Reunions all around! (Mathew, Spike, Trinity, Evelyn)

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

After meeting with Hades and a short detour, Rai would send Kuron on Trinity's bike to meet back up with her so that he could lead her to the meeting spot where Rai was going to meet with Spike and Mathew. Upon arriving himself he would move around in an attempt to find Mathew, who, in all honesty, would probably find him first. That was a frightening thought in Rai's head as he hoped his old Master wouldn't strike first and MAYBE ask questions later...

[Mathew Amtrum]

"You two can do better than this."

Mathew watched Spike and Eve doing pushups with his arms folded over his chest. Staring daggers at them.

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity had already left the city, alone. Soni was in the infirmary, the nurses had been decently upset with her for bringing the ‘innocent angel’ back harmed. It wasn’t hard to find Raikotsu. Especially when she could so easily follow the Qi she knew so well. Raikotsu has meant so much to her. She knew they were just cousins....


but...


He was more like a brother to her. Trinity would arrive, on a new bike she had obtained, and glance around the area. This was different. Definitely not what she was used to. She found Rai and followed silently behind him. She was sure he would sense her, as he always had before, but what was the fun in not doing so? She just had to.

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Evelyn could feel the stare boring hole in the back of her head as she grit her teeth on another push up. It was strength training day, apparently.

She silently counted out another push up, currently focused on that.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike was pumping out slow, constant, rhythmic push ups. He counted out loud, but he was definitely feeling the burn.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Hearing the sounds of people working out Rai knew he was close. Activating his Seikatsugan he would scan the area to find the location of those he searched for.

"Ah, there you are."

Deactivating his Seikatsugan he would make his way over towards the small group.

"Still pushing everyone past there limits I see. How have you been, Master?"

Rai would say when he was within hearing range he would bow in respect to his Master when he came near. It had been a long time, too long, even before his death, since he had come to visit his old Master.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew turned hearing a familiar voice but rather than greeting him warmly he would turn an icy glare at him.

"How did you find me?"

His eyes swept over to the girl following behind him.

"And who is the stray?"

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would stand up straight at attention.

"I went to your house and when I discovered you weren't there Barker suggested I seek the one of the Gods for assistance so I could use one of their throne's to boost my Seikatsugan to find your and Spikes Qi signatures. So I went to Hades, he asked me why I was searching for you, and when I told him it was to seek your guidance and to reunite Trinity and Spike to try to convince her to abandon or at least delay her mission to collect Spike's eyes, he allowed me to use his throne and thus I found you. As for the stray, as previously stated that is Trinity Sudeki, my cousin, Spike's sister. I figured that if I couldn't convince her to give up her quest, you would succeed in doing so."

Rai said as quickly and coherently as possible afraid that if he misspoke once then he would wake up hours later with a headache and no clue where he or anyone else was.

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity half waved at Matthew and glared at Rai.

“Well, what an introduction. And just putting everything out there too.”

She rolled her eyes and turned her gaze back to Matthew.

“Well, I suppose you can go ahead and try to dissuade me from my mission. However, my brother knows how I am. He knows how WE are.”

She made emphasis on the word ‘we’. Her tone was not rude, just matter of fact. Her eyes wandered again and landed on Spike. Her heart throbbed a little and she straightened, moving her eyes back to Mathew.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Oh, by all means, take his eyes."

He'd crack his neck.

"Assuming you can kill me before I kill you. And then assuming you can withstand him and my daughter afterward."

He'd eye her waiting to see if she tries it, or not.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai glared back at Trinity.

"Trinity!"

He would say with all the intensity he had within him. He was shocked that she was seriously considering this! He would turn to face her.

"That's enough! I didn't bring you here to rip out Spike's eyes! I brought you here to show you that Spike is just as if not more safe than anyone else in the Sudeki Clan. Look! Mathew is willing to kill you, Leon's second child, just to protect Spike because of a deal he has with Leon. Think about it. Think about your father, do you really believe for even a second that Leon would set forth this chain of events to get Spike here, with Mathew, if there were even a SLIGHT chance that Spike's eyes could just be taken? You are far too young and inexperienced to assume you know better than your fathers wishes. As much as I'd like to say I'm better than Leon, I know I'm not half the strategist he is. So know your place Trinity Sudeki, if you decide to attempt to take Spike's eyes anyways, I will be your opponent before anyone else gets the opportunity."

Rai would then Square off against Trinity. Waiting to hear her answer. He thought she was better than this... How could she want to harm her own brother that much...

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity would look Mathew up and down, musing aloud.

“The Earth Dragon, Ares, the God of War: Mathew Amtrum. No, I don’t think I’d like to kill you. Not today, besides. I think I would do better to play the long game. But to spar with THE God of War, Ares the Earth Dragon. Wouldn’t I love to have the honor!”

There was no trace of sarcasm. She was being honest. Truly and completely. Then there was Rai.

...Know your place...

Trinity turned on the spot and aimed a right hook for the center of Rai’s face! Whether he blocked or not, she wouldn’t care.

“You will not speak to me as if you are above me cousin. No matter the circumstances.”

She made no other moves. If a hit was thrown her way, she would block only, nothing more.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Not here to spar you girl. I'm here for Spike."

A debt repaid. He'd turn his back on her, if she wasn't going to try and take Spike he'd just as soon keep doing what he was already doing.

"And don't you two think this means you can slow down. Move!"

[Evelyn Amtrum]

While she hadn't stopped, Evelyn had definitely been focusing on the conversation going on around them. She felt her shoulders tense somewhat in anticipation as the woman known as Trinity declaring her intent in no uncertain terms and no desire to change her mind. Driven, then, and determined. But the dark haired man was an idiot. Why convince her here, within range of the target she sought? Or was he just expecting her father would take over if that failed? Not that he wouldn't, just as she would give her all if it came to a fight - she owed Uncle Leon that much, at least.

But it seemed talk was all it was for now, so when Mathew gave his orders, she pushed herself harder, counting aloud as though the two hadn't become spectators to their training.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would stop doing push ups as the encounter went on, holding himself in the front leaning rest position, staring at the ground the whole time. Turning his head slightly to look at Eve who was diligently doing what she was supposed to, Spike would take a breath and stand up. He'd grin and scratch the back of his head before looking to Mathew.

"Sorry... Do you mind if I say something to, Trinity?"

If given the go ahead or not Spike would give a large smile, walking towards Trinity and Raikotsu lifting his eye patch. Showing the scar in full view with the eye that was obviously grey and lacking color, it didn't work, while he would speak.

"Hey, Clover. Sorry I went missing for so long. Probably worried you half to death, huh?"

Spike would chuckle a bit putting his hands on his hips.

"Must of been rough... Dad doing what he does best, staying out of family affairs, and my vanishing, all the responsibilities must of fallen on your lap, huh?"

Spike would move in to give his sister a hug.

"I'm sorry."

He'd hold the hug for a few moments before pulling away. With a smile his hand would quickly move into his face, his index, middle finger, and thumb digging into the socket, closing around the eye ball before ripping it free from his head, blood oozing from the messy socket, as the eye lid hung loosely before closing from trauma. He kept the smile as he held the eye ball out to his new world of darkness.
