Suddenly, a scream would sound as three bullets of super condensed sound formed, shooting towards Jacob. One to the left, right, and one headed straight for him. Should any of them hit, it'd be a nasty blow due to the fact they matched his skin's frequency.

Jacob’s smile faded slightly at the sound then he heard the ‘bullets’ on either side, and one hit him in the side. Ow. Searing pain shit through him— literally. But nothing was there. Nothing but... he grinned through gritted teeth at her as he held a hand to his side.

Soni kind of grimaced at the blow she had dealt him. It looked like it stung.

"That's one way to put it."

Noticing his hand put out to the side, she threw up a sound aura. It was his move, so she should be prepared.

Jacob, with his hand still pressed to the wound in his side took a few steps forward.

"Good shot. You are stronger than I. If you like, We'll keep going at it, but I will lose. Shall I attack?"

Honesty. Too honest, but there it was. She was such a lovely girl.

Soni chuckled. "If you have any moves up your sleeve you'd like to show me I'd be happy to see them. But, if you do wanna stop, I'd like to get that patched up," she replied, making a quick hand gesture to the hole in his side.

"If you do decide to keep going I promise I won't throw another one of those at you. But it's totally up to you!"

She walked a little closer, figuring they were probably about ready to wrap up.

Jacob winced at the pain in his side. He didn't want to fight anymore. There was no danger, no real danger, anyway.

"Good thing I don't have too much pride."

He'd attempt a smile but it came out as more of a grimace. He'd drop to his knees and a hand, the other still on his side.

"Good match."

He'd stop the 'attack' on David with a pained smile.

"Too bad for that one though."

Soni would chuckle at his comment. "Yea well he'll just enjoy some sleepy time for awhile. He'll be fine he has rock powers and stuff."

The girl would approach Jacob and offer to help him up and help him walk. "What do you say we take care of that and agree I never do that again??"

Inside she felt pretty guilty, but she didn't wanna show it too terribly much.

"Yeah, I hoped for better. He had a lot of talk."

Jacob would take the hand and stand up again.

"But you though, rather impressive. Don't worry about this, I'll heal fine."

[Soni Vox]

"Alright, well, do you wanna go grab like a soda or something? Or do you already have plans?" she'd offer, wishing to repay him somehow for the hard blow.

Jacob would chuckle.

"Yes. I do seem to need more fluids. Soda sounds nice."

He'd chuckle again but not let her go.

"Cool. I know the place. Come on." As she began to help him walk with her, she'd pull out her music device.

"What kind of music do you like Jacob?"

And whatever he said she'd play out of her cat headphones' speakers as they made their way to their destination.
