Stevie continues to stand. Like an angry toddler.
“Maybe I didn’t want anything from you and just thought you’d need a heads up.”
It came tumbling out of her mouth. He was being mean. Now that she had finally gotten her footing back, she wasn’t taking that anymore.
“I wanted to make sure you knew what was happening. Seeing as i’ll Soon be calling you ally.”
The pout was real in this one.

Stevie stomped her foot and clenched her hanods.
“I KNOW WHERE SHE IS!”
She sighed and relaxed.
“Sorry. I know where she is. I HONESTLY came here only to tell you that. I mean, I guess if you want to help, fine. I’m not asking for it. I’m telling you what’s going on and where I’m going.”
She was hurt. Why did she need his help? I mean Jesus. Really? She wasn’t a child....... ;;>_>

Rai chuckled at the young woman's display. She was indeed amusing, almost the complete opposite of Kiyr who he had trained with when they were trying to become dragons. Inspecting the woman he would scratch his chin.
"Why do you say that pursuing the Water Dragon means you're 'Switching Sides'?"
He asked curiously.

Stevie glared.
“I thought you knew everything. I thought I didn’t need to tell you.”
Steaming mad and quite the smart ass. She could play that game too. She looked away. After a minute she answered. Her voice was calm, cautions even.
“Asiv is different.”

Stevie made eye contact finally.
“Yes. Different. He’s like, I dunno, off his rocker. More than usual I mean. When I entered his office and blatantly asked where the Water Dragon was he pulled out a pistol and asked why I wanted to know. He tried to convince himself that I’m going to kill her... FOR THEM.”
Stevie shook her head.
“Something is up with him.”

Rai was taken aback by her words. Frowning he fold his arms.
"That... is rather troubling news... I didn't realize that something like that was even possible..."
He would look at Stevie then.
"Do you have any idea what might have caused this? Has something been happening in Cabal that has been causing Zack such distress?"

Stevie shrugged. Glancing around the room, she found a chair and landed in it.
“I asked the same question. He claims he was double dealed and betrayed by uh... The Storm Dragon. He’s not wrong, but this is the wrong approach. I told him that too. He’s not listening to reason.”
She raised a hand to her mouth and chewed a nail, thinking.

Rai had to stop him self from just slamming his head onto his desk. Of course it was Blaze... Instead he would pinch the bridge of his nose and sigh loudly.
"That is something I didn't know, and definitely something I needed to know. Thank you."

"Alrighty, well, I'll attempt to figure it all out when I meet him."
Rai thought to himself for a second and he decided it was time.
"Oh and don't worry. You I'll make sure Zack knows that there will be no point in labeling you a traitor. Even if you succeed in killing the Water Dragon that won't make you one of us. All it will do is give you an empty title until you earn the name."

Stevie nodded. Then narrowed her eyes at Rai.
“I do not need your approval. Even if you think it an empty title, it’s mine. I don’t give two shits if you approve or not.”
With that she would stand and move for the door.
“Thank you for seeing me. I wish you luck with Asiv. Be careful.”
The last was said with her back turned as she grasped the knob. If nothing more was said, Stevie would leave and head for the old Texas and her new challenge that awaited her.

Jericho would turn around from facing the window in one solid movement and face Rai.
"It is fortunate that she was not here to kill you. The screams of females during torture is not pleasant to the ear." With that, a long needle protruding from his finger would slide back in.
"I will take my leave now. I left my men without warning. They are quite capable, but left unsupervised can be problematic as history has shown. Is there anything that may be asked of me before departure?" at the end of his question he would make eye contact with Rai. It was what most people thought courteous. So his eyes were fixed on Rai, unwavering.
