She was close and it was a close race no doubt. Avice while waiting to be announced with the next exam. She would find a place to meditate while she healed. Prota had given her all she needed to be ready and quickly available. Including donated blood for their new command squad member. She had very little understanding of what that meant, just took advantage of its perks.
She left to a quiet spot, a familiar place near the Cabal grounds. She thought to meditate. She sensed some familiar Qi's were missing and new ones had come to play. She grew familiar with most of them during the race. It wasn't they she was worried about however.
No, she was piecing together herself after the most recent Optimization she under went. Side effects she might want to bring up on her next physical. Her mind was hazy and she was cold. It was like waking from a dream and trying too remember it. Suppose that is why they call those like her Sleeper Agents. Yes she began to believe she was always working for Prota. Training and searching amongst the runners getting intel on all transactions and infiltrating strong holds to prepare for her test. She was chosen as a child and is finally grasping the fruit of her survival. The taste in her mouth accepting this as truth felt like swallowing rusted nails and tarnished copper. In a way she tried to warn them, she tried to stay away, run away... Forever. But they tried to take her in... And she was already a black spot and an ill omen, claimed.
She felt her Qi flow angrily the more she thought about it. She however she was not angry she was quite accepting. So why was her Qi in disarray?
Breathing she placed both hands in her lap and felt her flow calm. She searched within herself, eyea closed and watched as the shades of Qi around her started to fade to black. All except her own. Her own dark Qi flowed and she rode it smoothing its peril and mourning.
Suddenly she saw a pure bright light like a dim star and it passed by like she was looking though a car window in a closed shop. She tried to go back and see it, to reach for it when she sensed someone getting close. She fluttered opened her eyes and her hands were pressed in the lower parts of her abdomen. She remained there looking around for the Qi that came close. Resting her hands in her lap.
A creature came close with weary and curious look. It sniffed the air around Avice and she out stretched her hand. It flinched at the movement at first but continued to ease closer. Sniffing her fingers it watched her its fur was a few various shades she wasn't sure what they were. She recognized the fox like tail and the tall ears. The narrow nose. Except it was different the featurea were extreme and the pattern was unique. Reminding her a bit of tri-tails she touched her stone the one imbued in the side of her neck. As if seeing the stone the creature elegantly walked in her lap and brushed her chin with a cold nose. She heard a little noise come from its throat as she brushed light fingers across the top of its head. Suppose it was a connection or a relation to the tri-tails it sensed one of its own kind.
"I killed her you know..." Avice said but either it wouldnt understand or didn't care. It tapped its tail and got comfortable in her lap.

Rai would be walking along with a small Bat like creature cradled in his arms. The Creature would appear to be suckling on Rai's finger. A when he thought he had heard a voice. Turning towards the source of the noise Rai would eventually find himself approaching a woman with what appeared to be a tiny colorful fox in her lap. "Oh, Hello there." |

Petting the rather dirty and wild fox she looked over at the voice that called to her. This was the Qi that invaded her senses. It was quite powerful but one she didn't recognize.
She sat silent for a few seconds.
"Hello... Be weary of yourself. Seen with me might cause you some suspicion." She warned. To some at cabal she might be branded a traitor and the fact she works for Prota wont go over well should he ve from a rival territory.

Rai chuckled a bit, this disturbed the little bat in his arms which looked up at him as it flicked its ear in annoyance before returning to feeding on Rai's Qi infused blood. Rai would choose to sit on a rock near him across a little bit from the stranger.
"Well, thats a relief. Normally I'm the one saying that to folks. So, you don't have worry none about me. I'm already considered suspicious and for some I'm called a criminal, which is just plain stupid if you ask me."
Rai would sigh and shake his head.
"Name's Raikotsu Sudeki, might I inquire your name?"

Her eye slightly twitched and she was not quite sure why honestly. His name she recognized and it wasnt a good taste.
"I would ask why you would believe I'd trust you, when I expect you not to trust me for the same reasons." she cracked a grin. "But you are a Sudeki... Somehow that makes perfect sense. My name is Avice Locke."

"A Sudeki... Yes, I guess our name does come with a lot of baggage doesn't it."
Rai would chuckle again, though more silently so as to not disturb his new little friend.
"Hmmm... Avice Locke, can't say that is a name I recognize but the way you say it suggest that your name comes with a lot of baggage too."
Rai would inspect the young woman before him, she seemed... strange. Rai would activate his Seikatsugan while looking her over. Ah, her aura was all over the place. No wonder she gave off the feeling she did. This poor girl had been through some shit, and not just some average smelly shit, nope she had taken a trek through some of the shittiest shit piles Rai had ever seen, and it had left a massive stain on her aura. Rai would deactivate his Seikatsugan.
"And from the look of your aura you have enough baggage weighing down without the help from your name... So, if you don't mind my asking, what brings you out to this little secluded area? While I'll admit it is quiet and a good place to get away from it all, it is still a dangerous area. For instance, take a look at our little friends here."
Rai would say motioning to the fox in her lap and the bat in his hands.
"These two my just be babies, but babies don't just fall out of trees. Oh, sorry little one too soon."
He would say to the bat in his arms, which he had found after it fell out of a tree... poor thing.

A strange feeling happened.. Did the world get brighter or did a fog clear she looked around and a shudder trailed down her back. She remembered the feeling of some eyes on her. Some kind of twisted and unatural eye as if it looked right through her. She remembered a pool of inky black, a field that never ended... And Leon Sudeki.
She blinked and realized Raikotsu was speaking to her. "Y-yes... Much like them I was searching. Someone taught me how to meditate and events though I thought it was silly. I find that if none the less... It helps me think... The bloke was a Fuckin' Cock no doubt... But he taught me something."
She remembered something more as she spoke. A rumble deep within her began to bubble and quickly grew. Remembering what caused Eric... Mathew to discard her. Leon Sudeki messed with her head. The rumbling was growing... Her Qi grew into further disarray and she was beginning to remember why.

The Qi beast in Rai's arms finally stopped feeding as it turned to look at Avice. Just like Rai the tiny creature could sense the fluctuating Qi inside the woman. Something was happening to her, both were curious as to what though.
"I can see that something is troubling you. Would you like to talk about it? Sometimes the best thing is having a stranger to talk to because there is no reason to hold anything back, no need for censoring yourself. If you need it, go off. I will not be offended."

"Prota will take you and augment you. They will fix your limbs. They will change you, your mind. Adjust you to be more cooperative. Take away your will. I can't stop that from happening, they did the same thing to me. You have to find Barker, he is the only one that can fix things. Until then you will be a slave to Prota."
She just didn't understand... The fog in her head seemed to have dropped like she was hiding under a blanket. She grimaced and fangs sharply exposed.
She stood and more words entered her head from a distant dream bubbling to the surface without hindrance.
"While you are meditating and stuck in here, I've removed your eyes and put my original eyes in your head. No one will be able to tell, not Prota, or even Barker. You will barely feel eye irritation when you wake up. I will be taking an apprentice, find them tell them you can get me out of the Spirit realm, they will help you. Do this, and once I'm free I will help you reach your goals."
She grabbed Rai by the shirt a burning rage in her expression. "You want me to go off!? I am so sick of the Dragons tossing and toying with me! I need to find Leon's apprentice and some wank named Barker, do you know anything?" she lost focus for a moment with a resonating realization.
"Fuck... I'm pregnant."
She let go of him and looked over to quite a skiddish looking fox to scoop it up an hold something she was in a wirl of bottled up angst and emotion that she was vomiting what felt like twenty different things all at once.

Rai braced but otherwise attempted to remain calm as Avice grabbed him by the shirt. The tiny bat however screeched and flapped it wings in terror until the woman stepped away. The bat would cling to Rai climbing up his chest then over his shoulder to hide in Rai's hair, but it soon peek over Rai's shoulder to still watch what was unfolding before it's eyes. Rai watched the woman with a pained understanding in his eyes.
"The elder Dragons are definitely a fucked up bunch, speaking from personal experience myself there. So, trust me when I say I understand... but even still, I can tell they fucked your world a hell of a lot worse than mine."
Rai would walk to Avice and place a hand on her back as she vomited.
"That being said though, I do know where Barker is... But you aren't going to like the answer..."
He would wait patiently for Avice to finish blowing chunks though, before continuing.

She whiped her mouth with her sleeve as she dry heaves between words.
"I'll take what I can fuckin' get before what ever Prota put in me comes back give it to me while I am clearly thinking... I still need to know this apprentice of his as well." Seems she'll have to keep an ear open to find out who that is.
The Fox with a head low seemed to want to know what is wrong but is too scared to get close. Seems they both needed help in trusting others.

"Hmmm, I can't help you with the apprentice unfortunately. I didn't know my uncle had any more surviving apprentices. But, first place I'd recommend checking would be Leon's lightning fortress. As for Barker... He is living at the residence of Mathew Amtrum... The Earth Dragon, and while Barker himself doesn't seem to mind surprise guests, Mathew... Well, last time I brought a surprise guest to his house I got buried to my neck for a week and the elder dragons took turns kicking me in face."
Rai would motion for Avice to take a seat again if she was done retching. Rest for a woman in her... situation, was what would be best.

She felt the pat and leaned back exhaling.
"Mathew was my first partner when I thought to play Cabal's game by its rules. A game of which I've been not a player, but a fuckin' pawn. That fuckin' cock will know me knockin' even if I must bust his door to do it." wouldn't be her first reaction but it certainly would make her feel better. She looked at him and his little bat friend. She gave it an apologetic look and tried to pet its head with a finger. "Pains me to imagine more than one person ruined after becoming a Dragons Toy."
A jealous Fox hopped into her lap once more with more vigor of desperation. She would pet it as well. "Please I hardly know you but do well to keep my secret... I'll not let Prota get their hands on what is in me."
She began to calm down and by calm down she was mellowing out as the building block of Prota's hold were refitting together.

The tiny bat ducked quickly but realized she meant no harm and nuzzled her finger gently before ducking back behind Rai's shoulder. Rai would smile at Avice.
"I'll do you one better. I'll tell you how to get to Mathew's place if you swear to never tell anyone, SPECIFICALLY Mathew, Barker, or Mistoumi, that I'm the one who told you how to get there; and-"
Rai would stand up straight and using his sharp ring cut his hand and with his blood he would form his Dragon Seal. Then he would hand it to Avice.
"Here, when you go to Lightning Territory, show this to any of Leon's Mafia members and they will probably be more willing to help you."

She welcomed the help and silently stuck the seal in her pocket. A quiet nod she would feel grateful to Rai.
"You wouldn't think they'd also possibly be someone attending Cabal would you?" she wanted to ask and rule out or factor in her choices. "I would like the aid, anything you can give. Your secrets, for mine, we'd be even." she would stand but wait for directions to Mathews house.
She pulled up her hood and stuck hands in the pockets of her long black armored coat. Becoming more docile by the moment. However her memory and mind were as clear as day, a stark difference from before and one she could live with.
Honestly the one thing driving her ambition is just to ask Leon Sudeki why he pulled this stunt. Dragging her through Prota and the shit. If he gave her some "Blaze" of an answer like "It was all to better you... Becuse now you are stronger." she just might say Fuck it and shove him back in his dimensional prison after stabbing him to bleed slowly.
