Everyone in Squad's 8 and 9 would be delivered a missive from fancily dressed individuals. Each missive would say this:
You and your Squad are to take part in tournament against the other students of Cabal to see which squad is the strongest! Please proceed to the Location listed on this missive to participate! (Note: Any memembers that do not show up will be immediately disqualified from any further participation for the remainder of the exams!)
On the back of the missive would be a set of coordinates that would lead them to a special Arena, with a fighting stadium in the middle that was surrounded by stands for spectators as well a small table where the announcer would be sitting during the fights. But since the fights were currently not taking place the announcer would be on stage talking to the crowd!
"Thats right Ladies and Gentlemen! Tonight you will be witnessing Two of Cabal's most fearsome Squads! Squad 8 VERSUS Squad 9!!!"
The crowd would cheer!
"Right now we are just waiting for the squads to show up, but as soon as we have everyone here we will get this party started!"

Faye heads out towards the stadium, feeling highly uncomfortable with how many people were spectating.
She hates crowds. So loud...

Stevie grins at the person, snatched the card, and bounds out of the room. Lunch?! WHO NEEDS FOOD AT A TIME LIKE THIS?! A few minutes later, she arrives at the arena, still wearing the grin.
“Oh hells yeah.”
Stevie looks to the other squad.
“Hi guys!”
All cheery and such.

Cael was a bit bothered by the idea of it being a spectacle, but it wasn't the oddest thing ever. Territory One did have bloodsports. It was kind of like that, though hopefully nothing like that.
"Hey, it's gonna be okay. We are just going to go out there and do our best, no pressure. Alright, Lann?" He'd hold out a hand for a high five. They could do this, they were a team and they would win or lose as a team. Whether Lann left him hanging or not he'd head outside with the others only to be greeted by a woman who shared none of their somberness for this situation.
"Hello. Nice to meet you." He'd reply back to the woman, one of Squad 9 obviously.

Lann gives Cael the shakiest high five he's ever seen, where his hand almost misses the larger man's hand due to the sheer amount of shaking.

Allison would appear at the arena noted on the card! The mage cast a glance around the area, feeling a sense of excitement at a chance to test herself, though she could do without the massive crowd. It was time to see just how this would go.
Other than Stevie, the only person she recognized was Cael. Stevie's boundless energy was surprising, but more so was the fact that they seemed to be down a squad member. She frowned, but turned her attention to the other team. There was still time.
"I look forward to seeing what all of us can do." She nodded in greeting, noting the quiet young woman and the terrified boy she had seen in previous exam rounds. This would be interesting.

Oni seemingly appeared from behind her partners and gave a gentle wave.
"Ooh I'll admit I am a little nervous... It is a pleasure to meet you all and some of you a second time!" her voice was an octive higher than usual. Certainly from nerves.

Stevie was indeed brining over with anticipation and excitement! She was almost bouncing with it.
“Isn’t thi exciting?!”
She exclaimed at her squad mates.
“All this just for our little brawl. Makes you wonder what’s in store.”
She clapped giddily.
“Reminds me of WAAAAAY back in the gladiatorial times. They can’t just be this excited JUST for a fight.”

"ALRIGHT!!! Ladies and Gentlemen! Now that both teams are here I will now go over the rules! Each squad will need to elect a Squad Leader amongst themselves! That Squad Leader will then come up here and they will discuss what the Matches win conditions will be! The win conditions are as follows!
1. Full 3v3 team fight, last team standing wins!
2. 1v1 fights till one team is completely knocked out!
3. 1v1 best two out of three. First team to collect two wins!
In all these fights, you are allowed any item, gear, and weapon use as you want. In order to win a match you must get your opponent to Tap out, or they must be knocked unconscious. ALSO! Once a fight starts, a barrier will surround the arena so no abilities nor persons can get through until the fight is won! Now, Each Squad discuss amongst yourselves who your Squad leaders are, and what your win condition will be!"

Ali frowned at Steve's taunting and shook her head, focusing on that rather than the fact Oni's sudden appearance had startled her. "There's no need to be rude."
The rules seemed simple enough, and ones she could agree to. Ali would nod her consent and understanding, ready whenever the others were.
