Cleaning out the closet (closed)

Melanie was finally going through her things and getting rid of old things she didn't use anymore. Clothes, hats, shoes. Especially the shoes. The closet was so full of shoes it wasn't even funny. Why did women have so many pairs of shoes? Well, by the time Melanie was done throwing away shoes, she had counted thirteen pairs, and she still had six pairs left. She sat back and looked over her closet, still rather full of clothes, shoes and three hats... and an egg? Oh right. She remembered that. It had mysteriously arrived while she was on an egg hunt. Odd that one. Melanie shrugged and grabbed it. She was going to toss it out like everything else she didn't need. That was when something weird happened. The egg twitched and the crease seemed more visible. Melanie carefully took the egg in her hands and pulled it closer. She placed her hands on either side and opened the egg.
