm strong enough to go down there alone. So, I came here to ask for your assistance."
Rai reached up and touched the scars around his eye subconsciously.
"You know the kind of monsters that lie down there better than even I..."
