Trinity had decided to return to the Compound. She had left Spike alive and NOT taken his eyes. She wanted to stay with him and help to keep him safe but she knew she would never be able to. Besides. Mathew was much stronger than she was. She really hoped he could be trusted. If her father had decided that was best, then she’d go with it. It wasn’t like she had much choice in the matter either way.

Well, on to the compound then. She had to turn in her report and let them know she was not going to return Spike’s eyes. It was nearly he same situation as with her mission to gather Leon’s eyes. She wasn’t really paying much attention to her destination as she usually did. Otherwise she would have seen it sooner.

The compound was burned to the ground nothing stood in its wake. Bodies lie everywhere. Trinity walked around, dazed. What the hell was happening?!

She spent longer than she should have searching the entire compound for any signs of people that yet lived. No one was left. Everyone was dead and all their eyes taken. Finally after what felt like years, Trinity left the compound. Where would she go? What would she do? No family here... Exactly. No family HERE. Trinity nearly raced out to her bike, jumped it and yanked the throttle back. She needed Raikotsu.

Trinity wouldn't really stop. She rode her bike as close to the building he occupied as possible before jumping off, letting the bike fall to the ground, and barreling up to the office. The door would fly open, revealing a stupefied Clover.

"Their.... Eyes..."

She couldn't form sentences. Only a few words escaped her. Trin's eyes were wild taking in the whole room but seeming to see nothing. Finally she collapsed near a chair.

"Dead."

Two royal guards and three blood Zells would go flying at the door as soon as it was kicked in. But Rai recognized the sound of the motor that roared to the mansion's door. Throwing up a hand blood would rise from the floor stopping all the would be defenders.

"That's enough. She is welcome. Leave us."

With that he would lower the blood back into the floor, all that were in the room would promptly leave closing the door behind them. Rai would walk over to Trinity and pull her into an embrace.

"I know, I know Trin..."

He would hold her for a moment long before walking her over to a seat.

"Please, sit. We need to talk."

Trinity felt Rai's arms around her her hands fumbled at his biceps in a form of and embrace. After a few moments she folded herself into his arms, breathing in his familiar scent and finally letting herself cry. Afteer what felt like only a few seconds Rai moved her to the chair.

"What happened?"

Her voice was small, childlike.

Rai frowned.

"When I arrived there I found the compound in flames, my dad was fighting a masked opponent. He told me to assist the clan and not interfere... what was most frightening was he looked beat and tired... I've never seen him like that before... but I did as he asked and helped organize the clan to run away. When I returned to my father he had lost an arm and the masked fighter remained undamaged. He told me to run, to find and release Leon and Reisuke. I was able to release Reisuke... but in our attempt to release your father, my dad and the masked fighter showed up, and it was revealed that the masked man was the real Reisuke, and the Reisuke we knew was actually the Demon Reisuke made a deal with. Now the real Reisuke and my Dad should have headed back to the compound. I am to meet them there to train so I can release Leon."

Trin's eyes were wide as she took in the information. her hands clenched and released the crease of her jeans.

My father is still in the other world and Reisuke is alive again. [thoughts]

"Your father lost an arm?"

she grasped the only thing she could. This was easier to speak of.

"How unfortunate..."

She was still dazed.

Rai shook his head.

"More like Reisuke is STILL alive from what I understand. However the Demon is back to collect on his end of the bargain. We are going to train to stop him. We all need to get stronger in order to fight that Demon... oh, and I replaced my Dads arm with a replica made from my blood, with his ability to manipulate Qi it should be better than his old arm. But even still... I am worried for the future."

Trinity raised her eyes from her lap to meet Rai's.

"His end? what-"

She stopped looking down at his hands, her own reaching for his.

Rai grabbed her hands and held them.

"Us... The Demon has come back to kill us, take our eyes and steal our souls and force us to become his army of the damned within his realm."

He lowered his head.

"I won't let that happen. I will become stronger, whatever it takes, no matter the risks. I have to protect everyone. I WILL protect everyone..."

Trinity watched him for a moment, taking it in that their family would be destroyed. Everything they had worked for. Everything that they had done. The people they had hurt or saved...

"No. I'll be by your side. I always am."

If he had not lifted his head she would force it up so their eyes would meet. He'd notice her golden eyes were liquid fire. molten Lava. Golden fury.

"I will train with you and stand by you. You are my cousin."

He would smile as he looked into Trin's eyes. That was a fight that he could get behind.

"Agreed Trin. I will be happy to have you by my side."

Trin smiled back.

"No one fucks with my family and gets away with it. I don't care who he thinks he is. When do we begin?"

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would stand up straight and walk over to his desk.

"I have a few matters to attend to here and at Cabal before I head there, but I told my father, Reisuke, and a woman named Avice, that I would meet them at the compound when I finished with my business. If you would like to meet up with them there and wait for me?"

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity smiled mischievously at her cousin.

"Sorry cuz. I go where you go. There aren't so many of us left, from what i saw. We need to watch each other's backs. Especially if we are all being hunted."
