The girl tried to get out as she crawled a little closer to Soni with a hand out, as if asking for help. If Soni accepted the hand and helped the girl up, she would be rewarded with an upper cut to the chin!
"FUCK YOU BITCH!"
The girl would say as she turned to run away into the woods...

Soni was happy to help as the girl held out her hand. She chuckled as she began to help the girl up. "Heh is this the part where you pu-"

Apparently, it was. Though without a tongue or lips, Soni naturally held her jaw shut, so that helped take the punch. But, it definitely hurt nonetheless, as could easily be determined by the yelp Soni let out when she was hit.
The little thief let out some expletives and dashed into the jungle, hopefully never to be seen again. "...brat." Soni muttered, crossing her arms and hmph-ing. "Come on Muse, it's safe now," the girl called out to her bird happily, following it with a cheery little coo. The bird, though a little apprehensive, fluttered safely into her arms. Soni pet it softly, though her ears were definitely more wary of any sounds that might come from the bushes.
With that, she'd turn around and look at the trees. "Now, to go find our bag and get back to reading." She nodded with approval of her own statement and made her way back to where she began.
