Easygoing, lackadaisical, and somewhat lazy, Valerian has a bit of an issue with fulfilling his responsibilities. History
Born a Zukunft noble in Territory 115, Valerian has had an easy life so far. His family is extremely wealthy, even among the other noble families, and his father is considered to be one of the founding fathers of medicine, while his mother is a brilliant businesswoman. For a time, it was believed that Valerian would follow in his father’s footsteps, as the young man was quick to pick up everything that was put in front of him, learning at an astonishing rate.
Up until he declared he was bored, and said he was done.
Afterwards, Valerian devoted himself to learning more about and improving himself, including the Qi ability that he was told he had inherited from his father, though his father had never demonstrated any such ability. Those times he was given responsibilities to further his House’s reputation, he often would shirk his duty completely, opting instead to go drinking with friends, or romancing maids, nobles, whoever would listen to him.
Utterly annoyed by his son’s behavior, and having been ordered by higher-ups to mend relations with 259 after the battles that had made the accords appear to be falling apart, Valerian’s father swiftly sent him to Cabal’s Academy to be enrolled for the time being as something of an ambassador, as Valerian was deemed to be valuable enough to be considered a high ranking member of Zukunft, while still considered disobedient enough to be disciplined.
